when stabbing someone just isn't enough you want to just totally ruin their day by giving them the farts, very sad times we live in.
Actually, that'd freeze the surrounding area around the stab wound, and allow it to snap like glass.
lol,if you thinks so but I can assure you this isnt freezing shit like you said
he probably saw it on Facebook
Its made for Sharks dumbass
Imagine if Leo had that knife in The Revenant. That bear would have been so fucked.
+Dan Lundberg hhahahahahhahahahahahaha
+Dan Lundberg KAPOOYAH
I just finished watching that movie 20 minutes ago and it was Awesome!! When that bear attacked him I thought it was a twist where the main character was gonna die in the beginning of the movie, that bear messed him up real bad.
the story of Hugh glass is very interesting you should read about it!
The bear died idiot
W- watermelon
A- air
S- syringe
P- program
up to the top you go sir
.
paul pohta lel
air syringe program wtf?
I'm pretty pro gun but this shit is crazy
Cool, this is a knife
oh, only pretty pro gun? not Really pro gun? not absolutely pro gun? lol
I’m all for both lmao
You should see what it does to balistics gel, would be really interesting to see.
I plan to
Ooof
My gosh man! If the stab or the initial air blast doesn't kill you the air in the blood stream will make sure the guy is dead in minutes. Bad Ass
It was originally designed for diving and defending against shark attacks, but yes you are VERY RIGHT Grizz
I think this is CO2 though...
***** I just learned something new then:)
*****
I bet you believe an air bubble in an IV line will stop your heart instantly don't you?
Educate me on IV's please lol. Most patients will stare at the IV line and watch the airbubbles like they will somehow kill them if they make it past the vent. It would take more than an entire IV bag of air to even start to harm a human. True story: Man falls on hydraulic air-line. Fills himself with air. The only damage was tissue separations.
I think the making of this knife was inspired by dig dug
slycat YESSSSSSS!!!!!
+slycat Attach this to a rope and your good!
Hahahahaha
sly
Under rated comment
Wow, that was crazy! Let's just hope those knifes never end up in the wrong hands on the street or something.
I really agree with "mein kamphychair" about testing it on ballistics gel :)
am I the only one disappointed this didn't shoot out wasps?
Livlos someone make this happen
Livlos if it makes you feel better I imagined it actually using the poison from a wasp not a CO2 cartridge
I remember reading about something similar for self defense a few years ago, it was an injector with an inch long spike that if a person was attempting to attack or rape you, you jammed it into there body and it would inject a bunch of air into the chest cavity, it was supposedly non-lethal but highly painful, not sure about that whole non lethality part after seeing this video though, i also don't imagine it being very hard to build this or something similar if you know a bit about tools and possibly cnc machining.
"Injection knive vs __" would have been a good series
It's meant for sharks
originally
GY6vids You are a sad person!
Pythagoras211 that watermelon was already dead so it's okay... (seriously it wasn't an animal, chill)
I think it was designed for suba divers years ago
I believe you are right.
G-man R-man
this: the pressure means a lot more when you are deep underwater, the bubble it would create inside flesh would cause a much more violent cavitation, killing or mortally wounding an attacker like a shark or a seal
Mike Hawk I've been diving for 40 yrs now . I remember when it first hit the market ,Gerry
Uri Thraburn actually the deeper you are the less damage you would do ambient pressure increases as depth increases which means the differential pressure would decrease the deeper you went.
You should try and hook it up to a paintball air tank, maybe have it on the end of a staff with tanks in a backpack. That would be badass!
Try it against ballistic gel
Used by divers to fend off predators.
and by hunters for finishing Hogs.
I didn't know there was such a thing, but came upon a reference to one in a Patricia Cornwell book "Red MIst". I'm sure she wasn't referring to watermelon juice, but to blood!
am i the only one who thinks he looks like chris redfield?
haha well thank you.
