I can't love the RG 556 enough. It's so comfortable to hold and play, button layout is fantastic, and the screen...just wow. I recently got a micro SD card from Aliexpress with 480 PS2 games on it, lots of killer titles and they run freaking awesome. Such a great hand held.
@@bigretrostudio I honestly can't get over playing all of my favorite PS2 games like Medal of Honor Frontline on such a beautifully designed and affordable hand held like this. The on board stereo speaker placement is very unique and the sound quality surprised me too, it's really good. Thank you for posting this video!
I just bought the RG 556 and i mainly want to play PSP and PS2 on it. Isn't 1X resolution for PS2 supposed to be enough? Considering the fact that we are playing on a 5.4 inch screen so the pixelation shouldn't be much noticeable compared to playing PS2 on a monitor or a TV. I found it hard to justify paying more than double the price for the Odin 2 just to be able to bump up the resolution to 3x on PS2 games. The RG 556 can emulate anything except PS2 just as good as the Odin 2 can. What do you think?
I'm sad that Champions of Norrath is laggy, but considering it was the same results on my RG Cube, I am at least happy the other games on your list should be comparable on my device. Time to get downloading.

I tried to play Need for Speed Carbon, but the game will delay/lag, Is there any setup to make the game smooth? Also, in Onimusha Dawn Of Dream, the game will become slow in Stage 4.
Hope they can fix Jak X combat racing with some updates for make it more playable! Tekken 4, The Simpsons, Dead or Alive 2 and Street Fighter EX 3 works well on Anbernic?

I'm from Brazil and Tectoy will release the Ayn Loki Zero here. I'm looking forward to PS2 emulation. Some people said that the AMD 3050e don't run PS2 well, but everytime I saw videos, its ok. That's why I asked.
Gran Turismo 4 only runs properly on daytime tracks. On a track at night where the lights are on, it is very slow and stutters. No matter what the settings are, if it's evening on the track, it lags unfortunately.

If you have the budget, go for odin 2, otherwise rg556

What changed on the Jak and Daxter game? It was laggy on the last video. Did you make any changes you could share?
A few tweaks did the trick, check my ps2 tweak guide video. I mainly keep playing with those settings, nothing else.

Go into the controls settings and automap the controls or map it yourself, then go into the touch screen controls and set it as none.

Need for speed underground 1&2 ps2 versions rarely run at the correct frame rate on hand helds. The GameCube versions seem to run better
