Whe did you place an order w/Sur-Ron Shop? Trying to understand their lead times?
There is usually a waiting list to get on before you can actually order it. I got lucky and they had one ready when I first talked to them. Shipped it the next day after paying. Other thing I would change is the shipping. They offer DHL. 2-3 days for like $150. Vs $70 standard. I did the standard shipping and it took 2 mouths to get after they shipped.

Yes.
@Michael Coleman the stock x controller is set to a max 5.3kw output power. The 24F is able to pull up to 23kw of power with a upgraded battery.
You can also bypass the BMS of a stock battery and get up to 7.2kw of power with the Nucular.
What made u go with the 24f over a bac? Still deciding myself
Compared to SinTech or nucular 24f controllers, Bac8000 is definitely more powerful. However, it is not possible to realize it’s potential on the sur-ron factory motor.
Bac 4000 performance is very similar to Nucular24f as well
I can claim that all these 4 controllers are pretty much similar in terms of power output. That is why it is more important to compare the feedback and affordability of these controllers. I went with 24F from SurronShop because of this.

Thanks for the video. Is that throttle modification required for the stock throttle? It seems like you soldered a resistor in between. What value?
It is. Unless your controller comes with a throttle with the connectors already. SurronShop said the resistor is necessary.

@@flyingfox8586 no, They usually go by color and then the colored stripes on them. I just used the same one from the picture SurronShop sent me
@@electricisbetter haha, yah. Is there any chance you can share that picture. Going to try regular wiring first, I was told the NUC will throw an error if the value is out of bounds. Then I know a resistor is necessary.

Why did you get the 24F instead of the 10F? It says the 10F is good up to 10kw, which seems like plenty of power.
24F is good for 20.000w. Or 20kw of power max

I'm debating which controller I want to go with on my talaria... I'll enjoy the stock setup for a little while but only a little while lol my razor bike does more than 80amps... a bigger bike will be amazing. I'm on a budget but I've been cheap before and that sucks... I'm thinking sabvoton would be cheaper but I'm thinking a sintech would be nice. Asi bac controllers idk why I'm just not a fan of. Maybe cuz that's what everyone's using and they're hard to come by wait lists and very expensive. Idk though no rush really
Good comment. I'm actually supposed to be receiving a Talaria here soon that I'm going to start making videos on. Also partnering up with SurronShop (talaria studios) and they are supposed to be bringing a bunch of upgrades for the Sting. So far, they've told me they like the Sintech controller on the bike. 6.5mm Castle Creations bullet connectors for motor power leads, rated for 200 amps, you can find similar for phase wires, Luna Cycle carries some I believe, Liquid electrical tape... for water proofing the end of controller, wire plugs etc... best of all, it just peals off when you need to service.... Stretch your electrical tape and rewind on roll before wrapping, it will shrink and form a much nicer wrap around the wires...
Word of Caution about liquid electrical tape, do NOT use around small children and or pets... use in well ventilated area's, it will stain EVERYTHING it touches, it will melt some... I use cut off pull ties to apply or Popsicle sticks... more than one layer is advisable, thin layers, thick ones take forever to dry... it shrinks when dry ...
I use it to seal all my electrical plugs... along with double wall or glue type heat shrink tubing, properly applied, it will make a water proof seal and very strong. Much thicker wall compared to Amazon crap, auto/truck shops carry it.

Hi I bought a nuc 24f controller but don’t know how to do my throttle mine didn’t come with it as well. What do I do :(
You have to splice your throttle cable into a connector that they ship with the controller. I would reach out to SurronShop. They will video call you and walk you through the whole process
Ok but there are only 3 wires so only 3 go into the connector that was shipped right?

you skipped a lot... like where did you plug in your screen? how did you mount the screen.. mine comes with a solid metal circle at the top by the handle bars. THere is no place to screw in the new mount for the screen. Much less any instructions on where to plug the screen in as it only has a 5 inch cord dangling from it. Looks like you hook it into a USB port by the looks of the hook up. However I cant for the life of me figure out where to attach it to the motor or how? Its crazy how it shows up at your house with no instructions and videos of people with different bikes throwing it all together. I have so many problems installing this thing im about to put the stock one back on and throw the controller away.

Hot glue doesn’t help with water proofing. You’ll need something like silicone.
The ASI controllers have true FOC and field weakening, making them more refined and provide faster top speed. They can also be purchased for way less money from Green Line Engineering in Chicago Illinois and everything arrives programmed and in English. Good video by the way. Love the channel

Good luck programming ASI if you bought thru a vendor. No backdoor access for BAC unless you buy directly from ASI with a license. Also NUC24f can run on FOC btw.
@@03SVTMB I guess you have not been watching the easy to program TH-cam videos by Green Line Engineering. They make it so easy to program and they are in the USA. You can also easily swap between 60v and 72 volt batteries in less than 2 minutes
@@03SVTMB Nucular does NOT have Field Weakening. Only ASI has it and that is why all the top speed records on the bike are with an ASI
@@Buffetology Not heard of Green Lime Engineering will need to check them out. Nucular has it's own display and it's all handled thru it. No additional apps or extra egg rider displays needed. And Nucular does have field weakening. I can change the parameters on it. Thanks for the info.

It's crazy that su ron makes these and sales them but they don't give you or make a mounting bracket for it . Crazy. I wouldn't buy anything from Russia now.
i cant justify the money for these things....they charge rearly good money for these but the design and fit is just BAD...same with the bac's just to much money for the amount of effort they put in to them ..they just throw them in a box that is no where near the same fit as the original, at least this product is black and not a blue and orange unit that looks like its came straight from a solar panel power unit.... just lazy designer's... plz dont get me wrong the end result is like night and day to the oem unit, and i want to improve the perfomance of my ron .....just not unti the right look and fit comes along that justify's the money....... sry for the long rant guys #ronlife
