    Great vid! I like to use a battery powered leaf blower to clear off excess water and a spotless car wash water system to minimize hard water spots. Makes drying the boat much easier and quicker.

    Started using Shine Supply after watching your videos on our older boat. Super easy products that have transformed the boat. Heavy cut with microfiber on a DA, then wakeup with an orange pad on the DA, followed by Punch-it. Made our 20 year old black boat shine. It would be great to have a series on what products from Shine Supply to use on campers and how to tackle them. The decals on campers always seem a little more sketchy to use with any powered buffer or DA. They don't seem to be as high quality.

    Thanks for making these. They have really helped. One thing I haven't seen is if you use any different techniques/products for boats that have been Awlgripped. When they painted my hull they told me to only use Awlwash and Awlcare. I get spots from hard well water that I can't completely dry with my squeegee when it's in the water. What would you recommend to remove, polish and protect an Awlgripped boat? I've always used a wool pad on my Dewalt until recently watching your vids about pads.

    I’m very new to boat detailing and cleaning services, we own a luxury cleaning service for commercial residential and now looking to do boats. What would you recommend to price the job by, by ft or by hour? How do you make and set your prices based off the boat. And lastly, do you take payment after a job or require deposit and then final payment or just all up front. We deal with some places not wanting to pay after a job which is why I require a job paid beforehand but I also figure most people getting boat detailing, are wealthier and probably would pay

    Hi Drake, looking into boat cleaning and came across your videos awesome stuff!! Do have one question, we are going to be trailering extensive amounts with boat, wondering if you could elaborate provide advice on removing bugs and road debris from boat from road travel(I'm thinking bugs splattered on tower, etc.). If there is any additional products or if its just good elbow grease and washing with Shift Soap, and if there is any tools. I know bugs/road grim can be tough to handle from cleaning vehicles, I typically use a degreaser for stubborn spots, with boat we would have a ceramic coating.

    • @DrakesDetailing
      @DrakesDetailing  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hey bro! If you plan to trailer the boat, I’d recommend that you do a ceramic coating. The bugs will come off with just a light rinse! However if you just have a sealed/waxed boat, shine supply makes a good big remover. shinesupply.com/products/bug-off

    • @DrakesDetailing
      @DrakesDetailing  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thanks so much, bro! Yes, rangers should be fiberglass so all normal processes should still apply. For an outboard motor, the paint is usually send on those so I would recommend just washing it with regular both soap, and then using a TA polisher to wax it for protectant.
