This presentation will explore findings from a mixed methods study, including data from the 2023 Canadian Social Connection Survey and focus groups, highlighting the role of shared meals in enhancing social bonds, improving well-being, and promoting inclusivity. Attendees will gain insights into the health and social benefits of social eating, while also learning practical recommendations for organizing inclusive events that celebrate cultural diversity and strengthen community resilience.
