Hi mate, I’m looking at doing the same thing to my tenere, just a question do the 450 forks just built straight in or do you need a different neck? Or any other mods for them to fit?

Hi buddy, you need to press out the WR stem and press in the tenere one, easily done but make sure its all squared up, the top clamp for the WR needs a retaining spacer making, I made my own as I have axess to some machinery but it can be made by any turning shop, I have the measurements for this, you will also need heavier springs in the forks as the weight is almost double the stock capacity of the WR forks

What's up friend, I have a Crf 450 fork with a 320 mm brake disc, the braking is bad, how did you set up your front brake? Or you also have braking problems, greetings from Chile 🇨🇱

Hi mate, I am not having any problems with the braking at all, with the 320mm disk it is almost as powerful as the dual stock disk, are you sure you don't have an air bubble in your line? And are you also using braided line?

@@HardlyDrivenSon I've already checked it and it's fine the brake pump is new I don't know what my mistake is, what caliper is you using? The brake pump is the original? Greetings

@@jeancarlolotito4042 I am using the original tenere master cylinder, and the wr450 calliper, I fully rebuild the caliper before installing, new piston, seals and pins, and regular brake pads.

I don't understand why people invest in something that is not essential at all on this specific
motorcycle and they will not do the ONE basic simple needed thing....change the rear shock absorber and springs. Nothing else.....you have this... you have that and in final you have nothing. It will not help you to replace the front shock absorbers with something else and at the same time leave the rear ones as it is :D ...I see this all the time wasted money on nonsense but as a result you have not changed anything significantly.

I have replaced the rear spring, the front fork changes everything about this bike off road, the seat hump has now also been taken out to massively improve rider mobility off road, I have had this bike for 10 years now, I love the engine and have modified all of the rest to suit my needs, I also massively enjoy building things, so I don't really get why this has twisted your panties.