GY6vids swear bro you look liike chris, you sure you don't punch boulders for fun man? (RE-6)
lol
i swear man. he looks like Chris Redfield
***** Chris Redfield The buff ass dude in Resident Evil 5 who punched a boulder
you stab someone wearing this knife and press the button, you better be wearing full rain gear and a face shield lol.
That would be awesome if it was liquid nitrogen instead of CO2
John Smith OR ACID !! OR MERCURY !!
+georges lalio would take longer, and the guy prob could communicate to others that they are attacking
NovaPhoenix 107 I don't know i tried to imagine something deadly.
+John Smith You could probably do that.
+John Smith Hey you guyyyyys.
This knife gets the 'Dig Dug Seal of Approval'.
You need to show it's pressure released in a aquarium to show the exit pressure better. Then blow up everything. Keep up the great vids.
Let Zombiegoboom test this out on their Ivan heads! :)
For those wondering, these are intended for use by divers in case of shark attacks.
I'd like to see that done in some ballistics gell.
Deal
GY6vids Where can I buy one?
I don;t know how I found this video.
BUT THIS IS THE MOST COOLEST THING I HAVE EVER SEEN!
is that a shirt for sing language? the way the hand is shaped is an "M" in american sing language :D
YEP!
GY6vids awesome!
"Nice and *tight*" "BAM" "Now we are ready to rock and roll"...
LOL how to wear watermelon in one quick lesson. Great video, thank you for posting.
Try to do it with ballistic gel
Coming Soon!
K
GY6vids can't wait if this makes a nice cavity wound it be great
Ryan Conlow Video will be made to show what it does....STAY TUNED
GY6vids Come on! Get it done already! :)
So..... we still haven't seen Sonya's fatality in MKX yet. Who wants to see her demonstrate this on Kano's skull?
Designed for scuba divers when they encounter a shark attack. The inventor said the co2 tank will cause the shark to rise then the air bubble will pop causing the Sharks death.
A tactical knife?? No. More like dive knife.
They market it as a tactical knife as well....but I guess you know everything
Its for divers for sharks etc the air (gas) it expands under water once inside shark or whatever which makes it float then once it expands enough eventually shark or whatever will blow
Finally a decent review about this knife!!!! Thanks man!!! I've been searching for a legit review about this awesome knife I'm planning to buy. Love the video man thanks again!
Glad you enjoyed it
I for sure did man
That is probably banned in war since it is not a humane type of weapon.
Jens Moeguitarist Actually they do. it is mainly the gerilla fighters mostly from the middle east who break the war laws. That is one of the main reasons there is war there.
No weapon is humane
CGKBettz3 I was about to say the same thing..
CGKBettz3
If kills quickly and without pain - humanity. Not that the United States in Hiroshima
CGKBettz3
Some are more then others I'd rather be shot with normal shotgun loads rather then a flechette which will kill you slowly and painfully or fucking dragons breath and be set on fire. I'd also rather be shot then burned alive with a flame thrower and thats why they are now banned in war.
Insert N2O cartridge instead, add a waterproof sparking mechanism to the knife that sparks after payload has been delivered. :D
WTF
It was a knife designed for self defense under water against sharks when diving. It would create a air pocket which will make the shark float to the surface, at that point the shark will rupture and die
disgusting waepon. air pressure accidents are cruel an extremely painfully.
I don't like that combination.
I don't think you have a grasp on how the body works, or else you wouldn't be saying that.
i produce that capsule for other devices... and you say i have no grasp how it works? i have see 2 air pressure accidents live on my workplace. 1 time a a shoulder and hand was blowup double size and it was realy painfull for the workers. im sure you have your knowledge just from wikipedia and youtube. but i work with high air pressure.. go to mama and talk to her.
Air embolisms are also a pretty fucking nasty painful way to die.
+Michael Mabon against sharks it's useful besides sharks does not have soul :v
If it outright kills someone rather than leaving a 2+ inch stab wound I'd say it's more humane
it's for scuba divers to defend against sharks and other predators, the air inj kills fast and also makes them float away from you
Idea!! Same wasp but have little holes through out the blade and have them covered with small metal lead balls? Epic win!
