Lol she is constantly asking me to tell her that she is my favourite (never happens), so these are a chance to have a dig.The digital maps can be rough you are right, hours of flying and not sleeping to find out you are not past Hawaii yet.
This brings back so many memories. I made this same journey from Australia to the US to be with my man. I ended up living there for almost 20 years, and then I brought my sweetie out here to Australia to live. Just know there will be an adjustment, but that is okay. It took me about 2 years before I truly acclimated to my new home. Unlike my American hubby who felt right at home almost instantly in Australia. Americans are going to love you(they are lovely people) and for some odd reason really enjoy our accent. It can be stressful waiting to hear back from govt officials whilst wanting more than anything to be with your loved one, but it will happen. If you go to the American consulate for an interview, make sure you give them exactly what they ask for. Good luck with it all!
Thank you, it is very stressful that is for sure. I finally have the interview booked in a couple months time, about 2 years after our application went in and the same 2 years since we have seen each other in person. I can be really hard with just video calls, although I am glad we at least get those. Hopefully in a few months I will put a video together about it all, but while still waiting that is a bit too much at the moment. Already putting together the documents that they require at the consulate to make certain that we have it all in place. Again a big thank you for the well wishes.

I know you hate it - but I absolutely LOVE flying! I should have been a pilot (but they won't let me have a goat as my co-pilot - LOL) So glad you were able to come, it was fantastic seeing you :)
Lol I hate about every part of flying apart from the views, take off and landing I film to keep myself calm, the actual flying not to bad but it hurts the old body to sit that still for so long. Always great to catch up with family 🥰
Such a long flight! Glad you made both ways safely! That 4 hours is that mostly over water 😮? Wow I didn’t realize you had to take 3 flights! How many fights will you have to take until you are here for good?
I don't worry about the over water part, for me it is the up, the down and the pain of and old body crammed in a seat for 14 1/2 hours. Love the views and love getting there. Unfortunately no more holidays until we find out about the Visa , it just gets way too expensive going back and forward. This year my holiday time will be all about improving skills that I need to work on.
Hey Mate, I am back already unfortunately. Though almost 3 weeks long the trip was very Hectic, running around the whole time I was there. I actually had a Houston lay over on the way home but all the layovers were to short to even go outside.
