So there are silicone bead molds on Amazon & you just buy some DAZ clay, press it into the mold (dust the mold first with cornstarch so clay doesn't stick), use a putty knife to remove excess clay from top, then remove the beading from the mold (just flip the mold upside down). Let it dry for about 5 minutes so it will be easy to handle then glue it to any surface. Very easy to do. You can use that method with any silicone mold you find and it is way fun to add some extra flare to craft projects.
Absolutely love everything but the candle sticks with the wooden beads were my favorite such a good idea putting the spackling on the beads thank you so much for the inspiration God bless
hi, we can provide you sample of 48ft RGB string lights, perfect decoration for outdoor patio, balcony or backyard lighting, please contact us if you need it, thanks
First time viewer! You did a terrific job on your thrift store items. I loved them all but I would have to the wood wall scones were my favorite . Will be watching again!
I confess, the wooden candlesticks had me agast at first because I didn't see where you were going with it. They turned out LOVELY! Adding the beads and spackle detail did look like a hand carving. Excellent idea and results!!! 👍
The finishing wax changed the look of all the projects to make them look so rich and expensive. I loved them all. I will definitely will use the wax. My favorite was the balls and the wall sconces.
We had a very small laundry closet near our kitchen and my husband was able to move the washer and dryer to the garage and transform that little closet into a pantry and it has been a game changer for our family of 6
Ahhh…The Joy of creation. It is the meaning of life, I believe, is to live our lives through out personal creations, whatever that may be. So good for the soul., You are a sweetheart and your voice is so gentle and calming. All your jobs are beautiful congratulations and thank you. Sweet girl.
Just wait your great grandkids are going to take great grandma's candle sticks in to an antique auction and find out they aren't worth thousands. Lol, it's what was going through my mind the whole time.
Yes. I'm in my late 60s and I go to the thrift stores often to get materials and things for sewing projects. I am baffled and surprised at the number of people my age and older who are scouring for sets of dishes and pots and pans and little trinket bells and little decorative figurines and all this kind of nonsense that they don't need at this age they just are bored with themselves and they go shopping for all this craziness that their kids then are going to have to get rid of because that's exactly what I did with my mother's stuff
My proud Hermana, let me gladly say this many times a day, because its about respect and pride something ALL people should feel and have, and for me that is that I am proud to be Puerto Rican and part of the Latino community an American and a caring human being, and also proud to watch your videos, and this tells me that it's ok to be proud of more then one thing in life, and that it's cool to care because (WE ALL MATTER)!!! so again mi hermana...Gracia's for adding to my pride and Joy...Stay strong, safe and cool, my sister...GERALD SALGADO...Baltimore md
Wow! Those condleholder sconces came out simply stunning. I think it's a testament to how you take your time and really pay attention to detail. Your work is always focused on quality and never rushed or sloppy. I really, really, really love the thrif flip videos and hope you'll do more. I'm so over the whole Dollar-Tree craze and feel like these thrift-based projects are better for our environment (reusing and recycling versus buying more plastic and sub par quality plastics), and will remain unique, valued decor pieces in our homes for much longer. Thank you, Yami, for sharing your talent and creativity with us!
I will ALWAYS click on a good thrift flip! Please do more. I like them because nobody will find items exactly like yours, but I can still use your principles of design and style on a similar item I find locally. It kinda forces me to be a little more creative instead of just crafty.
I loved every single piece. Thank you so much for sharing. I’m a big thrifter and love recycling pieces and giving them a new life. Saving the world one item at a time lol 😂
Love your work! Most of all I love how you remain yourself in the sense that you do not take that unbearable intonation that many that do DIY are using. Beautiful voice and beautiful projects. Thank you!
I love all of the but, the wooden sconces has to be my favorite. You have the best thrift store finds. Can't wait to see what coming on next. Thanks for sharing.
Those candlesticks with the beads are MY FAVE!!!!! The sconces are so beautiful too!!! You’re so talented and it’s so obvious the meticulous care you take to do things right!
You do EXTREMELY Quality work ......the extra step you go shows in your work ......this is my first time catching your channel but I’ll definitely be keeping your projects on my radar !! Way to go !! 🥰
Hi, I’ve loved each of these thrift find makeovers. But I have to agree with you the wall sconces are so beautiful. Where you added the beads and spackle, gave them a totally different look, that looked like it had been there forever. TYFS, and you and you family stay safe. 💐💐💐💐💐💐
I love how you used spackle to make the beads look like they were carved into the piece rather that just beads that were plunked onto it as an afterthought. I will definitely be using this technique in the future!!!
I cringed when she spray painted that vase. I was just watching another channel where the person said they were highly sought after now in the color purple.
Everything is absolutely gorgeous Yami! If I had to pick a fav...the candlesticks w/the beaded accents. The time and attention you paid to the “little” details, shine through❤️
I loved the transformation of the purple vase. The wooden candlesticks with beads was so creative! Imagination I do not have. No, seriously! Just a suggestion: Post of photo of completed projects for the cover.
I love all your crafting and designs ideas and creations. What I like most about you is that you constantly think outside of the box. You and hubby have taken on some huge renovations and to do this with young kids is nothing more than amazing. When it comes to making your pantry and coat closet, I say, do it. I can’t imagine not having a coat closet in my main floor. Everything is going to turn out awesome just like you and your beautiful family.
I know what you mean about cringing when someone repurposes projects. But I love what you did with the candle holders. I also love the balls with the two ropes, they look awesome.
I almost cried when you painted over that purple vase!

