This is a very tough decision. Samsung has never failed me, they just make a very good product. I've owned their phones dating all the way back to the Galaxy S2 Skyrocket and every phone I've owned by them has been great. I have never owned a OnePlus before, but they offer some very intriguing features and to be able to charge your phone in less than half an hour is just bonkers to me. I just wonder how they hold up over time because I'm very hard on phones (construction guy).
If it's about money you'll love oneplus i guess and if not, you'll love the ultra. Most devices should be able to get satisfactory results across the board, but if you want the absolute best device, meaning most premium, most functionality, most exclusivity, it's the ultra hands down over everything. That's why it's 500 more, because there are users who take advantage of the many things the oneplus doesn't have and can't do. One more thing, when the oneplus prices raise again will it fall off or will it stand strong.

@@Averybryner That's the way they are selling it on the Indian Amazon, most probably because they can price the 256 gb version cheaper. But the 512 gb version is also available for purchase.
Watching on my Samsung 24 +, love my phone.
Exynos or Snapdragon?
So basically thr cameras aren't much different? I have ultra 24 and don't like much camera , was thinking about pneplus 12
Go with op12. Replaced my s24U for OP12 and no regrets
@paparitopaparoon thank you. Could you tell me what you prefer more on oneplus 12 than ultra 25?
@@misstornton3848 gaming and battery. Especially if you're always on the go op12 charging time nailed it. To add point to shoot is great on op12. Meanwhile, s24U took 1hr and half to charge and takes time to process the photos you have shot.
@paparitopaparoon meanwhile, my s24+ had 9 hours of screen on time and 21 hours total with 18% battery left over.
@@jordanjackson8873 and almost 2hrs of charging time :D
The review is well-written and provides a clear explanation of the issue. The reviewer was seeking a solution to organize their apps in an alphabetical order within the app drawer of their Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra smartphone.
For 5:59 on the icons menu , use custom and match wallaper colors
Is the op12 ip68?
Ip 65
I had both in my hand i got the s24 ultra even though i paid more the 12 felt cheaper to me and alot more support on the s24. I couldn't do the 12 and i really wanted it.why i was after the 12 was rain drops on the screen the 12 knows when its rain or your finger . sometimes on my s21 ultra rain drops kept hitting icons and went into different programs so i thought the 24u was going to be the same but it don't so im glad to own the s24u.
who else also watching as samsung fan?
Im
Me but i love OP too 😅❤
Will I get the wallpaper of OnePlus 12 which is set in this preview
You can root the OnePlus 12, that adds a lot of things that the S24 Ultra can't do
Waaaay Too much missing for ultra users, your not limited unless you're aware
Spoken like a true Samsung fan.
@@thecrowpit24 just saying rooting isn't necessary with an ultra at this time and it packs in as if so if not more, oneplus is doing well I'm not knocking them, but the investment is worth it for the ultra, you'll get way more and when your ready to upgrade they'll reward for that as well. Device to device people make it seem like it's close its not.
The OP 7 pro was the best camera phone on the market with the S10+ and the Hiawei P30 pro. Apple was, and still is, behind on that point (video is there thing but not photos).
OnePlus 12 for value, smoothness and performance. I have OP 12 and S23 Ultra, but use OP 12 as my primary device. Love OP!
Am I the only one that's having issues with the OP12? This is my 3rd phone I have tried and all 3 had the same problem? I'd be googling something and the wifi would drop and not once all the time? Just about every morning I get up and check the phone for emails and stuff and gmail shoes off line? I rebott this and it's fine until the evening. I have a bcakup phone (oneplus nord N30) and this never has any issues? I don't know whats going on? Guess I'll return this again and wait on the pixel 9. IDK? I like the oneplus 12 though and tried to troubleshoot 3 different things on this phone also.
Hello what better s23U vs OP12
Op12
Price factor aside, i will choose the S24U. Considering the huge price difference and overall, OP12 is the one.
Coming from s24 ultra written this on my OnePlus 12 😊
That seven years of software updates from Samsung is a marketing gimmick.
My OP phones are always so awesome when i get them, but after about 1 to 1.5 years they start having serious hardware and software issues. I'm writing this from my current OP and I can't wait to never have one again to be honest
Real use OnePlus more better & fast than samsung
OnePlus 12 for three reasons:
1. Unlocked bootloader
2. Price
3. Fast charging
Lets Just that most People wont keep their Phone that long and Samsung wil have to keep his Word for the 7 years....
