The real estate agents and brokers created the problem by being greedy. In most places in the world, the commission is 1%. But in the U.S. they are trying to fleece the sellers and buyers by pushing for 6%....!!! That's the root of the problem.
Commissions are 100% negotiable! You’ll get what you pay for.
@@RealEstateCoach You are correct. But since most big companies ask for the same 6%, there is little room left to negotiate. That's why more people are learning to buy and sell on their own.! I have never used real estate agents for buying and selling properties.
@@theowl3756 I think you may have a misunderstanding and lack of actual information. Being an agent is an independent contractor. An agent pays for everything from their phone, car, gas, down to the stamp or the piece of paper they write on. There are thousands of dollars of monthly expenses even if they just sit and do nothing. Every detail from MLS access to the lockbox to get a key costs them money. There are no companies that ask for or set commission fees otherwise they are not an independent contractor. Every agent can, and does, determine what they are willing to work for and even at that %, 85% of agents can't stay in business.

If one is giving game to be a successful realtor, wouldn’t that undermine the process in which it took for them to become a successful one ? If they are one ? Wouldnt it create more competition ? Ppl wont do that without a price
She is building her brand which leads to higher revenue as well. Also not everyone is in the same market so you’re not in direct competition with all of the people that see this. Also not everyone is willing to actually do the work so a million people can watch this but only a fraction of a percent of those people will actually IMPLEMENT what is being said. Just because you know the knowledge doesn’t mean you’ll use it.
