The elevator at my church is an Otis series 5 hydraulic. The machine room for the elevator is in the men’s bathroom in the basement. It’s right next to the door as soon as you walk in. Definitely an unusual spot for it.
Unpopular Opinion: I love Schindler HT! I just ordered an HT Lantern from Adams Elevator the other day. Supposed to come today! The HT Fixtures are really well designed and is actually my favorite line of fixtures!
This motor was not epic as it supposed to be. Usually it has a epic motor but shocking that this didn’t. I love that elevator and I love elevators that are old and are made from older companies
Not always... It honestly depends on how well it's maintained. I've seen plenty of older elevators run than newer ones, and I've also seen newer ones run better than older ones.

Well, you gotta put it where there's room!
True
There's a Nordstrom with an Elevator Machine Room in the men's Bathroom also lmao
i like the color of the cab! its plain but unique!
It really doesn't need anything else though.
That one dislike is from Kone. They hate hydro.
lol
This is a 330A in its purest form.
Yep!!
Very nice cab and very quiet for a 330a. A lot of them are much louder
This one is surprisingly quiet. I’ve seen others in places that should be quiet, yet the elevator is super loud.
Unique cab for a 330A
yeah it is.
Any chance you could get the elevator at Webster Groves Presbyterian Church?
Not bad for a Schindler! My church doesn’t have an elevator.
That's an intuitive layout of the COP relative to the doors...
Yeah it's a nice layout.

Nice! I really like HT.
You can buy HT parts that easily?
@@Jdss22 I figured it out how but it has to consist of a lot of a lot of emails to be exchanged
Dear STL Elevators,
What is the name church you film at?
From,
Connor
If the location name is not in the title, description, or obviously visible, it will remain undisclosed.
330A is still in production
It's a solid elevator.
Cool elevator I like the motor!
It's very quiet for a 330a. Makes sense too as it's in a church.
We have one of these elevators in our library
nice!
Does this elevator not have Phase 1 fire service ability?
It does.
Is this brand new?
No. From 2009.
That sound is creepy, right out of a horror movie
The Hydraulic pump I mean
Kind of. This one is actually a quieter 330a. Most of them I've encountered are much louder.
2:49 whats that hanging down from the ceiling?
Clips that can be used to hang padding up. The padding is typically used when moving large items to prevent damaging the cab.
@@stlelevators ahh, i was thinking it might be that but i don't recall seeing them left visible like that before
Most of the time, they aren't, but I guess they just decided to leave them in here.
What year was this put in
2009
STL Elevators thanks for the super fast reply

Little low on oil but it runs well
Sounds fine to me.
I want to know where this church is.
Well, there's a reason the location is not said. By request of the minister, I'm not naming where this church is.
Was the machine room open?
I was allowed to go in there and tour it.
Lucky! I sometimes see machine rooms open. It's still best to get approval first.
I've been in open machine rooms before as well, but since I was allowed in this one, it gave me a good chance to tour it properly.
fast for 3 floors
It’s really only 2 floors with a half level.
2:54 that was fast
It's a short travel distance.
Floors basement & 1?
newer elevators work better.
Not always... It honestly depends on how well it's maintained. I've seen plenty of older elevators run than newer ones, and I've also seen newer ones run better than older ones.
All black that is weird emagine if you were to ride with no lights
Any elevator like this would be dark with no lights on
The panel in the car. The stainless steel panel next to the brown metal cab looks interesting
It's very interesting how it's laid out... Normally you would see a panel like that for a mod, but this is an original install.
my church has a dover impulse