Just returned my s24 ultra and got OP12 no regrets, extremely smooth
Wich models?
In 2025 , 2026 ... with galaxy s24 ultra and 45w charge ?! Oow my god , No no no thank you 😂
I bought Galaxy note 20 ultra 2 years ago. I had to change battery (90 eur) after 18 months, and I dont use it for games. Back side is glass and got broken even though phone is in lether case, I have to change it. I paid 1000 eur for the phone and got only android 13, and wont upgrade any more. So decided never again Samsung.
The Xiaomi 14 Ultra isn’t better in terms of photos and videos ?
Nah
Samsung is for me but one plus 12 is bang for the bucks
only thing Samsung is missing is the 80watt charging
The photos are totally focused on different things and the “focal” point of each photo is obviously “in focus” on the Samsung 🤦
@@higgins7861 nah
Look at the Sony camera shot. You can clearly see it is more focused on the front of the camera where you can see the “dust” much more clearly than the Samsung that is more focused on the word “Sony”
Idk, I still believe the Samsung IS the better camera but some of the photos used in your examples seemed to be focused on different parts of the photo 🤷♂️
Great review, though 👍🏼
The only thing Samsung has going for it is the flat edges and slightly better zoom . Everything else is a win for OnePlus over Samsung. Even OnePlus buds 2 and 3 are much better quality sound and built than Samsung's
TEAM Samsung 4 life but both Android, so a win winner for both..
No reason to spend $1200+ for Samsung
Get the OnePlus 12. Especially if you care about battery life.
Anti Glare display on S24 U is very good.
OnePlus is 👑💖✨💖
Is oneplus safe now from spyware or china? It being funny. I owned the oneplus 8 before reading about how china owns them and has access to everything on your phone. I’m no dignitary or anything or someone rich or powerful. Just wondering if they have access to my data is all. The oneplus 12 looks very enticing.
Hello, I'm not American and I've noticed Americans talking about "my data, spyware" and other terms like that, what's important about the data being taken and what is it used for??, I'll appreciate an explanation, thanks
@@I_m_pelumi if you google “does oneplus steal data”, they have articles of oneplus maker being a Chinese company and the Chinese mandate their companies comply with the government. They (oneplus) has been called out for this and they admitted some data is collected without knowledge or consent of the user. But that was years ago so I did not know if their collection policy changed at all.
Unlocked bootloader so yes
Samsung 😊
no one will use 7 years s24u 🙂
For the price, OP 12 is way better... Samsung is giving us the same specs each year
You also never mentioned that OnePlus 12 has a IR blaster. At least my OnePlus Open does and I don't think they removed it from the OP 12. Samsung killed there IR blaster along time ago. I also have the S23 Ultra. I use the OP Open for work and S23 Ultra for personal. I love both, but honestly the S23 gives me more headaches to deal with, but I've been a Samsung fan for along time. I saw get whatever you want, but you can't over look everything you get with the OP12 for the price. That is basic economics!
One plus verry danger it get hot an catch fire
I hab rhe s24 ultra for my personal use and I decided to get the OnePlus 12 for work. Love them both.
Oneplus 12 is my choice also the camera on oneplus 12 is just amazing
I have op 12 my honest reaction is op 12 sales are higher than s24u 😂
AI will drive a new kind of hardware. These phones will be absolutely obsolete in 3 years. Might even happen in two years…
OnePlus 12 is offering ai Eraser to remove unwanted objects from any image at this price is just amazing!
Turn off background and foreground activity on your OnePlus device for all applications to see a great battery backup of 1d 5h+ with 8h+ screen on time, to get this battery backup, follow the steps below:-
1. Long Press app then click on "App info"
2. After clicking "App info" click on the "Battery Usage" option and then disable "Foreground Activity" & "Background Activity" option.
3. Then get back to the "App Info" and click on "Data Usage" and then disable "Background Data"
4. Do this for all the apps in your OnePlus device and maybe some system apps will not allow you to do this but please apply this method to all the other apps and then you will see the great battery backup 😜
Note: this only works when, umm please do not switch off from charging until this "⚡" stops showing or your phone gives you notification that "The Battery Is Full"
Rocking the op 12. Love it. Beast of a phone forbthe price. Yes i would've loved if it had flat display but still beast of a phone
Man I charged my op12 at 10 in the morning and at 6 pm it’s at 68. Bonkers
I have a s21 ultra and the pics are crap after an update. Wtf this is why hate samsung
