  • FL stick Matt Baty teaches us all how to rig and swim a Speed Worm. Works great around vegetation. It's for-sure a FL deal but works all over the country too. Gear he mentions in this vid:
    - Berkley PowerBait Wind Up Worm (junebug): bit.ly/BerkleyWindUpWorm
    - 4/0 Berkley EWG Fusion19 Hook: bit.ly/BerkleyEWGF19
    - 5/16-oz tungsten weight made shiny
    - Bobber stop
    - 7' 3" or 7' 6" Abu Garcia Fantasista Rod - MH if braid, H if fluoro: bit.ly/AbuFantPCasting
    - Higher-speed Abu Garcia REVO Reel: bit.ly/AbuRevoAL-F
    - 50-lb Berkley X9 Braid: bit.ly/BerkleyX9braid

I don't know but you have to keep the worm moving and not get bogged down in the grass so just about any ratio can work. Might go on the faster side because sometimes that worm does get hung and when you pop it through you have to catch up to it...
