- I'm SO excited to share this video with you guys today! One of my favorite things to do in life is to find items someone else thought were trash, and turn them into something beautiful! So if you guys are into watching these kinds of videos, I would be HAPPPPPY to continue sharing more of them in the future!
I know I'll get questions about the paint used so here are some links to the colors of paint and kinds of paint I used in this video!

Chalk paint- I used the Chiffon Cream Chalk paint by Rustoleum. You CAN buy from amazon, however I get my chalk paint for just $9 at ACE! Home depot charges $17, so if you can find an ACE in your area, they have a bigger variety of colors and its so much more affordable!
Greenish/tan paint: This is Milk Paint purchased from Sweet Pickins in the color "Proper."

You have to order online (unless you live in Magna Utah to pick up). Mlik paint comes in powder form, and you mix equal parts power + Warm water. If you want a smooth surface, you'll also want to mix equal parts Extra bond - www.sweetpickinsfurniture.com...
Otherwise it will be extremely chippy (which is a look I usually go for, but for my dresser and some other things, I wanted it smooth.)

We are an ADVENTUROUS family of 6 who lost our son to SIDS in 2014. Our biggest regret was not having family videos of him when he was here and is why we started doing daily vlogs!
Thomas is a 2X North American Champion in his kick-boxing career and Ashley loves to share her creativity through DIY's and other budget friendly projects.
Together we have 6 year old Identical twins- Simon & Cohen.
Our son Miloh was born 12/12/13 and passed away 5/20/14.
We were blessed with our Rainbow baby (and 4th son) Ezrah this year on 03/02/17 and we have loved sharing our every day journey with our followers and are looking forward to where this journey takes us!

It is very cool that a collection of random objects, when painted in compatible colors, work so well together.

Savers have definitely raised their prices over the years. I rarely go in anymore. I've ventured out to other thrift shops a little further out. Great finds!

Love these diy's! This all I do in my spare time! On my Instagram I show things I thrifted and how I spruce them up and use them in my decor. I have a hard time staying out of the thrift stores ya never know what you'll find! TFS! 💛

You did such a beautiful job. Everything does look like it came from HL. I love thrift stores. There is no need to pay crazy prices for things when the only difference between there and the department store is a little time in someone else's care and a little time on the shelf. Paint does wonders. I would love to see more. I do this for a living/hobby. More hobby than living but I do have a shop!
It would be great if you did a walk through the thrift store and give us ideas on how to repurpose items you see. I have like NO Imagination when I see outdated things. Love your makeovers!

So creative! These are all the things I want to do, but I just keep putting it off. I repainted our bedroom, and I want to get all new furniture and decor but I don't want to spend thousands of dollars. I want to find inexpensive furniture and make it my own. Cant wait for your bedroom reveal.
Karie Everett I feel ya!! Buying second hand can save you soooo much money! I honestly spent around $100 (out of pocket) for my entire new bedroom set and our room looks 100% different! (Just because I sold my dresser, purchased a different one with that money, sold my bed, purchased a different one etc) so out of pocket expense was hardly anything!🙌🏻 the Video will be uploading in the morning so be sure to watch!😉
