These niches are oversaturated and underpriced because all of these people coming with AI and not bringing any value to a customer anymore. So even market leaders running-70% discounts daily and not have such a revenue (this is not shown in these „nice“ analytical programs). It doesn’t make sense to spend several hours or days to create a product, price it under 1$ and hope it’s gonna scale enough to get enough money from it. It will not happen this way. You need a proper marketing and a rare idea. Even a kid can make all these digital downloads, it is an insane competition, not a 10.000 a month business idea. I saw a market leader in planners who get most of sales on the market but with all her discounts she barely makes 1.000 a month 😬 so what I mean - good idea (not too popular) + good execution (quality over quantity) + right pricing + marketing = success. Tools can only help but to rely on them as a business model „get reach quick“ is a waste of time 🥺

What if you want to sell multiple types of products, e.g. mugs, digital products and print-on-demand posters: should you open a separate shop for each type? I think you should always focus on 1 niche.
Best to focus on one niche (product type or specific target customer)

the funds of one of my orders have been set aside because I have not given the tracking number, will this impact on traffic and seo ?
It shouldn’t impact those areas but definitely good to give tracking number if it’s a physical product that’s being shipped (listings set up as digital shouldn’t need it since there is no tracking number).

Kate I appreciate your video but selling digital products isn't working for me on etsy. I get a lot of views but no one is buying it. I spend days and sometimes nights creating my templates.

@KateHayes thank you, I tried planners, ebooks, educational, you name it. Different shops, all the same thing happened, lots of views and not even the $1 things sell. Now I tried PLR, and I'm not holding my breath, lol.
Nothing good comes easy
Definitely have to be intentional but using certain tools can definitely make the process quicker and easier :)

@@Breezy1love11 it's really not. When you're in the trenches with it especially with ecom you'll quickly realize nothing is as easy as these TH-camrs lead you to believe. The idea is easy, that's what they're selling you.
The build up is slow and tedious like anything worthwhile when making money. You'll save a lot of frustration with tempering expectations.
Once you're there though, scaling is a different story
@@Breezy1love11 not sure where my comment went.. but its really not. Get your hands dirty with this stuff and I promise you its a lot more work than led to believe. Thats not to say it isn't worth it in the end. But don't throw a couple "easy digital products" on etsy and expect to make anything overnight.
If you believe that you will manifest that. That's an old believe we should leave behind already.
