That anonimus is impressive. Doesn’t seem like the most ergonomic knife, especially for bushcraft work, but man, is it tough. Between this and the DBK video, I’m super impressed with how tough it is and how well it holds an edge. Benchmade is doing cru-wear right, no doubt about it.
I just got mine. Didn’t test it yet but its awesome knife. Comfortable for me, looks great Sharpest knife I’ve ever had out of the box. Love it Great video
I just received my Anonimus in the mail. I purchased it because I wanted to try the CPM-CruWear alloy & also, because I used the rewards points from my Cabela Card, it was free to me. It will be a thin, light, high quality slicing blade for EDC.
I just want to say I've been shopping at your store for years when I make it down that way. I really like where your taking the youtube channel starting to compete with say BladeHQ and similar companies in the youtube department keep it up.
I've seen a lot of wild things with knives, but I've never seen anyone use a knife to chop bricks. 😁 The capabilities of Cruwear are impressive. I was afraid that with such a high hardness the blade would break from impact loads, but fortunately this did not happen. Now I love my Benchmade Mini Adamas even more.
The Cru wear is tougher but that is to be expected. MagnaCut is going to be better for water resistance and normal cutting task but the Cru Wear stands up better to heavier-duty cutting tasks.
Yeah I agree, open some cans up to see how it holds up, in the bush I would most likely use it to open up cans not so much cutting bricks although that is quite impressive. I know opening up cans can be pretty hard on knives, also may I suggest like some of the comments that you try sharpening it with a field sharpener or strop, this would help in my decision making when I purchase a knife ( I already purchased this blade months ago since I am impressed with cru wear and am now waiting for my survive gso 5.1 in magnacut). First video where we see this steel really get put to the test. I have to admit that the screeching "next" was annoying me but others seem to have enjoyed it. P.s can you make a video so we can see how difficult it would be to resharpen the steel after taking that much abuse?
Opening cans would be like the steel sheets we cut. True you might not find carpet or vinyl in the field but you will find vines and maybe trash to build shelters from and most people are more likely to use these on a job site.
Now that is impressive! Would this be considered a top of the line bushcraft knife? Or is there better? i still don't own a bushcraft blade and i always like to buy the highest quality.
Hello SMKW, Hey TC, with the last sharpness text you used "the Force" just as you were taught! Be safe and take care, "God Bless", sincerely, Randy. 🙏😇👊
Fun testing, great results with that cruwear, NOW, get out that new work sharp pro and bring that bad boy back to less than 200 grams on that bess tester TC, haha.
Why did you clearly score the flooring before hand? You can see its already been scored before you cut it!? I love cruwear, but yea that thing is way to thin of a handle
The tip test and watching you hammer that blade through the brick hurt somewhere deep inside of my heart. It was hard to even watch, but that’s just one knife guy to others. Well done and thank you for destroying yours so I know what mine can handle. Great video overall.
I can’t shake the feeling that the only good Benchmade knife is the Bushcrafter. Most Benchmade knives I’ve seen or owned always have incredibly thin handles, making them uncomfortable to hold. I can’t imagine someone with larger hands finding them comfortable either. All their knives are extremely overpriced for how useless knives they are.

It is tough and may not be made for Bushcrafting but it will stand up to the test of the outdoors 👍
Doesn’t SEEM ergonomic? 😂 you’ve prob never even held one
I just got mine. Didn’t test it yet but its awesome knife. Comfortable for me, looks great Sharpest knife I’ve ever had out of the box. Love it
Great video
Thanks for watching and we hope you put it to good use...maybe be safer than TC lol

Cru ware is the stuff!!
Cru-Wear is sweet!

In about 2 weeks the family and I are coming to wmkw can't wait 😅
If you have never been there, man try and plan a whole day, it is amazing!
Thanks for making us a part of your trip! We are open 10AM-6PM
Great show again! How would you say the Cru did compared to the magnacut on the heretic you did a few months ago?
The Cru wear is tougher but that is to be expected. MagnaCut is going to be better for water resistance and normal cutting task but the Cru Wear stands up better to heavier-duty cutting tasks.

