There are a few things that I really like about your videos: You really dig into the Amps. You enjoy playing. You enjoy the amps. Your playing. And finally you and your videos are genuinely authentic. Mach weiter so 💪👍
I agree. Diezel Herbert is #1. The clean tone is magnificent and the metal tone is truly special; powerful and clear. I have two and also several of the best Marshalls and even a triple Rectifier. Diezel Herbert is the best. Great video!
I wanted a Herbert for.. dunno, 15 years or so. Picked one up late last year and it left me as gobsmacked as you were at the end of that video. Just picked up a 2002 Recto 4x12 and the Diezel through that is the best thing I've ever heard. Fantastic videos - just need to hear your voice more! Keep it up man!
I bought an Einstein after watching your video. Had the VH4 pedal for years before that as my main tone and tried an Einstein back in 2012 at GC so when I was able to I nabbed one. Paired it with a Soldano Avenger and it's just the perfect tone like you've described. Never really liked the clips of the Herbert I'd heard before but this one sounds fantastic. The Helix setup you have has me reconsidering my Ignite VST IR loader all together. Sounds like a real cab and huge.
@@bradolsen9935 . Very much so. The impedance curve it the reactive load is important to how the amp responds. The Suhr load is incredibly accurate to a greenback. The two notes and most other loads (with exception of a very few) are not like any speaker particular speaker. The two notes is good don’t get me wrong. It’s just I’m quite picky.
Aside from the video being glitchy, that diezel sounded phenomenal , and you played and fed off it amazingly. Your increasing profanities were 100% justified, it's a f-ing good sound!
Hey man, you're saying you're using an "EVH Impulse Response", could you let me know which manufacturer? Currently on the lookout for the perfect IR for my Herbert.
Hi great video for herbert and einstein( i have one) is it safe yo use 100 attenuator with 180 wats amp - herbert ? The Suhr reactive box is for 100 wats or there is something more inside!
I want a Diezel amp after enjoying the Diezel model on my HX Stomp. Have an Uberschall, Mezzabarba MZero, and Mesa Mark V so the low end grunt would be fun. VH4 or Herbert? Love both but can only afford one. I like 4 channels but the Herbert has midcut and seems like more low end grunt.
Sounds incredible! I knew channel 1 and 2+ were great and had pretty much written off channel 2- until I heard that tele. My God that was glorious. So you weren’t worried about blowing the greenbacks with that much wattage? Or is it not an issue with the volume down? I’m hoping it’s safe because I VASTLY prefer M and H magnet drivers to any V30.
I totally agree with you when you say that Diezel is maybe a mix of Marshall, Mesa and Soldano. I love my VH4 more than all my Mesa I owned, but now I need a Herbert, so fucking much.

I love my Diezel D-Moll🤘

Oh and I'd love a Discord invite!
The Herbert is a keeper! One of my favorite amp of all time.🤘
Had a Herbert for a few months, ultimately i couldn't gel with it but i can hear it's potential.

Awesome stuff!! The load box is the important bit. I consider the Suhr reactive load key to getting these tones
@@RDamps do you consider it better than the Two Notes Torpedo? I use two of those into a Scarlett and Cubase with onboard IR’s mostly YORK.

Subbed! Man love the tele riffing on Diezel so hot. Now you have me wanted a Diezel amp and nice Fender tele haha!

I’m still in love with that amp.
Thanks! For this Dynamic playing Diezel Demo! I need a Herbert… gas thanks 🐱🦄
I just love this Video 🐱
Great video, thanks 😊
I think a Hagen would be right up your alley.
more vids man!
Cover more Diezel amps please!
I will be !!!

Great video, great sound! But it´s not a MKII, it´s a MKI. Different transformers, circuit board and Herbert logo on the front. Anyway, well done!
Thank you for the clarification! I’ll be looking for a Mk 1 then!

I still think of the Herbert. It’s my favourite Diezel by far
@@RDamps did you mention what power tubes this particular Herbert had? JJ KT77s?
@@jonathankidd7921 when it arrived if I recall it had EL34’s. I changed them to JJ KT77’s. As per Diezel spec
@@RDamps thank you. I have a Herbert MK1 coming in the next week. It sounds glorious in this demo. I’ll definitely try the JJ KT77s.
i can hear you tension springs on your v when playing symphony
What a tone wow ! Can you give more info about your sound chain ? What software did you use to record ? Any eq ?
Literally guitar into amp > Suhr reactive load > HX Stomp (Impulse response loader and room reverb) > reaper. No post processing

Yeah just keep that volume down
FYI this is a Diezel Herbert MK1 not MKII
19:50 20:31 20:42 Angry!!!
yeh good amp, but your best tone so far is the JTM50 Blackflag demo, which was less gain but more mojo.

If I had to pick one Diezel, hand on heart it would be the Herbert
@@RDamps MK I has somethng special that a MK III doesn't have.
Is the Herbert drastically different from the VH4 or the Dmoll?
Angel of Death!
