- I demonstrate how to prepare and mark the proper, smaller dosage of Horse Dewormer containing 25 grams of Fenbendazole, to the 250 mg dosage. Sorry about the pony. If you get 10 turns out of the tube, each turn would be 250 mg. Whatever dosage you determine is what you want to use, just keep in mind that I based the video on 10 equal 250 mg dosages. Cheers...V.V.G.

Wonderful video!my horse that's about my size says THANK YOU too! ..I'm in awe how the pharma FDA is so diligent in trying to prevent that medicine to get into the human body! Wow! They even warn you not to eat your horse while on that medication. If they didn't specify it so well I would've eaten my horse under very dangerous situations 😨..FDA you rock! Very informative, thank you! I have the bulk pack, Panacur, tube at 57g w/ 10% fenbendazole. So, I'm essentially 2x the dosage 4 MY HORSE that's relatively close to my size.

You'll have to check the directions. If your dog needs 250mg, my video demonstrates how to achieve that using the tube. How often is up to you, your vet, and the manufacturer's instructions.

This is incorrect dosing guidance for humans.
The proper dosage is 30-50mg/kg for humans. At 50mg/kg, the proper human dosage would be 25g for 110 person which is one tube!
Two - 25g tubes for a 220 lb person.
Underdosing like this will cause parasites to encyst and they will not be eradicated.
It’s much cheaper to use Safeguard liquid.

I am in no way qualified to speak to human dosage issues. That expertise comes from a qualified health care provider. I only meant to show how to get a certain dosage by using the notches on the syringe properly. I don't know if the information you provided in your comment is correct or not, but it was never my intent to practice medicine, or prescribe substances for humans. Anyway, it says right on the tube, "Not For Human Consumption". Neigh, I say...........Neigh
@@veganvango6152 I think 50mg/kg might be closer to the right dose, as this is how I see fenbendazol is recommended to use for great apes (closest GI tract to ours).
The Safe-guard dosage says 5mg/kg, so for a 166-lb horse, that would be 373.5 mg or .37gm.

No shit. Dr Lee Merritt says follow the dosage on the syringe to get rid of parasites.
