The point of this product is to allow direct connection to the battery, rather than have to pick up an ignition-on powered wire somewhere along the wiring loom.
Thanks for this video. Agreed on the under the seat mounting of the switch…I want to access it as well. If your phone is charged you don’t want the charger on since it wears out the phone battery. Being able to turn it off is huge.
I’ve just got the same setup, I’m planning on having mine under the seat on my 2011 dyna in auto, and just use the power button on the back of the wireless charging head itself
Can someone tell me why there is so much damn cable? Who isn’t wadding it up and zip tying it somewhere. And why the switch design can’t mount anywhere flush? And why there is no attached cap for the usb when not in use? I like Quad Lock but this is a true V1 product.
Auto is off when the battery voltage hits 12.5v, when you start the motorcycle and the voltage goes up its on again. Until the voltage drops over time when you are not riding

Nice to have a complete setup.
FYI, the Quadlock link you have takes me to a company that does insulated concrete forms.
Did you buy any? :P
Thanks. Should be fixed.

Was that the waterproof mag charger or just the standard one ? As I have the standard one that I’m going to connect to the usb port
How many amps is the output?
2.0 fast charging
or 1.0 regular charging
Question, is it possible to shorten the sae cable?
Has the mount damaged your iPhone with the damper? I didn’t have that an it destroyed my camera
Nope. Phone is fine.

No way your phone kills your bike battery
So does that happen when you charge the phone in your car
Why not usb-c ? For god sake
Auto is off ... until it detects a phone then its on .... I just leave mine auto
