The younger generations will never understand how cool and awesome this is❤
I agree!
M md
Thankfully there are obviously exceptions heh. Well done!
Took me back to being a kid in the 80s and wishing my Stomper trucks were radio-controlled. Seemed like a pipe dream at the time...
Lmao im 17 (born in 2006) and i want to turn my scale toyota supra in to this, but it seems like i need to learn some things first 😔
As a child i always wanted to convert my hotwheels to RC. Awesome video
Me too, thanks!
S.... Me toooo.... 😂
Same...I remember literally having dreams about it.
@@guerrillaradio9953 go make it a reality then! 🤣
Make it a reality and save yourself money in the process by NOT following this idiots method.
you can literally turn a hot wheels into an RC, for SOOOOOO MUCH cheaper, no knowledge needed (soldering, wiring, programing/syncing the controller) and less time. Aka this idiot and idiots like him waste "months", u can literally make one, in a few hours.
Don't follow this guy's methods. All I'm saying. N this reality is actually, quite simple. Straight forward and not even CLOSE to the BS this dude shows in this video.
I hate to break the news to everyone, but this video was made in 2023. Not 1990.
hot wheels RCs "exist". It's not HARD to take things that already EXIST and just SWAP them onto a "toy" (aka a NON hot wheels rc).
If you want a little better traction, I would replace the tires with slot car tires and hubs. They are about the same size, and I think they would work well.
Thanks for the idea! I’ll be sure to check that out.
Red line edition hot wheels have rubber tires.
@@Jordillian those are notoriously hard to get tho
@aaronsabu2412 you could possibly use silicon and make a mold and make your own rubber wheels
Real riders is a brand of hotwheels that have rubber tires. It started with red line. Now you can order tires for your favorite car.
I appreciate the amount of thought and engineering that went into creating this car. It is also very interesting to compare the DIY approach to the production 1:64 scale RC cars currently on the market.
For sure, glad you liked this video!
I liked ZipZaps as a kid. What can I get today that’s around that level or better?
@@sterlingroberts6240 For micro RC, you have Turbo Racing at 1:76, Diatone/Sniclo SNT at 1:64 and Orlandoo Hunter at 1:35/1:32. They are at a level above "toys" though due to the price.
@@sterlingroberts6240 I dont really have one, but I heard good reviews about snicolo micro rc cars. Maybe you should check them out
@@aaronsabu2412 ok, thanks! I really liked the zipzaps. Almost ordered cells to get them up and running, but the tires aren’t in great shape, and I’ve no idea how to remedy that.
This is admirable good work. Persistence seemed to be the key to this build I’m sure with a lot of frustration considering it took two months. Very well done. It’s really a masterpiece. The fact that you took the time and managed to manipulate all those tiny parts and squeeze them in there is phenomenal. Hats off to you.
I did feel like giving up many times during this project, thanks for understanding the struggle 🫡
Great video! Two months is a really short time for what you’ve created here. Very cool
Using a servo for the drive motor is genius! 😎
It saved a ton of money from buying a separate motor and esc too!
Dam the torque must be limitless lol
@@CHEESESLICER96 yeah, it can do wheelies
I love this concept. Real question can it ride in the official tracks I wanna see it do a loop
Unfortunately it cant because i gave it a wider stance. If you dont mess with the wheelbase and width though, it will definitely run on official hotwheels tracks. Maybe u can make one and see if it can do loops 👍
Wow that was amazing. Well done man.
This is actually really cool. Nice work!
Amazing, I wish I had this as a child. Just awesome
I was feeling weird about the suspension but it ended up looking really cool, like a semi trucks fronts suspension
Thats exactly what i wanted, lol
I admire the work you've done to make such a cool little RC Hot Wheels car. A thumbs up from me. Keep it up! 👍
Thanks so much for checking out my video! It’s because of you that I’m inspired to make more content 🫡
@@aaronsabu2412 That's very motivating to hear! I'm happy to support... Cheers to you!
Sir! You are the bomb! That build was crude but WAY COOL!! I am amazed you pulled that off. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching ✌️
A real testament to patience and ingenuity. Very good job and I look forward to seeing future work. New Sub.
Thx for the sub
@@aaronsabu2412 yep
Nice build! But how do you charge the battery?
