They have the for rent to own on splice and I have been. Using it for a while and love it! I loooooove baby audio plugins. The space delay plugin is my secret weapon in a lot of my music and crystalline reverb plugin makes pretty much everything sound better! I have been slowly added to my plugin library and there are plenty of baby audio plugins in there.
This is genius, Just the way the attack/release control looks. Like a classic adsr but just A/R … Love that I think you should Add an M/S feature… Since a lot of drums has some floaty/groovy and nice hats and perc on the sides you necessary don’t wanna compress to much . So if you could just Compress the mid frequencies of the mid channel …. This would make us more useful for mastering as well DM me if you wanna talk about it x
I have a question 🙏 Where in my signal chain do i use this plugin? Because i still want to use compression on the track, so do i use the plugin after the initial compression? I assume i use it before the reverb and delay? Thanks
IHNY-2 is a compressor running in parallel - but ultimately still a compressor - i.e. used for compression duties. So we would insert it in the chain where you normally insert a compressor - and typically before reverb and delay for sure (unless you want to boost/sustain the tails -- anything goes!). IHNY-2 is meant for compression that can be heard and felt (as opposed to surgical / invisible compression) so we'd place it later in the chain than any gentle 'signal prep compression'. But again: anything goes, really. Play around with it and see what you think!
The plugin shouldn't introduce any latency in itself. There's literally 4 samples of latency to handle the oversampling, but that's it -- and that shouldn't be audible, and especially not when exporting stems where this is compensated for. 100% wet means only the compressed signal without any amount of dry sound. As soon as you turn the wet/dry balance lower than 100%, the compressed signal is mixed with the uncompressed sound.

My problem is when i export using this plugin on stems i have a Latency and it ruins my songs…
