  • Be very careful handling these. The plastic connectors can be brittle, so maybe don't even remove them if you don't have to.

Pretty sure that rear thermostat is the death pin giving it the early head gasket issues

So I have a 2008 and just changed my oil made sure level was up to top hole. Came home and noticed slight knock sound. Only in drive while idling. I put it back in neutral and idle. No knock. Can you help me? I watched your video on one knocking and seems to me once you have a rod knock it doesn't just come and go. Its always there.? True?

Ed I have a p0328 code. It's doesn't cause a check engine light but it stays present in the engine code whenever I scan my car. I use the bluedriver scanner. Would you think it's the wiring or some type of electrical issue? After seeing this video I think the knock sensors are impossible to get to without removing the upper part of the motor. Also is it worth feeding into? I only use 93 and the car drives fine besides that stored code.

The blue one? It came with the car as part of the Keuylian performance kit

Do you know of any type of engine management for the y34 m45? Emailed AEM and they said they would need to know what the trigger pattern for the crank and cam. Also whether the sensors are VR or Hall. Do you know what they are?

I believe UpRev already offers some support. Not all Y34s are currently covered, but I'd call them to discuss the specifics

ive seen a few vids of ur m56 could u do a launch/ takeoff vid from outside view im thinking about getting this car my friends all they got is srt8s and stuff and these are close performance to the srts i just gotta see how the m56 looks taking off full throttle

basically i want to see if the m56x is worth it bc you can get really good tires on the m56 rwd and wont spin out on takeoff

Having owned both, I'll tell you the AWD was much better at take off. Right now, my M56 would not be a good representation on video because I am due for new tires & it's been very tail happy.
When I get my new tires, I will try for some launch videos.
