Jayne, thank you so much for this wagon-wheel quilt block! I ❤ making unique quilts and this is one of them that I want to try.😊 The fabrics you picked are perfect for this optical illusion style quilt. 👍
I just found your channel and watched several tutorials. My goodness, they are amazing and beautiful. You explain simply which is good for me. I really like this pattern and hope to be My next project. 😊
Hi Teresa, I do not have these as a printed pattern, but I am working on a Christmas pattern using HRTs which will go on my website. Thanks for watching, happy quilting, Jayne
54-40 has another name, Tennessee Waltz. I understand the number name is a reference to North American politics that compromised with choosing the border at the 49th parallel rather than either of the other two.
@@PoppyPatchworkHere in the US 54 Forty or Fight is an historical time in our history so I’ve learned to use that name. I want to check on the Tennessee Waltz pattern as I’m not familiar, oar with that name - but I do live in North Carolina about 2 hours drive from Tennessee!!!
Thanks Jayne! Like you, I’m mesmerized by the HRT!

Tennessee Waltz is a combination of 54-40 blocks alternated with square blocks that are snowballed on all four corners.
I think I prefer the name Tennessee Waltz :), Happy quilting, Jayne