I bought a lipo charger off of amazon
@@aaronsabu2412 got this. I was just wondering where the port is or how you connect the charger
@@fruitdudefred2007 I had to make a custom JXT XH 1s lipo connector to deans connector in order to connect the battery to the charger
@@fruitdudefred2007 lemme know if u have any more questions 👍
my childhood dreams brought to light. Awesome Awesome work
Mine too, thanks for watching
Absolutely amazing vehicle build! I’m getting into the micro RC world for the winter. Now Turbo Racing you can buy 1:76 scale GTR’s with power and 30min battery life! I have a Mini Cooper on it’s way and intend on building up a little fleet and an amazing track layout! thanks for the inspiration! I’ve been flying FPV for 6 years, this will be a nice addition!
I wish my HotWheels were remote controlled in my day! As they are now.
45 years ago I would have actually cleaned my room for one! Lol, cheers 🍻
Sick! I really wanted those things which is why I built my own. Maybe if you put an FPV cam on those turbo racing cars u can simulate a whole race with the racetrack. 🔥
You should share this build with Hotwheels this is the coolest thing in the world of RC
I really should, thanks!
Aaron, nice work! I was into radio control planes back in the 70's. You've got me inspired to get back into the hobby.
Thanks, am really glad I brought you back into the world of RC 😀
@@aaronsabu2412 Just been looking into some websites and so much has changed. Looks like there is so much more you can do with the technology we have today.
@@shaunhall960 Fr, brushless motors and lipo batteries are such a lifesaver nowdays! I’m really excited to see what other tech the future brings us
Nice work Aaron. Find yourself a late 50's to 70's Matchbox classic car and do the same thing. These cars got tons of playtime in the dirt since there wasn't anything funner to do sometimes!
Would be a cool restoration project 👍
You literally put life into that car.. so cool. It has a soul now..🎉🚙
What a cool way to describe this!
this blows my mind how creative he is.. I love my RC hobby but this is next level shiz 👍💪💯
I appreciate that, thank you 🙏
Great video. But I was freaked out by the loud nuclear explosion 😢
Thanks, at least I caught someone off guard 😂
Aww...
I didn't mind the nuclear explosion but the giant wire cutters freaked me out a bit
Not what I intended, but ill take it
A real joy to watch it come together. I Hope to make something like this some day. I like the editing and comments too.
the gearbox, for this I wouldneed some mord details to build the car. Really great work !
Thanks for the feedback!
What extra detail do u need for the gearbox? I’m happy to help 😃
Wow, nice build!
EXCELLENTO! I recently did a more primitive video on correcting the matchbox blazer 4x4 Whippy antenna.
Thanks, will check it out
Сидишь такой в час ночи, решил посмотреть и расславиться... а тут бац и взрыв на всю хату =) проснулся
Absolutely amazing!
Supper cool! Nice work on the build!😍
Bloody hell that was amazing. You should start a business off this. I would buy an RC Hotwheels from u for sure
Gonna be selling customs in the future, thanks for checking this out 🙏
Wow men this is absolutely incredible, the ingenuity that you have don't have any sense, congratulations mate it's pretty cool this micro RC car
Thanks yo! I’m glad you were able to appreciate this project
Gotta be the worlds smallest RC CAR 😂. I love it 👍🏻👍🏻
Need to get this in Guinness world record then, lol
I love that you made this build. Sweet choice with the new nissan too
The nissan’s gotta be one of my fav hotwheels. Thanks
I have several very tiny motors that run off of hearing aid batteries ... no need to destroy perfectly good servos 0_o
Lol, i didnt destroy the servos though, i only transformed them into a smaller form that can fit into the hotwheel’s tiny frame
Wow! So impressive!!
I play with 1/10 scale rc crawers so I know how much work that was nice work kool as hell.
Thanks for appreciating the effort 🙏
Very nice. That was my childhood thoughts. 👍
Impressive work!!
Супер !!! Спасибо за видео!
So cute! I love it.
coolest steering system bro
Awesome. I'd buy one.
5 bucks for Hot Wheels! Wow..I buy em for a buck 25 in my area. But this work is amazing!
