I think this figure is beautiful and I can't wait for mine. The only thing I think that could've been improved is the box it comes in. I would've preferred a much more heftier and fancier insert with foam padding. Other than that, I think this is a magnificent figure, I'm a huge Sylvester Stallone fan and I can't wait. 💯🔥

Very cool figure! The only disagreement is that Stallone is 5’-9.5 “ and Arnold is 6’-2”. The proportion is a little bit off. But he still a cool figure. I already PO him. I can’t wait to see the upcoming figures and also you review bro! Nice review Justin 👍🏻👍🏻
SS is not 5'9, take is from me. He is taller. I have scanned his body for our figures. Now I don't know AS true height but being next to him 100 times 6'2 is really pushing it. I am going to go with solid 6 foot. So in that case maybe perhaps Terminator was made too small. First Blood is spot on.

How would you rate the ThreeZero Rambo vs this one? I thought that was a pretty good figure.
It is always good to see some 80s nostalgia pieces hit the market. I had to recently pick up an Ash Willams Army of Darkness figure.
Not sure I only just got the three zero one today!
Hard to tell for sure since I don’t have this one in hand, but I do have the ThreeZero version (Rambo III) and the ThreeZero head sculpt looks a little better IMO.
I can’t imagine getting gifted something from Sylvester Stallone, will definitely try and get this figure I’m such a big fan of Rambo and would love to see a Rambo from every movie
Would also love to see more outfits like when he’s in the forest hunting the cops

Me and my older brother had the some of the Rambo toys from the 80's. We had the weapon/roleplay (knives, guns, canteens, compass, walkie talkies) toys too.

I skipped out on the HT Rocky figures because it was early and the company had found it's groove yet...they looked terrible...I am glad I waited because now not only can we get one that does the characters justice but also overseen by the man himself...can't wait to get this pre-ordered it immediately upon the announcement...

An amazing figure,...I love they way they catch the pain and sadness in his eyes,.....you know by looking at him , this ex soldier as been through war and all the horrors it entails.....awesome job

Unfortunately this does not look as good as the ThreeZero Rambo 3 figure, that one is amazing. The paint on this one, on the face just looks like a poor third party attempt. It is nice to have a Rambo in this outfit, if I ignore the head it’s not bad, but the paint reminds me of those third party Henry Cavill Superman heads, ok sculpt but poor paint.
I definitely cannot agree there. The figure looks incredible in person. Rambo 3 is a completely different look and I have that one on the way.

Maybe it’s the bright lights, but the head and hands aren’t working for me. They look a tier below something like a hot toys sculpt. The whiskers looks sharpied on. I guess I’d have to see it in person. Everything else looks top notch though. The materials, weathering and details on the clothing are fantastic. Also, it’s nice to see some creativity in the display base.

( 😉) But I agree with the others - Arnie and Sly the same height?!!! 😳 Hope they eventually get to Apollo and Mr T as well! And Rocky MUST come with Butkus! And if they did a deluxe, a fishtanks with his turtles Cuff & Link!!

it does look fantastic but I already have the 2 Threezero versions and doing the math this one is about 50% more expensive so I can't justify getting this one as well. great review as always Justin.

Hi Justin! Hope you are well. I am in love with this Rambo figure. I'm going to watch the film again tonight and then watch Stranger things part 2. TBH, I can't help but thinking about how incredible Stallone's physique was in this film. I would want to display this figure in a tank top, i don't know if men wear tank tops, but that white sleeveless undershirt or something like that to capture how fit he was in the film. the clothing and the head sculpt seem to capture the endurance that the character had fighting against the whole county. that old set of clothes he wears, which clearly might be part of his old military uniform, looks very good and just like the film. I miss films like this and i'm glad they made this figure. I might pick this one up for myself. thanks for the video :)

I just put my M16A1rifle aside from Chris Taylor figure, to put with this Rambo figure. I think they could add the M16A1 rifle with this figure because he has only a knife nothing more, but for me is not a problem because how I said I have one M16A1 1/6 scale rifle. But you can buy one in ebay there is a lot for sale . The hot toys matrix neo comes with a M16 rifle too.

Yes it is removable. The body is custom made for Sylvester Stallone line of figures.

The body is very detailed but it build in multiple components, to be adapted to each of the release will be made by Sly Stallone Shop. On this Rambo the thorax is the most detailed part because the one more visible, if you search for top details all over the body, I suggest to wait Rocky 4 release.

I bought the Hot Toys version way back. This figure looks good, but since I already own the Hot Toys version I couldn't see myself spending the money for this one. Still looks good though. 😊

Figure looks fantastic and good nod to deanknight333 (great review). Loved this review also and for me, this is a great figure. I know there is some dislike against the sculpt (being sad), but that's rambo. He has a very sad life and I think its certainly a 9/10 figure. Looking forward to rocky, but I am not a fan of topless figures with horrible joints. Rather see a phicen / TB League like body. Like what iconiqstudios have used with Muhammad ali and Ryu. Also hope to see a demolition man. Exciting times for this new company for sure.

I don't know why they insist on putting Rambo's knife sheath on his right leg, like Stallone did on Last Blood, if he always wore it on his left leg.

Technically speaking, this look is accurate for this figure! Throughout the movie it is on his left side, but they're going with the bridge scene look and that's why it's on his right side. Just look at the diorama base and that alone explains where this look is coming from. Remember, Teasle told him put your hands on the car and spread them. While he's patting Rambo down, he locates the knife and sheathe to the right of Rambo's body. After escaping from the police station he has the knife in his right hand, puts it in the middle section of his pants and goes outside where he takes the dirt bike. Throughout the movie he's seen using the knife with both hands. Also, it was the 80's and nothing was thoroughly thought through like it is now 😆.

I already have the excellent Threezero John Rambo from the 3rd film, this one will make an excellent companion piece.
Not only am I excited for a Marion Cobretti figure, but I'm hoping in the future to get Judge Dredd, Deke DeSilva, and a Sly supervised version of Barney Ross.
Also, I know everyone is salivating at the mouth for some 1/6th scale Rocky opponents, but I'd like to see some antagonists from other Sly movies, in particular the Night Slasher (Brian Thompson) from Cobra and Wulfgar (Rutger Hauer) from Nighthawks. Also, would love to get a 1/6th scale figure of Paulie.
By the way, if a Deke DeSilva figure is going to be made, it has to come with a woman's robe, gun in a plastic bag, and a Lindsay Wagner wig. 😄

Speaking of Stallone, both Hot Toys Barney Ross are great looking figures. Although, I have a slight preference for the face sculpt on the first figure.
Also, unlike many people, I prefer Rambo II and III over First Blood. I just feel that in the 3rd film especially, Rambo's at his physical best ( thus my favorite look for the character) and the adventure is grand and epic.

I LOVE Stallone. Love. But the face, mainly the eyes seem too droopy to me. Just a tad off. Your video clarified it a bit because I went to the shop to see it even before you put this video out. It’s a good figure but the eyes…hmmm…
