My Labrador was diagnosed with Melanoma (tumor located inside her lower jaw at the front) and then when checked to see if it had spread, lung cancer. I was told of a fenbendazole study for humans and felt we had nothing to loose. My dog was given 6 to 8 weeks to live. 3 Veterinarians told me the lung cancer would get to her before the melanoma. I started her on the Panacur powder mixed in her food 3 times a week. After a year she was checked for the lung cancer and there were no signs of it. Now, 2 1/2 years later, she is still going strong, eating well, playing and can still do the zoomies. She has had the tumor surgically debulked 3 times. She will need it done again sometime this year. I had cut the panacur dosings down, but continue to give it to her. She is 13 years old. (Also, about 1 1/2 years ago she started limping due to hip pain. The Vet said there was a tumor. She lost muscle mass, but then it started to improve. The muscle started coming back, but she still has a slight limp. Although, she still gets the zoomies!) I just took her to the Vet for an unrelated minor issue and he cannot believe how well she is. A miricale he said!! Thank you for all your videos and spreading the word!!!!!

I begged my mother to try alternative treatments as I watched the toll her traditional treatments took on her quality of life. She was firmly opposed to the idea. I'm still grateful for the additional 13 years of life that traditional medicine gave her but I will always wonder if more was possible. I know that if my time comes to face this illness I will be open to alternative treatments. My own children disagree strongly with my approach. To say it is complicated is an understatement of epic proportions.

I think from what I have read, that you can use this treatment in conjunction with standard therapy, I believe the guy that brought this to everyones attention took both standard medical treatment and also pancur for small cell cancer - he also had other cancers at that time, whether seconday or not I don't know. He didn't tell his doctor of the Pancur path he was taking incase the treatment was withdrawn. That treatment - which was experimental at that time only gave a few more weeks/months of life extension. He's still alive and kicking years later after beating a cancer with a high 90's mortality rate

There was a spayed stray/ feralish cat and she seemed to be sick and had Neuro issued sneezed blood. I treated her with fenbendazole (panacur) thinking if she was sick with an URI that worming her would lessen the strain on her immune system and help her fight it off. I noticed when I added this to her food in the worm dosage that her symptoms improved. A few years later I left my ex, bought a home and was able to trap her to take with me. I took her to the vet for a dental and she did have an invasive oral cancer. It had invaded her esophagus and sinus and was inoperable. I don't think this cured her cancer but it definitely seemed to extend her life by slowing the growth. These studies didn't come out til after. All I know is that clinically after she was given this her symptoms drastically improved.

He was doing great until we stopped the panacur as they said one week on then repeat in 3 weeks and discontinue use. We are now back to his red blood cell count being 14%.... hes lethargic again. Dr Jones, I thoroughly enjoy your videos and your work trying to improve our pet's health. My doggy Kit, was diagnosed with oral melanoma 15 months ago and it was subsequently removed. We visited an oncologist and he gave me treatments options. Due to the high cost and my hope that Kit was better than the stats for melanoma, I choose not to pursue any further treatment. Unfortunately, I had to put him down yesterday due to an excessive amount of seizures in the last 3 days. By the time I wanted to pursue treatment options like oncet vaccine, fenbendazole, or diet changes it was too late. Putting him down was one of the hardest things I have had to do in my life. I appreciate the openness you and your family have given with pet loss and you should know it helps a lot. I've never given it to my dogs, and lost 4 of 6 over the years to cancer. I've also read that the medicine is actually in research stages for humans. Makes me wonder if it will no longer be available OTC in the future. The cost has increased quite a bit. It supposedly makes the bad cells visible to our immune system or permeable to our immune system so they can be destroyed by our own bodies. I wonder how effective it is for treatment of Lyme. Hi Doctor. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us! You’re a true blessing!
My 12 year old dog was just diagnosed with spleen cancer last week and is scheduled next week to get her spleen taken out. We are very concerned because of her poor quality of blood (I think they said she has low white blood cell count and also low NEU, lym and extremely low PLT and PCT). Because of these factors we’re afraid she won’t make it through surgery. They told us to give her Vitamin B12.
My question is, for spleen cancer, do you also recommend her getting on Panacur and Krill-oil?
Also, is it safe to use human Krill-oil for dogs?
Do you think we should treat her with Panacur with Krill-oil first and then operate? Or operate and treat her after the surgery?

3 years late to answer your question, but answering it in case its useful to anyone. liquid. paste, and granual forms of Panacur all have different ammounts of the active drug (fenbendazole) and that is why the reccomended doses for each are diffrient. for panacur granuals its 222mg per 10lbs, as a recommended dose. I have a 15 lb cat, so it would be 1 and a half packets of the granuals (we use the teal box).
