I’ve got to hand it to Willie Sutton, he was certainly a head of his time 😂
😁😁😁😁😁👍
Very good haha!
LoL!!!!!! 👍
Nice!
Goooooo!
Willie Sutton missed his true calling. He would have made an amazing sculptor.
He had lots of time. Lol
That's not where the money is... :-)
That might be the most robotic laugh I've ever heard out of a real person... 3:51
Aha ha
Joe Flores 😂
😄
You don't get out much do you?
Ahh haha
The face on that...thing....is so well done.
The plaster head showed more emotion than the owner.
The accuracy of that head is insane
A collector would pay a lot more that than just because of the story.
I agree. Plus the head and hands are so well done, and not cast from life. Could be a very popular exhibit in a museum that collects either folk art or craft.
I had guessed a lot higher. There are prison and jail break museums. I would the $3K is way low.

Considering it was made in a friggen prison, in 1941, that looks ridiculously real!
Willie would have made a great artist. That head and the hand are fantastic.
He was a talented artist.
That fake head has a better haircut than the appraiser does. Lol
Also if you can grow a beard do it. Colonel Sanders was the only guy to wear it well like that.
Good one
Amazing art, actually.
If Willie Sutton had been one of the Alcatraz escapees, it would be worth a lot more than that.
Im not paying a dime for Willie......id pay top dollar for Alcatraz.
What’s in the box- Brad Pitt
Timothy John thats the joke
ggguuuuuuuurrrrlll ... eeevil XD XD
Rick would have to call in his Willie Sutton head expert and then make him a offer of 10 bucks and a store gift card of 5 bucks and he would say I'm taking a very big chance on this, it will take up a lot of counter space. Lololol.
And all the commenters would say this item is worth a fortune.
Tragically missed his calling as a sculptor. He had real talent.
Should’ve became a sculptor
*become
Yes, it's cool!
There was a hand written note with it. It said "I ain't got nobody".
What an amazing piece of artwork!
Willie appears to have been rather artistic. To make something that realistic in prison means he really used his head.
I freaking shat myself when they pulled that head out of the box.
Interesting for sure.He was extremely talented!
Harry Styles in a box.
I'm sure it would pull in more in the right auction.
This criminal was a talented sculptor!
I want the one Frank Morris used!
It's crazy how talented some criminals are.
Offer it to a museum. Hard to think that $3K is on the high side. I’d suspect significantly more by competing museums.

Willie was a genius
How is there not a movie about Willie Sutton?
Brad Pitt: What's in the box? 😆
There are a lot of people who collect prison memorabilia. That would pay way more than 3 Thousand .
The men who escaped from Alcatraz did the same thing. The dummy heads look alot alike and were made using similar techniques. Has anyone else noticed this?
I thought it was about Alcatraz. That's why I clicked.
A lot
Holy crap that's creepy!
"What's in the Box??!!!" (My man, Brad Pitt).
Worth more than that due to the scarcity of items coming up for auction like this
I was thinking the same thing, it was a state prison, which I have been to and bought his coffee mug, so it is technically state property. Awesome work. Willie Was the man. Just wanted money
Looks like Billy should have been a sculptor instead pretty nice job he did on that.
"Whats in the box" Brad Pitt-
That's awesome
No way!!! I bet there's a lot of people that would be willing to pay a lot more for such a head!
Crazy!
Imagine if prisoner's applied themselves this much to a legitimate career
I think it could go to $25,000 in an auction are you kidding me???!!!
It clearly said 2500-3500
I just found out that this is my uncle. This is my dads, uncle, isn't that something
How much could he have made as a sculptor? More than his chosen profession I'm sure.
0:06 nice little reference to the movie se7en
Imagine the work he could have done with a proper workshop and equipment!
OH MY!
The guest clearly didnt catch the Seven reference by the appraiser....
You can’t just keep police evidence, and then sell it
Willie "the Actor" Sutton.
WHAT'S IN THE BOX??? WHAT'S IN THE BOOOOOOOX?! *a severed head*
WAY COOL!
How appropriate to wear a Steelers shirt...
Gotta give it up to the Brooklyn native Willie Sutton and boy that does look like him, even the receding hairline
Willie died,the perfect "escape",now he's free!
WOW
He was caught by the head guard, no less.
Blue dress in the background plays for the Steelers. She’s the offensive line.
ya'll this is the first proto for Harry Styles
It's to cheap for this masterpiece !! The price is quite ridiculous !!!
I’d buy it
Check out that toupee! And I don't mean the one on Willie.
I think I saw the bald guys picture in the post office
I think is real head under cover haha
He was a head before the rest.
Everyone agree Willie must have looked like Harry Styles?
he laughed at the end, because He has a wide variety of "head boxes', but the rest arent plaster.
It looks exactly like him...
Looks just like him !
If only his name had been Jack Sutton.
Why people praise criminals?
It's worth more than that. Try $10,000.
Well after that measley price, we all know where that thing is... headed to...
Creepy
Papillon
I think this piece is worth hundreds of thousands, or even millions to the right buyer. Criminals love spending money on nonsense.
That just screams curse
I would give him 4000
I think that owner later went home and killed him self.
That’s pricey head
All that planning and work ruined by coincidental bad timing.
Have you ever read the book, "100 yards to the prison fence", by Willie Maykit?
Or “Rusty Bedsprings” by I.P.Knightly
Or “Blood in the saddle” by the Kotex Kid?
Seems like far too low of a valuation.
If he sold it for Bitcoin in 2018 he would have like 60 grand right now. XD
Bull he can get WAY MORE
Not enough
Willie would have saved a lot of time if he was bald.
Our names Sutton.😡😠
Amazing what you can achieve when your freedoms at stake just like the colditz heroes
So what the guy soon is his grandfather store of government property evidence of a crime he stole it from an evidence locker when he retired so that he can keep it upon himself and then you can sell it.
you should go to gaol for receiving stolen property
Shut up, Meg.
Lips look like blood
It should be handed back to the maker. Its stolen!
Isn't that evidence that belongs to the taxpayers?
Yeah lets auction it and we can distribute that 2500 bucks to all the tax payers.
That’s it? Lol seems like a low price
Why do Americans always copy us brits tv shows 😂🤷🏻♂️
Because we like to make them better.
Lol 1 more fabrication story
Creepy
