The enthusiasm and excitement that you put in this video made it all great and fun to watch regardless of the outcome. I'm an old school Zoom Worm Loyal, I tried the Mondo Worm once or twice and the Pack is still sitting in my tackle box and not in my backpack but thanks to you and this Video I will give the Mondo another Dangle!!! I'm from South Orlando. Awesome Video, Keep up the Good Work!!
well that's going to partly depend on your rod and reel setup but usually I just use a 3/0 EWG hook. Some will use a 2/0 round bend on the mondo. If I'm throwing the magnum zoom I might go up to 4/0 ewg. Weights depend on what you're doing. I'm usually in the weightless up to 3/16 range with what I fish. So I might use a 3/0 ewg 3/16 and that will cover me for most situations. If I had a bunch of setups I would get more specific but I usually throw something I can throw a lot of stuff on so I can switch baits until those bass show me what they want.
Usually 3/16 oz unless there's more current or I need to get it Deep quicker then I'll go heavier. I'll use less weight if I'm getting bit on the fall in shallow water or I just want to keep it off the bottom in shallow water.
I see you’re back wading into “Snake Creek”. Here in NC we have some monster farm ponds... but, they are all surrounded by thick “Snake House” brush. Too scared to fish ‘em! You’re my hero!
5/0 heavy duty since I'm using a big rod I have no problem sticking them with bigger hooks. You do have to let them eat it before you set the hook. I don't always do that though lol
Great video. You fished different areas with different lures and explained everything well. That ending though.....had me on my toes waiting for the winner. I was hoping for zoom because they are cheaper and last longer.
Around 30 some odd years ago used to fish area off of hwy 60 that looks just like that last spot . Alway had to watch out for mad cows and sometimes the farmers. That was a great video nice fish all around a job well done. Good luck and keep it up
thanks. you know I don't really know for sure. I've never thought much about it. I will say the rivers down here in FL that are spring fed are crystal clear and most of the others are pretty dark. At a certain point that river connects with saltwater so it becomes brackish but uts freshwater where I was fishing.
Only drawback on the Zoom is they’re usually done after 1 fish but they’re cheap so you can buy a bunch. I know folks who swim them like swim baits and catch’em Good vid!
Don't think there's a way to do a 100% even match up. One spot might be better than another. Some bass are more willing to bite. But I did try to make it as even as possible. But everyone has opinions.

@@reeljourney I Subscribed to your Channel and clicked on the Bell, so Keep'em coming!!! :-)
Lots of fun, thanks!
No problem. Thank you.
What hook size and weight were you using (or recommend) for the mondo or speed worm?

Lol yeah if I started seeing snakes I'd go somewhere else or start rocking my wading boots
What size hooks are you using sir

Awesome video! Was entertained throughout...I just started fishing the zoom speed worm recently and caught a 5 pounder.
Nice. Yeah buzz worms will catch you some good fish

appreciate that
Love the videos keep it up

Fun to watch. I was pulling for the Zoom! BTW, what makes the creek bottom that orange and red color? That's cool looking.

Zoom got that home court advantage lol. Zoom all the way
Only drawback on the Zoom is they’re usually done after 1 fish but they’re cheap so you can buy a bunch. I know folks who swim them like swim baits and catch’em
Good vid!
yeah when they're chasing moving baits I like to keep them moving. That's when it's the most fun to fish them too.
See I’ve found the opposite as zoom was better built lol. What a paradox we live in.
@@joejohnston1776I swear I’ve caught some big fish on googan baits but they just don’t last as much as my zoom or strike king worms
@@adrianpena944 never had much luck with strike kings. Def prefer zooms
NIce My friends 👍👍👍
Thanks. I appreciate it
Look is here some CRISPY CONTENT here good shyt brotha🤘🏽🤘🏽
Thanks
I’m gonna have to try the speed worm
Yeah they're both good 👍
Do Googan baits slim shake work vs zoom trick worm challenge video
Maybe. I think they're pretty even. I think for those 2 its more about how you fish them. Drop shot vs shaky head type of video.
Reel Journey do it
When is the next video
One is coming out tonight. July 3rd unless something goes horribly wrong
Let’s go
Fight to the finish 😂
You're telling me lol I felt whopped by the end lol
you should've used zoom 10" ole monster to fish against googan 10" worm both are sented the speed worm is made to swim
Googan swim bait vs strike king swim bait
Might have to. Haven't had a good swimvait bite in a while. I might have to wait until I feel like they're biting swimbaits better
I'll fish zoom over googan any day
ok
hells yea i agree. i'll do zoom and berkley powerbait any day over googan squad
What a banger
Thanks. Always appreciated
You gonna Challenge the CHAMP zoom Realy?
I know right lol 😆
mondo caught bigger fish tho….
yeah they both caught some good ones but you're right
That is not a even match for those worms 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡 googan baits are the best in the work
