That first salad has all the awesome ingredients. I love that everything was thrown in, as that's how I usually make my salads...and end up grazing for hours since it makes so much. LOL! Since learning to like veggies more in high school, I just eat a ton of onions in all forms. Yellow, white, red, green, etc. I eat them raw, cooked, fried, etc. Your pink sundress is so cute!
If you ever have a tough time opening a jar (if its new or someone tightened it too much) use a towel (resuable) with texture to hrlp open. It helps grib better than your fingers especially if youve been touching greasy things like the salami. I have never had artichokes or artichoke hearts. Def been scared to try them. Hear theyre not that good but to each their own. Are they good? What do you eat them with or how do you cook them?
I LOVE raw onions in my salad! ..But my partner doesn’t! ..Their dad (a chef) told me to soak them in cold water for like 15 minutes to mellow it out. You’ve probably already mentioned this 😅
For the red onion, people who dont like it probably had it served wrong. Or should I say prepared wrong. When cutting red onion you realy realy realy need a sharp knife. a sharp knife cuts trough / past the onion cells leaving a great product. A dull knife crushes the onion cells making it more bitter and not so nice to eat. As for how you uswa the red onions, I really like the salads and will give them a try soon. Thanks for the amazing videos !!! Keep it up ...
These all look delicious - great video. Just a quick note re the chicken temp you mentioned, Kenji had a good article about chicken temps, and you actually don't have to cook it to 165°F to be safe. Iirc, 165 is the temp where any bacteria are killed *instantly*, but power temps for longer times will similarly sterilise it! I'll try and find the page again and edit it in, just to show sources lol :) Chicken cooked to a lower temp will be juicier, is all!
Antipasto(Antipasto is the traditional first course) Variations: Seafood platter; calamari, mussels, smoked salmon, tuna fish, olives, cheese. Salad Dressing: ???????? This tangy, dijon mustard-and-herb flecked- honey- garlic clove, salad dressing is a favorite in many American restaurants. But “dressing” as Americans know it doesn’t exist in Italy-there, salads are exclusively dressed with oil and vinegar, or sometimes just oil.
Would loveee to try this.. Actually, me team both onion and the red one hahahahah..but love the red onion in my salad, it makes my salad appealing .. The 1st recipe, is ther any other option for the red wine vinegar?what about acv?
I only like red onions in my salad if they’ve been soaked in water to take the harshness of the spice away or another way I like them in my salad is to pickle them really quick it adds another flavor dimension. But straight up raw red onions is a no for me.
Hi cousin :) Your salads look fantastic - I really love these substantial creative salads! Congrats on 1 million+ subs - you probably received a really nice TH-cam plaque?
@@honeysuckle We just got out of lockdown #5 in Melbourne - Jacqui now locked down in Brisbane. Hope you and your family are all well :) We look forward to the day international travel is back on safely! (Aus international border shut until further notice) You should go on MasterChef btw!
You should do a video where you collect all the things in your fridge, freezer, pantry, spice drawer that you are wanting to use up or are almost done, and create a meal or two with it all or as much as you can! But not preparing any recipes, just on the spot
I love chopped lettuce 🥬 and I am team no onions it’s so weird I love onion rings or soup but onions alone I dislike so much and the watermelon with the sauce mmm 😋 my family and I have made it before plenty of times so delicious 🤤
My family and I love onions in our salads and there must be a lot of it, but one of my children does not like tomatoes. I made once a simple salad with onions ,tomatoes and some dressing and he said: “Why did you add the tomatoes? It ruined all the onions!”😁…and he was serious too
Honestly any soy sauce would do. I actually prefer the regular Kung Fu soy sauce as opposed to the Japanese one. Japanese stuff are just packaging and BS promotion to fool people.
humans evolved with meat, meat is what our bodies are naturally used too. i'm not saying that being vegetarian cant be healthy, however, meat it not unhealthy. I also wanted to mention that anything can be unhealthy without moderation.
Cured meat has the highest carcinogenic rate of all food's. Meat itself isn't unhealthy, like chicken breast or something, but salami, ham or other stuff like that isn't healthy at all. So all of you are wrong

1 year later ...
It’s looks like delicious… salame is good for health? I’m not sure. I thing is a processed food no?
its cured meat but there’s no bad additives in the ones we usually get. ☺️
your second salad was already on a previous video..

Rather than red onion I’ll use green or shallots but that’s just me 😘
Yeah I dont like raw onions, especially red, but scallions I'll do
No onions :/
All of them look delicious. (I had no idea you were a chef.) Oh btw an onion person raw and cooked from birth.
Team no red onion, ever. Sorry 😞
I don’t shop and Trader Joe’s
I gag at the smell of raw onions🥲
Honestly any soy sauce would do. I actually prefer the regular Kung Fu soy sauce as opposed to the Japanese one. Japanese stuff are just packaging and BS promotion to fool people.
Meat is not considered as healthy😏👎👎👎😪
humans evolved with meat, meat is what our bodies are naturally used too. i'm not saying that being vegetarian cant be healthy, however, meat it not unhealthy. I also wanted to mention that anything can be unhealthy without moderation.
Meat and protein is essential, just try to eat naturally raised meat
