New subscriber from your neighbour in the south, great videos! I've got the same issues as your duke (mine's a 200), mainly the float sensor and the rear brake. Roughly fixed the rear brake up with just a DIY bleed and it works now. Just going to ignore the float sensor since my bike only has 8 more months to go on the road before it has to go to the scrapyard. Can I just ask, do you know where the rear brake switch is connected to? Mine's disconnected and I can't find where I should plug it in to, just sitting loose under rider seat.
Hi! And thanks for watching. Such a coincidence here, haha! Since the bike is going to scrap then you may skip repair the fuel float but just aware of your travelling mileage to refuel... And I have no idea about the switch connection as I trace it sealed inside the wiring harness... Sorry
hi brother i have a duke 390 i press the rear breake but the bike does not stop. the front breake only works well. i aslo said when i leave the service they say it is fine but i am not satisfied with catching the rear break
You need to check brake fluid to see if there is any leaking... If no then it is possible brake pump issue... Do a full pump and caliper service according to my video... Hope this helps
Ooops and I feel sad for you... Sorry bcos I'm not familiar regarding this and not able to help... Perhaps you can send your bike to the service centre for assistance... Cheers
If I open air vent(from where you took oil out via pipe)and do apply break break multiple times will pump go bad ? I went we mechanic for jammed Tyre issue and he made it free but now break is also not applying
Hi! This will not cause any issue to the brake pump... Try bleed again your brake as there is possible air trapped inside... If problem still persist then you may want to service your brake pump
There is technique to bleed brake fluid... Lock the valve and keep on pumping... After few stroke then release the valve while still pressing the pedal... If there is still no fluid then I recommend to full service the cylinder and the brake caliper to check what's wrong with it... Hope this help
Glad to hear that you have made it... It also took me more than 1 hour bleeding the brake fluid myself and it's OK... you're fine next time when you have the experience on how to service brakes.

Glad that I'm able to help... For chain just buy a better quality chain and you should inspect the workmanship of your mechanic... I don't know if he is joining the chain pin loose...

Mine is 016 KTM Duke 250 ABS got the same mirror and now got the same problem with rear brake pump cylinder.
So coincidence? So have you got your own brake fixed? So I think KTM have to do some improvement for the brake pump

I have the same problem as you but my rear brakes are locked on the wheel! What could be the problem?
I couldn't understand what you said? The wheel is locked by the brakes? It should be... Or the caliper is jammed or else maybe brake pump
@@MichaelLee26 the pistol/coil goes out but if you press it to far it gets stuck!
Haha... Then you may need to sand the inside white sleeve to enlarge the diameter... And try to change to a smaller O-ring at the piston