Isn't the idea its a divers knife if you stab a shark that's attacking you the air will make it float to the surface?
nope... its head fucking explodes!! seriously did you see the watermelons?! kabooooom!!!!
Yes, that is part of it. I was reading about it and it said that the knife does do the damage in the video, but also freezes tissues around it and creates a bubble inside, floating the shark to the surface, dead or alive. This would also get the blood away from the diver in case there are other sharks around.
***** Really??? A little CO2 cartridge would make a shark float to the surface? Thought even a divers bottle would struggle to keep a shark afloat!
That is what the article on the knife's website said. It is a lot of gas being put into it though. I will try to link the website, but right now it is being unresponsive.
Lola Lilly you have to remember most sharks aren't enormous either, reef sharks are vicious little bastards and they don't get that big...
I remember seeing an episode of Law and Order: SVU where someone killed a rapist with one of these things. I was skeptical about whether these knives were a real thing or not, but DAMN, that's cool!
That is pretty cool, Basically it will not only help disembowel your threat but the knife will move around easier. Not to sure about the whole scuba diver thing but I'll look. Gotta see how much it is. Hold on.....Yea hold on! 499,99 at your local gun store or knife specialty store. 499.99....I think a regular military type knife will do for me at like 79.99.
Coolest thing I have seen in months never heard of this! And that would make soup of your internals
when he does it without the melon it looks like a rocket boost for the knife
Be awesome if the handle was filled with explosives. You throw it, it sticks in something, you run back and quickly turn around and shoot it! I would love to see you try that!!! :)
It is used to kill sharks it's an underwater tactical knife I've read about it it's used for divers to kill any shark if they get close to you
Only suggestion to creator would be to move the hole to the spine of the knife so I doesn't catch on flesh and would probably push down creating a larger wound
I shared this vid, I am surprised there isn't more views on alot of these cool vids
These knives are used commonly by divers as a protective weapon against an aggressive shark.
That is one crazy knife lol
now that's some cool ass MI 6 shit
"but gy6.. where can i get if i want to has one?" (trying to queue you in for a plug breh)
My boyfriend and I watch you all the time. We both sign! Nice shirt!
hahaha Glad you noticed it!
I bet this could be a really useful kitchen tool.
This product was actually made for protecting divers against sharks. But I guess it's a good watermelon cutter too!
i like how he says jam this into something, but youtube captions say jam this into somebody.....
youtube know what that knifes really about lol 2.06
Who would've thought that "AIR" would assist in being a deadly weapon!!
* reads title * oh Zander what have you done this time...
Sure, I thought it would be a spring loaded knife that would launch, but this is even more gruesome... WOW!
Oh my god he's got a ballistics knife!
I heard about this knife in a manga and I was really surprised when I heard that there was a knife like this.
how did I get from Buzzfeed to here, I will never know XD
But this is fun to watch
I'm pretty sure divers use those for defense against sharks and stuff. Also, there is a Law and Order SVU episode where someone gets kill with one of those.
"Snyder: These cartridges expired six months ago!"
N ICE YOUR FRUIT KILLIN SKILLS ARE REMARKABLE!
I can think of absolutely no reason why but I have to get one of those
You should get an ivan head from zombie go boom and do a vid of using the knife on that. That would be amazing
I could be wrong but I believe the idea was to not only destroy tissue with the expanding gasses but to also freeze it.
No it was designed for diving and defending against shark attacks...but also can and has been used against TWO LEGGED assholes as well.
The hand in your tshirt looks like was playing with knives too much
you almost lost your fingers the first time! Jesus that thing is cool, never seen anything like that.
knife that goes boom.. off the chain wow
this thing is the pump from dig dug
Love the vids man! Keep 'em up!
