Very nice .❤ I remember hw my mom use to cook this kanji curry by adding the prawns when sauting the onions n another way is by grinding wet kotmir, green chillies ,coconut, haldi powder ,tamarind to make a green curry
Yes, the green curry version is also delicious.. Will try making the green version recipe too and loved the way your mum sautéed the prawn and onions together. Will try it as well. ❤️

This curry is particularly made during the wedding season and in a very large quantity, hence keeping that in mind we made it the traditional way, but it's a personal choice to take the prawn shells off and devein it.😊

Hey Janet, you can skip raw Mango then since it's not always available. You can add extra tamarind or dry mango powder if available.
