I know I'll get questions about the paint used so here are some links to the colors of paint and kinds of paint I used in this video!

Chalk paint- I used the Chiffon Cream Chalk paint by Rustoleum. You CAN buy from amazon, however I get my chalk paint for just $9 at ACE! Home depot charges $17, so if you can find an ACE in your area, they have a bigger variety of colors and its so much more affordable!
Greenish/tan paint: This is Milk Paint purchased from Sweet Pickins in the color "Proper."

You have to order online (unless you live in Magna Utah to pick up). Mlik paint comes in powder form, and you mix equal parts power + Warm water. If you want a smooth surface, you'll also want to mix equal parts Extra bond - www.sweetpickinsfurniture.com...
Otherwise it will be extremely chippy (which is a look I usually go for, but for my dresser and some other things, I wanted it smooth.)

I have a set of the gold votive wall sconces, my mother sold Home Interior years ago and got me a set. I even have the original amber votive cups that came with them. Lol. I have them in storage because I've been doing farmhouse decor for years. Now I got to go find them and paint them white! You so rock!

I love the color proper in the milk paint. Waverly brand paint at Wal-Mart has a color very similar to that called Mineral. It comes in semi gloss or matte chalk paint. Very affordable. I painted my coffee table and end tables and a cabinet in it. Turned out great. I also painted my dining room table in Waverly paint. I get lots of complaints on them. Beautiful color.

FYI--Rust-Oleum Ultra 2 in satin Espresso is the perfect color to make thrift store bunnies look like real chocolate bunnies. Just did mine last night & was thrilled w the out come. Thought I'd share :-)

Awesome haul and makeover! I have to try chiffon cream! I've been using Rust-Oleum Chalked Paint in Linen White. I want something a little less stark for my dining room chairs. All your pieces turned out great!

I’ve got 4 of the gas cans. I’ll eventually sell 2 of them on FB store.
I’ve got one that has old gas in it yet it is perfectly chipped & is still a perfect brighter red. The other one I’ll be keeping was my husbands Great-grandfathers & has our last name scratched into each side & the red & is faded but not to badly faded. I also was thinking of putting one on the front or back porch yet not sure how to tie it in with what I’ve got. I’ve got a really old tool box that also was his great grandfather‘s so I figured that would go along with the gas can yet it’s still all need something else so I’m dying to see what you do. Keep the videos coming. Love them!
Love your videos…just a little warning with the gas can if you leave it inside just keep it open a little to prevent fumes from building up. Keep posting these videos giving so many ideas!!

In regards to the gas can, I see I am not the only one... I found an old industrial trash can with step raising lid ... an old red... sitting in my kitchen/dining area...👍🏻😁🌸

Lou Bolton I found a few almost identical on eBay for $80-$100! Sometimes I’ll hurry and do a quick search while I’m at the thrift store if I find an item I think may be worth money! So that’s always smart to do if you’re questioning if it’s worth the price! And I’ll probably list the sconces for $12-$15!!

On the gold fancy mirrors that you painted white, did you destress for the gold to come through or did you put another base coat over the gold. Everything looked amazing.

I feel anything wood, you should sand first!! The paint will stick and wear better!!

Oh I know girl me too, that’s why I love love love chalk paint! I tried it for the first time a year ago on our dining table and the paint has held up so well! no chipping at all!!💕
And can you also wipe it.. with chalk paint when using on a table or anything is it safe to wash or wipe?
