    I don't need another reverb. I just bought another reverb. The mix lock and delay sync options are convincing features, even apart from the sound. And what a great tutorial!

    So I got this as I liked all the other plugs and you guys are cool. 😀 Love how all the usual “reverb assistant” processing is built in. Going back to all my “in-process” mixes and replacing the verb with this. Thanks again and thanks for the great tutorial! 🔥

    I'm not one of those people who had every Lexicon in 80s so I can't say if the sound is more or less lush or w/e snobby wankery but I will say that I absolutely adore the time sync options (used to have to break out the calculator lol) and just the general UI design is A++ super easy to dial in what I need and a ton of options that are well charted in this video.

    • @drvoodoo3073

      Logic's ChromaVerb has the DAW/time sync Pre Delay and Decay time feature built in too, it came out 5 years ago.

    Dacci Pucci did a fantastic job showcasing this reverb. While it doesn't bring many new groundbreaking features to the table, it combines MANY useful features into one plugin with a super clean and fun interface. I love Baby Audio plug-ins for this. They generally make fun tools.

    Reverb is one of those things that's so over saturated in the plug-in market. Once you've got one, you've got them all to be honest. I've literally only got Valhalla's now, but this, this is very tempting. The ducker feature is amazing

    Somehow, in spite of being intrigued by several of the Bay Audio plugins in the past, I've yet to make my first purchase. Like many of us, I already have an embarrassment of riches when it comes to reverb plugins so it's funny that this is the one that has pulled me in. Sync mode is splendid, of course and I look forward to working with that. The way that the Ducker works is also very clever. TBH, what finally tipped the scales for me was the "Wet Lock" button. It's not the most important feature, but the practical advantages are more beneficial than one might first imagine. Having good presets ready on your reverb unit is just as important as having a reverb in the first place. If you can't hear changes and make comparisons neatly as part of the creative process - and most plugins don't do this - it's a welcome "why isn't everyone doing this?!?!?!" kind of workflow advantage. It's not just the big things like the Sync feature. What makes Baby Audio stand out for me is their commitment to big brain UXD and thoughtful usability.

    • @BABYAudio-official
      @BABYAudio-official  2 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      Depending on your settings, it offers noticeably better CPU performance than Spaced Out - while actually hosting a more complex reverb algorithm. (Spaced Out is many more and other things than just a reverb, though, so the two cannot be compared apples to apples).
      CPU was one of our main priorities for Crystalline due to the feedback we got from users on Spaced Out. It has an "Eco" mode that runs with a lower CPU footprint as well as as a "Resolution" parameter that impacts the CPU. At the highest CPU intensity ("Pristine Mode"), Crystalline typically runs around 20-30% lower than Spaced Out on my system. At the lowest CPU intensity, it's like our Super VHS plugin, which is a pretty lightweight experience :)

    • @artistinstruments342

    • @danielwetzs9317
      @danielwetzs9317 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@artistinstruments342 CPU is one of the most important things, because more than 90% of dev's customers are homeproducers and nowadays everyone could be a songproducer or mixing engineer, no need to buy the most important gear or pc. About 40% of win daw users still use windows7.