Hello! When will you do the same test with Magnacut?
Great show as usual
Thanks Joey!
That was awesome
Thanks for watching Phil!
Benchmade always do well! The adamas was similar on the edge tester
Does not do
Thanks for watching!
Now that is impressive! Would this be considered a top of the line bushcraft knife? Or is there better? i still don't own a bushcraft blade and i always like to buy the highest quality.
One of our favorite quotes is, "The best knife you own is the one you have with you"
Like how you use the Scab PATENT testing program, it simple , it works
thanks for watching
Love these videos! That Benchmade is Tough!
Thanks for watching Scott!
Would have loved to see how sharp it was before the brick destroyed the edge lol
Ok, TC, have Greg mail that wonderful full knife to me. I will definitely sharpen it and give it a great home!😊👍
GAW huh...sounds like a good idea
Brother your PM3 was 190 where does that sit on the scale . 👊🏼
190 hits on "utility blade" to "High end cutlery"

Thanks for watching Randy!
The star wars helmet is hilarious
Is that where that is from...🤣
Adamas fixed and folding next???
Thanks for watching and for the suggestion
That's a sharp factory edge! Is that model BM's standard or the newer Select Edge?
Love the Anominous, not sure why they call it a bushcraft knife though. I definitely need one of those helmets for sure.
Thanks for watching James!
Don't fancy trying this on my para 3 cruwear 😮
We are sure the Para 3 would do well but we would hate to do it
Fun testing, great results with that cruwear, NOW, get out that new work sharp pro and bring that bad boy back to less than 200 grams on that bess tester TC, haha.
TC has been having a ton of fun with the WorkSharp and the tester 🤣
@@SMKWcom, haha, that's what I figured and mentioned it, great toys.
SMKW is going to stock light sabers!
NEeeEXT! I laughed every damn time lol
TC still randomly will yell next thru the whole store
Why did you clearly score the flooring before hand? You can see its already been scored before you cut it!? I love cruwear, but yea that thing is way to thin of a handle
You are giving us way WAY to much credit if you think we so any extra work to any of this lol
Sacrilege! I tell you, Sacrilege. This was so painful to watch, but I think I want one of those knives.
If it can stand up to TC you know it can stand up to every day trail and camp jobs
HAS TO KEEP THE “NEXT!” from now on
Please no...he is so loud already
The tip test and watching you hammer that blade through the brick hurt somewhere deep inside of my heart. It was hard to even watch, but that’s just one knife guy to others. Well done and thank you for destroying yours so I know what mine can handle. Great video overall.
Thanks for watching! We love doing these because for we get to do al things we normally would get in trouble for lol
But will it keel?
What you use it for is up to you, we just show what it will cut 🤣
Time to strop that P3!🤣
Just saying those would make phenomenal GAW knives!!! Jus sayin….?
We can't GAW the brick we need it for the next...oh you meant the knife...we could do that lol
Very cool! The Cru-Wear Blade Steel is that sharp. Just think you can shave a frog! Awesome video
Finer than frog hair spit four ways
Missed opportunity, quick strop, then test it again!🤔
Thanks for watching Alpine!
Sold
It stood up to all the task TC threw at it!
9mins of NEEEXT! And I couldn't take it anymore I had to leave. Help the video was good for the rest of you.
Thanks for lasting that long! We try to have fun with it but if need be feel free to mute TC...we do not have that option in real life
Send in the clones!
NEXT!
Red five standing by.
IYKYK
Where's the 70's shag carpet? 🤔
Left in the back of our highschool van
Thats not a bushcraft knife..thats a stealth combat cqb sharp stick..
And we shall refer to all knives as sharp sicks for the rest of the day
A brick🤯😂😂
So you basically have the best job in the world, don’t you?
Yep! And we are grateful to the knife community everyday for letting us do this as work 👍
open a can of beans
Safety first(Never get bloody cut towards your buddy). I learned that in the boy scouts.
Greg yells Scout rules all the time around here

Why. Why abuse a perfect knife!?!?
Because we get to sharpen it and bring it back as well!
Oh man that brick cutting was a sin
It always makes us cringe a bit but many of the blades take it on no problem!
Nice knife but overpriced for sure.
thanks for watching
Hahahaha overpriced? 😂
Awesome 👌 😂
May the schwartz be with you!
Nah he got the upside, i got the downside. See, there's two sides to every schwartz.
😂
