- How to Sublimate Glass Jars |Polygloss
In this video, I will be going through the process of how to sublimate glass jars using the polygloss method.
Get your Polygloss here 👉bit.ly/3CYZqu1
PolyGloss can bring to life those products that you wish to turn into a sublimation product. With the correct coating, curing, and sublimating you can have great results. The jars were cleaned with alcohol, coated with polygloss, cured, and sublimated with the HPN Signature Series Mug Press.
I highly recommend using between 350 F for 180 seconds when sublimating glass jars with your mug press.

Happy new year!.
Thanks very much. The journey is now beginning.
love it very nice
Thank you
@@shirleyotero1846 you are most welcome
Great video! Thanks for making it! Have you tried testing this in the dishwasher? How long does it last? Thank you again for showing us this technique.
Thanks for your question and I do apologize for the late response.
So in this case these wouldn’t be dishwasher safe. I would recommend washing by hand. The reason why these wouldn’t be dishwasher safe is when to much heat from the dishwasher starts to apply on the jars it could reactivate the polygloss. So the safest way is to wash by hand.
It will last very long. I have other polygloss projects I did over 4 years and they are still good up until today as I am sending this message.
I hope this answer helps you.
I love your videos very informative. I noticed in your previous videos your using the workforce printer and not the sure color, can you please tell me why?
Thanks very much for supporting the channel. I appreciate it. The surecolor os wonderful and I still have it. The majority of my work on a day-to-day basis is normally larger format printing so this is why I continue to use the workforce. What would be awesome is if Epson actually created a Surecolor sublimation printer that can print up to 13x19. I do believe this would be a game changer in the printing industry.
Hey Allan love your dedication. Saw a 3 years old video of u just now, and taught that is a dead channel but seeing this video posted recently just cool job man. I have a question tho. What do you think about sublimation floor tiles, i would love to just buy some white ceramic tiles, and printe on them for my house. but i dont know if the print would stick or fade away in years because of washing them. sory eng is not my first language.
Thanks very much for tuning into the channel and thanks for all of your support. I think printing on floor tiles is awesome. I have two videos that can help and I would encourage you to watch them and get a greater understanding. In the first video, I coated the tile with polygloss only - th-cam.com/video/EzgY6UUhkR8/w-d-xo.htmlsi=D5a0E9ecma1xO0wa and the second video was a comparison between a sublimation tile vs a regular floor tile coated with polygloss - th-cam.com/video/NsTK5WWPWJc/w-d-xo.htmlsi=9AvJCErR3qge9oSl.
If you use the Polygloss method and the tiles are exposed to consistent sunlight they will fade after a time. However, if they are indoors I believe there shouldn't be a problem.
I am not 100% sure if water is thrown on them daily they would fade. I believe it shouldn't but I am not 100% sure.
I hope these two videos help and give you a greater understanding.
@@atprints Thanks a loot i will check them right now. God bless you :)
Hi how are you doing?
Can you sublimate on normal aluminum sheets with it not being sublimation aluminum sheets, does the sublimation spray work on it
Or can you please do a video of that
Thank you
Hi, I am doing great thanks for asking.
If your aluminum sheets are not quoted with the solution or are not sublimation prepared, then you will not be able to sublimate on it.
If you use the polygloss, then yes you can surely sublimate on it.
Regarding the sublimation spray, you would have to clarify which spray you are referring to, but I do not normally use the spray.
Yes, I can do a video. I am actually in the process of creating a video on this topic so I am hoping by the end of this week or next week it should be up for viewing.
Thanks so much for the video. Once you have cured and let the glass dry, do you need to sublimate straight away or can you leave the glass for a couple hours or even days before sublimating with the design?
Thanks for your comment. Yes, you can leave the glass item for hours, days, or months before sublimating onto it.
Once you coat it with the Polygloss and cure it, you can put it down and sublimate it when you are ready.
So an idea for you would be this if you purchase some $1 or $2 jars, you can coat all of them at the same time and then sublimate onto them when you get an order.
I hope this answer helps.
How long will the image stay on the glass? Is it permanent or temporary?
@@jimmiedenise6444 thanks for your question.
This stays on permanent.
The only way it comes off is if you reactivate the polygloss or sand it off
Bro are you bajan ?
Yes I am