Enjoyed each project! Very impressive, especially the beads on candles!
I liked everything but I think the sconces were my favorite! Nicely done!
Thanks so much 😊
REALLY like the short candle sticks with the beads and putty, it makes it looks so much older with the details. Fabulous!
First time viewer! You did a terrific job on your thrift store items. I loved them all but I would have to the wood wall scones were my favorite . Will be watching again!
Once I saw that spackle I said, "Ooh, she's a genius." Very clever.
I really like the blue that you used for the tray transformation
I wasn’t sure about about the candlesticks, but when you went in with the sparkle: wow!
Just watch your video for the first time. Loved the beaded candlesticks!
It is so hard to pick a favorite - so I’ll just say - they all turned out great.
I like that mirror I see on wall behind you! I want to do something like that or faux window look.
I confess, the wooden candlesticks had me agast at first because I didn't see where you were going with it. They turned out LOVELY! Adding the beads and spackle detail did look like a hand carving. Excellent idea and results!!! 👍

Candlesticks look great, love the addition of the beads!
Loved the candle sticks!

Loved the candlesticks with the wooden beads.
As your video progressed I kept thinking “this is my favorite...no, no this is my favorite.” They were all my favorite. You did a lovely job, Yami!
Same here ☺️

The print in the tray was a Cheri Blum print, Orchids. She painted a lot of Tuscan style florals. I have a large collection.
I liked that little flower print on the tray! 🥺
Love the idea of going to a thrift store or Homegoods and giving it a total look 🥰
These are all gorgeous 💜

The candle holders!!👍🐕🏳️🌈🙏
I would not ever buy those elements separately and hated it, until I saw your vision coming to life!! Thanks! Inspiration...
Loved the wall candle holders and the candlesticks, all of them. I want them all.
You've inspired to start looking for things like that. Thank you.

Love the candlesticks and the framed wreath!!
Both sets of candlesticks my absolute favorite.
Loved everything, but I have a weakness for candle sticks. Your’s melted my heart!! ❤️ Beautiful transformation and great tutorial. 👍🏼
With each DIY I was more impressed. I decided the last one was my favorite. A unique change for a common glass picture frame.
Awesome! Thank you so much! And there are so many of those frames at thrift stores too!

I have a couple plates in pink depression glass.

The flips turned out great. They're so polished and chic.
Gorgeous make overs soft and pleasing to the eye ☺️
My favorite was the wall sconces. I loved the way you distressed them.
Everything is beautiful. Those last scones are from Home Interior, the reason I know is because I have the same exact ones LOL.

Belíssimo!👍❤

I have question, what is the function of the wax applied to the tray?
@@rubiorozco1369 It seals the chalk paint.
I can't pick a favorite bc I loved all of them, especially the candlesticks with the beads. That was genious.
My favorite is definitely the reason the frame. It’s so simple but it’s so beautiful. Thanks for sharing
Oh my goodness, all of these projects turned out so pretty! There is no way to pick a favorite.
The vase was my favorite one, it had such a classic look!

Those candle sticks were AMAZING!! I admire your patience and diligence!
All the projects turned out beautiful. I was amazed at you painting the sides of the tray without it getting onto the bottom.
Awesome ideas! Makes me cringe that I’ve taken so much stuff to goodwill!
Love the last one. The little wreath on the frame.
I really like the two tone rope balls.
The vase is beautiful, good for mili uses

I have a waterfall dresser, thank you for the idea of separating the drawers. May just use both side by side, love the deep drawers.