Nice video and such a great Hot wheels. Thanks, bro 🙏
This is the most impressive DIY micro RC build that I`ve seen on YT. Great job! And just to share smth as feedback - I think more chill and relaxing music is going to fit this sort of video better. Ofc this is just opinion but still it feels a bit obnoxious I`d even say that it doesn`t do justice to the handy work you displayed here. Either way I`d be curious to see more stuff from your channel.
The music is indeed kinda weird. Thank you for the compliment, It really motivates me to make more content!
The music compared to the video is utter crap. Gives 5 minute craft vibes, where this build is next level awesomeness!
@@neshbro Fr, I need to find better music
Only because your video and talent are EXCELLENT mind you! If it wasnt such a cool project, then hey, whatever! But the work is outstanding dude!@@aaronsabu2412
@@neshbro thanks again 🙌
That’s awesome! Incredible job
Thanks
I really enjoyed this video, kind of sad to see less views on such great video
This channel is underrated. Great video 👍🏻
Thanks, I agree 😀
You have to be from the school of chasing a Stomper 4X4 around on your knees all day, with no control, to truly appreciate this!!! 😜
Don’t know exactly what it means, but I love this comment!
I can relate to that!!
great video thank you. WOW Hotwheel amazing bro.
wish i had the knowledge do built mini rc cars... i really want to do some 1/43 scale cars, but also try a 1/18
Great place to start! You dont want to jump straight into 1/64 👍
I find it crazy that theres systems small enough to fit in one.
#1#LOVE THIS ONE#NICE WORK#LOVE IT
Thx for the support 🙏
This creation is awsome. I just wanted to know what the black plastic rod that you used for the steering at 5:58 is from.
The black plastic rod is actually a small black screw that I found from an old traxxas rc servo
Would one similar work too?
@@TheTangentYT absolutely!
Thanks
Molaría que le pusieran un pescadito a esa caña de pescar 🎣
Nice. Came out pretty sweet.
It really did come out better than I expected
wow!! amazing!!
Amazing!
One thing to note: theere were production rc toys of this scale, some were even official Hot Wheels!
Very cool! Nicely done!
Thanks!
You should make one with a stomper, they have those rubber tires and more room. Plus i allways wanted to see those things controlled.
That would actually be fun!
I did the same thing with a Coke can rc racer from Walmart! Same dimensions as Hotwheels, less headache! I made one from a Ev Hummer.
Less headache indeed! I made mine from scratch on purpose though
thats AWESOME!!!!
Man just seeing the prices on them I remember hot wheels bring less than a dollar
Factual
Still $1 - $1.25 hear in the heartland. Some collector's editions higher, but mostly a buck or so.
Right!? I was SHOOK when I saw they are 5 dollars now!😮
This makes me miss my Zip Zaps!
My shaky hands don't have much patience as yours haha! Great work!!
I gotta do what I gotta when i’m bored. Thanks
Buen trabajo chico!1 si fuera de nuevo un niño desearia esto de navidad
Gracias amigo
Great video, awesome engineering
Thank you!
Nice Work! You should put a little FPV camera on there so you can drive around the house.
Facts! That would be a cool project
SHEEEEESH I jumped on the explosion. But that's badass work.
Lol, thanks
I love it well done
Nice, try adding rubber tires.
Good idea, but i want to drift the car 💨
Thats Genius
Bravo 👏
Mi mas sincera admiration!!!
Amazing work!
this is sick man nice work
Very good. Well done.
That's amazing ❤
Thank you 😊
Wow, this is amazing❤
Thanks for the support
So epic great build
So awesome!
Okay, so aside from that fact that he did what he set out to do, in 2023 there are WAAAAY smaller micro servos, motors and ESCs. All of this could have been done so much easier, but again, good for you for finding your own solution.
Incredible. I see your right thumb has been thru some things!
Cold weather is brutal

Awesome! I wish I had a quarter of your talent. Craft me one, I beg you 😂
Sorry, it takes too long to make another one and im lazy 🥱
I hope I can do this type of stuff when I get older
Also you are verry talented❤
You will be able to if you don’t give up 💪
🔥🔥🔥
This is so awesome! I did a bunch of microsoldering so i'm curious to see how far you can take this! Probably not much further than this lmao 🙌 awesome winter project!
Im terrible at soldering, its definitely a miracle I was able to get it working
@@aaronsabu2412 yeah soldering can be a bitch. Best advice i have is always use enough flux. Makes the solder behave nicely 🤣