Thank you! I will
Why does this exist? In a fight you want to step into distance, thrust and step out again as fast as possible. Having to press a button and wait for the gas to release just means you spend longer in range for an opponent to counterattack. Additionally, the placement of the button make it useless as a general purpose knife because you can't place your thumb on the spine for leverage and control. The gas system makes it less effective both as a tool and as a weapon. Don't waste your time and money on gimmicky junk like this.
It's meant for hunting and protection from predators underwater
***** That's not what I'm saying. Stop straw man-ing, it doesn't help your case to put words in someone's mouth. I'm saying that is is less optimal as a self defense weapon and as a tool than a regular knife. Sure you can stab someone and push a button, but you are placing yourself at unnecessary risk to do so in comparison to a traditional thrust-and-retreat. And that's assuming you have the presence of mind to do so under stress and the gas canister hasn't already leaked or been discharged.
As for hunting, no, you should be thrusting into, then drawing across the throat to cut as many blood vessels as possible, not stabbing randomly and trying to blow holes in the animal. As a dive knife it still fails because lines, nets and other entanglement hazards are a way bigger and more common risk than marine predators. I want a knife that isn't going to go off in my hand and cause me to drop it because I accidentally put my thumb on the button while cutting some discarded fishing line that got wrapped around my BA.
This is for hunting. Why do people always think knives are for killing one another? Maybe you should re think your logic.
Antonio Zamora Because that's the way it's presented in this video. Stuff like "that would hurt" places it in that context because your objective in hunting isn't to make it hurt, it's to kill as quickly and with as little pain as possible. In self defense on the other hand, pain compliance is a valid tactic.
***** You really weren't paying attention to his comment were you "Boy". The thing he is obviously trying to explain to the OTHER guy is that it's made for hunting, not to hurt people. And if I may say it is originally a diving knife used of underwater predators such as sharks. You stab it in, and click the button, then CO2 fills the predator and freezing the wound making it float up before it finally thaws. So sharks, will be attracted to the predator above you, instead of around you, like a regular knife would.
Again an awesome video man!
Your videos are the best! Keep it up!
Thank you Nate
Oh man you got to try that on a cadaver. Just imagine the fun.
holy hell that thing is 95 N.A.S.T.Y! (W.A.S.P.) reference
i wonder if you factor the pure c02 being injected via say a penetration wound,if the co2 would/could enter the blood stream causing greater lethality (aside the fact it'd probably bleed you out before than lol)
Stab it into some ballistics gel, but underwater to demonstrate the knives' true purpose?
just might have to do that....thanks for a good idea
GY6vids Or a piece of meat
GY6vids And where did you get the knife?
Imagine getting stabbed by that man
I need this for my schoolmates
that knife is mostly used for shark defense
im interested if the belt holder has safety for the button .. it wouldnt be nice if accidentally the button is pressed while it is loaded
It's not a "tactical" knife (which is a silly term). It's a dive knife. For use against sharks while scuba diving.
well you might want to tell WASP themselves, because they even list it as one. So instead of being a couch critic, do some research.
It started off as a dive knife, and now it is advertised as a "Tactical knife", hunting knife, and dive knife.
I kinda wanna see this done again except this time compress the warermelon to a point where it cant crack
I'm morbidly curious on how this could be used for self defense
honest question. using against animals: would the meat for eating be fucked up because of this?
originally intended for divers as a form of defense against sharks
as always, great vid ! have you ever thinked about doing a review of the famas riffle ?
Been trying to find one
Thanks loving it so far.
I don't know, this seems like a waste of resources when you can already kill in one cut with a regular knife, also, I don't think this would be able to crack open the human body at anything below surface level wounds. It would sure do some nasty internal damage though.
Anyone who thought it was a ballistic knife isn't a gamer dude.
They should add a crossguard so the knife doesn't come back and hit you in the head :D Since its meant for scuba it doesn't matter though
I thought the watermelon was going to explode so it was a kinda jump scare for me when you hit the button
They should add THOSE in games.
Basicly the most expensive way to split a watermelon in half
