STUCK in a SCHINDLER 321A!

Happy (late) Thanksgiving. I had to spend it in a stalled out Schindler 321A.
Brand: Schindler (321A Series)
Capacity: 2,500 lbs.
Fixtures: Schindler HT
Power: Holeless Hydraulic
Floors: [*1, 2, 3]
Year Installed: 1999
Elevator gets stuck at 7:15

When you were wondering where the chime was coming from, on Schindler HT elevators without the chime lantern inside, the sound comes from the car operating panel.
6:54 it’s literally giving an elevator communication failure I think, because they do that if the door is messed up too. I’ve heard that sound before on Schindlers and I decided not to ride it
I saw that too.
Hi! I think you got stuck because you put the camera and the sensors think you stuck your hand in the door, so he automactly stop (example: you can stuck your hand on nudge mode
This is actually hilarious. It has floors 3, 2 and 1 and guess what? It’s a 321A!

I feel like all Schindler 321As have a black call station and any elevator that is not 321A (Probably 330A other brands) have the silver call station.
I have seen some 330As with black call stations. Building owners can choose what call station they want to have when the elevator is installed. The black call station is basic HT, and the silver call station is HT Premium.

Can someone tell me the difference between a 330A and a 321A?
The easiest way to tell a 321A from a 330A is the corners of the door jambs. All 321As originally had the "low-pitched" or "ultra-low-pitched" HT chimes.

Elevation Station Productions The door was moving on its own. Schindler maintains these elevators, so obviously the quality of the elevators is not high.

@TransitUSA it wasn't stuck, you must've pulled the door a little bit and it looked like it didn't close all the way, as I could see its 0.5 inches away to be fully closed, so yeah it wasn't a controller error it must've been you pushing the door or doing something to it.

I did that as a child
Have you not gotten stuck before or heard of how it happens? If so, consider yourself lucky! It can be caused by various reasons but one of them is a can door not fully closing rendering the elevator unsafe. Leading to a non-functional elevator

I've got stuck in an elevator before, it was in 2018, it was at the appartement, me and my friend were in the elevator to get to my house with my friend, I clicked 2 and my friend clicked on 1- , sadly the elevator stopped moving but we said its gonna open!
But we waited 1 minutes but it didnt open we were sad and started to cry but we are just 9 year old army bitches, we couldn't do something to get out, but happily a guard saw the elevator stuck and he opened it with some kind of crowbar

What is the difference between schindler 321a and 330a?

Jamestube 8439 There motors are different. On 321A the Hydraulic piston is behind the COP. 330A just has plain Motors. They have lame motors.
When listening to the motor, how can you tell if it is a 321a elevator or 330a?
The easiest way is to tell by the door jambs. They span across the entire top on a 330A, but are cut off on the corners on a 321A.
Elevators are not toys, do not play with them.

How is it 321a it has the normal chime. 321as have an odd chime!
Because of ADA compliance, Schindler were forced to change the chimes to the ones we know and love today.

If you get stuck in a Elevator try to press door open button if it doesn’t work try to Open Door Manually by Touching Hard but it’s safe to do Calling on a Cell Phone or the Elevator Phone.
