All the bells and whistles on a nostalgic ride. But I'm sure his greatest asset is the ol paper logbook. Rookies who have never used one have no idea how good it feels to run how you want and get home early
VOOODOOO first truck I ever drove was an 1984 cabover Freightliner. my dad, and grandfather had one and two other cabovers and a few 1 ton duallys hotshot shot trucks. least on to C&H Transportation
Well in the minute I was watching the front of the truck wash I couldn't help but notice the yellow Jersey barrier to make sure stupid drivers pull all the way out of the building before turning.
It's not that big of a wheelbase, it's comparable to many stock rides, it just looks longer because it is a cabover. Put a normal hood, cab and sleeper on it and you might be 265" wheelbase, pretty standard.
We are regulated to 53' trailers, run the 5th wheel all the way up and it's a terrible ride and heavy on the steers. You European (metre boys) just don't understand yet gotta run your mouths. We don't talk about your shitty trucks because, well, because no one gives two fucks about ugly Volvo and Scania trucks

And kill someone in the process.
That's a bad boy right there!!!! Cold AF . Love the flame's on the trailer. Stretch frame and everything! Love the color combo too. 🔥

Flat roof and two pipes high in the sky !!!! Beautyfull!!!
Unbelievable looking semi trailer. I always thought that shade of blue goes well with the chrome and Alcoas.
Cabovers are still cool. Awesome looking rig
I was lucky enough to drive one for 4 years back in the late 80's
Thats not Luck! You must have pissed off your dispatcher.

Happen to know what length that wheelbase is?

sweet cabby
I don't see many cabover semi trucks out on the roads anymore like I used to back in the day.
Kevin Richards not on the East Coast, see a lot in the mid west
There's still a few on the west coast, but they're still pretty rare to see around here.
Why is the hitch so far back from the cab?
dolphin some use it as a visual likeness but the longer the wheelbase the smoother ride you have.
