Wow! You are one busy woman. It’s a good thing you live in an imaginary world!!! Reality would not be any fun at all.
Great series. I loved listening to you describe all the different processes that go into your fabrics.

Firstly thank you FQS and Tula Pink for a comprehensive three part informative video series. It was magical being inside the mind of Tula at a time when the real world is up in arms. I hope that viewers will show this video to members of their family and reintroduce creativity: doodling and colour back into their lives.
If ever there was a time we need a Tula in our lives, it is now.
Thanks again for the collaboration, off to doodle...

I’m very new to quilting and it was your fabric designs that have absolutely hooked me in. I’m a retired fine arts teacher and love colour , design and form and you cover all. I love how generous you are with your knowledge. I’m from Sydney , Australia and I’m thinking of you all in America. Take care xx Mary

This video series was totally fascinating. Now when I see fabrics, I’ll have a better appreciation for the creative process as well as the technical process that created the fabric. Wow, what a huge effort it takes for me to be able to enjoy and and create with fabric. I love it! Thank you for taking the time to share this process with us.

I have such an appreciation for all the work you put into material I love and hoard. I am in awe at what it takes to produce the material from start to finish. I make quilts, greeting cards and just mess around with stress relievers. I am starting my first EPP because of you. It is easy to take to work and work on in between calls. (I’m a paramedic) I have signed up for Homemade block of the month programs in 2 different shops. I am so excited for future lines from you. I am hoping one day after all this COVID crap is over to come to a show that you are at. Thank you for all the love and passion you put into your material.

Tula, thank you so much for these videos. I watched all three and I am thankful for sharing your thoughts and the different stages of fabric designing. If you read this and your face is blank, im an architect by day and quilter by afternoon, from Greece. I would love to turn my current hobby to a profession, i am in the early stages. But since I have always wanted to ask fabric designers about what you have explaned in these videos, you're in my head too :)) Thank you sincerely, keep up the amazing work that you do, and looking forward to working with your fabrics again in the future. Stay well and safe during this difficult time. x

LOL LOL about wearing black in you studio. So many steps from start to finish, so glad you have a handle on it. I have some of your fabric I can not cut into because I like the color or print or both and now it means more then very to save it for me, so many step to get to where it is. I can see that charm packs and jelly rolls would not work for your material you miss the focus point. I know you are keeping up the work by what you said was going on and I can not wait to see your next line out. Be happy and stay safe. The 3 videos were great, glad to see you had time to do them for us.

That was so much fun! I watched all three segments and found the whole thing so interesting. I’m only a home sewer but I am very pleased to know the effort that goes into making fabric for “me” to make quilts simply because I love making quilts. I mean, I understand that no one is making fabric specifically for me and it’s a competitive market and all that, but I am claiming even the smallest sliver of the sentiment that Tula (or whichever designer) put that much effort in to help inspire my joy and passion. I can’t look at fabric the same again!

One more question - I always thought Tula (and other designers) had a particular set of signature color swatches they used from line to line. From what she says here it sounds like she changes things up. Does she have a large swatch "collection" she pulls from?
