I like the way you chop and change stuff, to make what you have in line with what your imagination can see it can be. I do much the same myself, but most people can not see beyond the original design, which is why they harp on about originality, but really they lack imagination, to see beyond!
I'd like to know if the chains caught the trailer and did it hit anything? I've only ever passed one lost trailer off the road and down a hill, so I've been finding out as much as I could for this video
I dont have many Greenlight trucks, but I have been ding some research on their opening/moving parts, so I will be getting some more in the future. I do have a fair few of the double cab pickup trucks, but I have been buying the Matchbox Working Rigs for the working features. Matchbox working rigs are hard to find here in the UK and Greenlight are only available from mail order sites. I was super lucky to buy the new Greenlight 1990 Suburban, its on its way, it looks the DB's.
From where I live Meijer, Hobby Lobby and Amazon are my top 3 favorite places to get most of these. Other things were sent in or I customized it. It really depends on the truck at this point!
Just an idea, but if you like stop animation, why not put a chunk of metal in the car, and move them with a magnet?, I think it would take some practice, to get it to look right, but would look very realistic.

I was thinking of RT getting a Volkswagen caddy pickup and putting a custom hitch on it and test it on every trailer he owns
Also, have had a similar hitch failure. Mine was caused by the pin failing and the hitch sliding out.
