For what it's worth, I went ahead and translated your video into a set of instructions: If you’re having problems getting your PC to recognize your Astro C40 controller, the following steps should fix things: 1. Open Device Manager 2. Locate the Astro C40 device. It should be listed w/in “Other devices” (In my case, the device had a yellow triangle with an exclamation point (!) over the icon. 3. Right-click the device and select Properties. 4. Navigate to the Drivers tab, then select Update Driver. 5. Select the option, “Browse my computer…” 6. Next, select “Let me pick from a list…” 7. You should next be presented with a lengthy list of common hardware types. 8. Scroll to the bottom of this list and select, “Xbox 360 Peripherals”. 9. For the model type, select “Xbox 360 Controller for Windows”. 10. Windows will pop-up warning message stating that it cannot verify its compatibility. 11. Tell Windows to piss off by selecting “Yes”. 12. You should now receive a confirmation message informing you that the Astro C40 has successfully been updated. 13. Launch the Astro C40 Configuration app if it is not already running. 14. And voilà! The configuration software should now recognize your controller.

mine is showing as an audio device. I don't know what to do. Edit : I got the controller to work after hacking the mainframe of the motherboard and changing it from an audio device to a Xbox 360 controller. After I did that I wrote some code to give the controller aimbot and a jitter mod for the right trigger
