I'm so thankful to playstion for giving this to us for free. I've always wanted the remake but my broke has could never afford it. Love this game so much.
Its really surprising the quality of games PSN releases for free sometimes. Especially one this new and polished, from a massive triple-a developer.
I hate when people say ps plus games are free - you have to pay the subscription to get it and keep it. So it was NOT free

It's so damn ridiculous. How can a game be so beautiful. I mean, I always loved SE's CGs but now the game looks like CG. Unbelievable where we are in terms of graphical fidelity.
I've never played a final fantasy game ever but just looking how amazing this remake looks I've had to play it and so far I'm loving it!

@@Dis2good I really enjoyed the game, once i started playing i couldnt put it down. I played on base PS4 and thought graphically it was stunning (low res door withstanding!) and the music is superb. The combat was a real highlight with a great mixture of tactics and action. I would highly recommend this game to anyone who likes rpgs. The new intergrade game looks good but im not buying it, i enjoyed the game and have moved on.
@@ThatGamingGuyfromthe70s inter grade is only for people that want the PS5 capabilities and that have no got to play it on PS4. I personally couldn’t play the one on PS4 cuz of 30fps and 1080p but it’s amazing on PS5!
This is what you call a PROPER remake. Keeping all the details of the original without adding stupid unnecessary changes some devs love to do

I just wish the soundtrack was more true to the original. Some of it is very similar, others... not so much. Ruined a few parts for me.
@@blacksunapocalypse I have no nostalgia for the original game since I just started playing it after finishing remake but I much prefer every track from remake

@@blacksunapocalypse That is probably true but even playing the game today so far it has the best story of any game ive played. I just finished the midgar section and I'm listening to Cloud talk about Sephiroth though so it may get even better. The music is amazing in both games I just prefer the remake ost. I'm curious to see what they'll do in part 2 of the game with how it diverted from the original so much in the end.

it was 1997, cgi movies were average and we were more classic anime/cartoon or old special effect and we just left super nintendo era
so in 2030 maybe we will be impressed by more advanced vr/ar and hologram prototype and feel 2020 was meh

They should have made this years ago but back then there wasn't the right technology but now with today's technology now I understand how it all began after Zack passed away cloud joined this kind of group and then he got to meet with tifa it all makes sense and now there's another final fantasy that's coming this time on PS5 I truly cannot wait

@user-hk7hz9cn7v whoa whoa slow down remake is an incomplete game while the other is a fully finished game... and you gotta give the og credit for making the story in the first place. Remake does look better, but when traditional RPGS and done right, they're masterpieces. I personally don't like the hack and slash gameplay of Remake, though.
Imagine the Megaman Battle Network series remade like this

As a fan of ff7 the special feeling of finding secret meteria is key to the game. If everyone finds the same stuff its no fun. If this game mimics elden ring in some ways, it would work out great! Just my 2 cents as a fan sence 1996
I love how the original is like Turn-by Turn attack style but the Remake is more of a rpg games like Darksiders

Im playing final fantasy remake for ps5 and i wanted to know what it looked like back then ( my ps1 days was all about thps😂)
Theres many things I don't like about the remake BUT it so heartwarming to see these characters look even better than I imagined so many years ago. I just stared at Cloud and Tifa's faces for about 5 minutes because the design is so cool.
Many heartwarming awesome moments, but also alot of bad stuff in this game, way too drawn out and stretched, I'd rather have a 2 part or even 1 game as a remake. 3 games seems a bit much
if you wanna tell a proper story, make it interesting and dont skip character development, having more time and interaction, learning more about the world and finding out the secrets should not have been a bad thing;; while the original took like 40 hours to be completed 100%, you need those 40 hours to 100% the midgar section. I love this.

im not a final fantasy saga fan, i havent play any of them, well just one on nintendo ds but was kinda boring. but the main change i guess is that this went from Pokemon fights to god of war?

A lot of the cuteness and innocence of the characters has been lost in this remake.
But now they look more badass which is a plus

As awesome as the remake looks (and I am buying it day one) I'm getting very strong original release Star Wars trilogy verses enhanced trilogy.
Lots of extra stuff that isn't really needed.
