Wau thats really affordable. I need to see about Rayong more. Thank you!
You’re welcome 😊It is worth a look for sure. Enjoy and thanks for watching.
good job with the drone.
I like my Mini 2 Drone.
We’re moving over to Chiang Mai in February from the Uk. Never thought of Rayong till we started following you. Thanks for opening up more options
Have fun! It is great to look around. The Poor air quality in Chiang Mai during burning season is a problem for many in that area.
there is only about 850kilometres difference.
Both beautiful and affordable. Thank you Les 👍
Glad you like them! Thanks for taking time to comment.

Les WOW!🥰
Thanks😎
Just discovered your channel, really excellent stuff. Question, the houses look like they are double walled, is that true?
Hi no thy are all single wall construction thanks for watching and taking time to comment Enjoy I hope you get value from the video's.
Great places Les,
Only wish I had the amount of people to make it worthwhile, if per chance you find anything of the same calibre for a singleton/couple that would be amazing.
My ambition is to find a property either on the beach or so close you can drag a boat to it and use my days sailing a small craft for pleasure, until I find out about assisted living..
regards Barry
Thanks 👍Assisted living vid done awaiting approval. On the beach at least double the price.
Wish I lived in them
I am happy with a 5 min drive to the Beach. Thanks for watching.
Omg les looks fantastic
I asked you awhile back about koalak and you gave me another utuber to check out
still interested in Thailand what suburb is this so I can check it out mate
Love your vlogs real down to earth
Rayong Province near me. Chack Phong is the near by village.
Thank s les for quick reply will be in touch appreciated
Thanks for the excellent vlog Les, it looks amazing and very appealing as I approach retirement. Is there much to do within the immediate vicinity? The beach looks fantastic, but are there shopping and other amenities close by? A couple of beach side bars would be nice. I'm not looking to live the high life, just a relaxing way of life with my long time Thai partner. 6 months in Thailand (Winter) and 6 months in the UK. I need to maintain my UK pension and NHS entitlement.
There are a few eating places local, nice beach restaurants close by. Shopping at Makro is about 15 km I would suggest transport is needed living here. Thanks for watching.
@@RetiredandLivingthedream Thanks for the info Les, it's much appreciated 👍
I'll continue to watch and enjoy your vlogs. Please keep up the good work, for the benefit of us all 😎 Best wishes.
fantastic house.. thanks a lot.. curious, any info about the surroubnding such as restaturants, grocery, etc., ?
Also - do you need to have a car or scooter- I prefer walking or taxis/Uber when shopping for groceries or going to restaurants - how about a video of your daily outside activities?
Restaurants close by Makro and Tesco 15 km away. You need transport to live here.
Where we live no Uber. I have done many videos about living here and the daily living here Electrics Hydroponics and Solar, every day living. Thanks for watching over 350 videos is a lot of content. Enjoy
That is so cheap Les. I wish I could take it but I think I have to be further south down songkla way for the malay border.
Thanks for the tour, I hope you are both well. Much love.
Thanks for watching and taking time to comment.
U must be mad, I thought it was well over priced , looks more like 7 million baht.
Blew my mind Les! Always dreamt of something like this since I started watching. Coming over in November for some questions and answers. I've retired but still working in the NHS so I trust you know where I'm coming from. Can't thank you enough 🙏 if I can live there on 1500 a month with no worry I don't think I would hesitate. Would appreciate your thoughts 🤔🙏
1500 a month yep for sure you can live on this. I am going to do another video on costs here as these are very popular. How much would you pay to live 5 min from a nice beach in the UK More than the 378 I am sure. Thanks for watching. Best wishes for your future plans.
@@RetiredandLivingthedream thanks, look forward to the cost of living videos.
Those numbers don't look right, the second house was 4,000baht lower but you still had the same prices as the 17,000baht house,so the second house should be around £100 cheaper, which would be even better value, cheers from sunny Scotland.
Your correct the figures are wrong I placed them in the wrong order sorry for the mistake but the prices are 17,000 Baht and 13,000 Baht. Thanks for pointing this out.🙏😀
hi Les - nice video and property - you've done a few and i like looking at them and sometimes send "home" for people who may be interested. At the start of the video it is 17k THB but towards the end it says 13k - i think that may be a typo as the conversions to gbp etc are for 17k
Two properties one for 17,000 and the second one for 13,000
Ah in that case all the conversion rates for the second property are wrong. It's 4000 THB less per month but the gbp, eur etc are showing as the same as the first property at 17k THB
@brexpatfarang3780 All information is provided at the rate on the day with XE Currency converter but I have checked and you are correct the figures are wrong on the 2nd house. Thanks for pointing this out. But the main rental figures are correct at 17,000 and 13,000
@RetiredandLivingthedream it's OK. I wasn't trying to be funny just thought I'd let you know. As mentioned before great video (and your others- I always watch) regards
is that 17,000 baht per month?
Yes per month plus Electric water and Internet. lesliepearson58@yahoo.com
I've got to get down there to check Rayong out. I've looked around Bang Sale..but the highway construction is a mess. Is there someone to get in touch with about those houses, who you can forward an email or phone number? I'm coming from Pattaya
Hi we have 6 viewings today send me a email lesliepearson58@yahoo.com I can let you know.
They look nice properties but you dont mention the rental period i.e. 6 months 12 months etc and what's included in yhat price i.e. electric water etc. That would be handy.
1 month to 12 months are possible the price given is for a 12 month term. Electric Internet and water are extra as in most rental agreements. The upkeep of the garden is included. All the houses are fully furnished as seen in the video. Hope this helps thanks for your comment.
you couldn't rent a room for that price in England.
This is true is why I live here. Better quality of life living here.
@@RetiredandLivingthedream how much is a retirement visa?
@@stephentyas4698 THB 1,900 for a Retirement visa 1 year
@@RetiredandLivingthedream your kidding me.
@@stephentyas4698 Cheap. You need to show either 800,000 in a Thai bank or an income of 65,000 per month into a Thai bank account from over seas and be aged over 50
Why are the beds always standing from the walls in Thailand? If you know.
So, the racket doesn't disturb anyone else in the house🤣.
It's to stop them Geco's crawling down ya neck while you are asleep , or even worse . 😁
Don't know but handy to do a walk around the room.
Too pricey for long stay rent in Rayong
Good luck with your search, they were both Let within 48 hrs of showing the video.
Hi Les 13000 Baht = 337 Euro. 😅
Today Euro 338.07
Call me stupid if you like Les but what's the £378 for , is it for a week or a month or even to buy the place 😂 you didn't say , i'm guessing for a month .
Rental per month.
Need to be careful with immigration and the labor department acting as an agent or broker while on a retirement visa with no work permit. I know these “soft sell” vids amongst retired TH-camrs claiming just to provide information while having a commission arrangement under the table are not uncommon but you are taking your chances.
Hi thanks for the info, not an agent or broker just a provider of information. Thanks for taking time to comment.
