    I once drove my Ioniq 28 down to zero because of a closed motorway exit. We had to go to the next one and eventually the car stopped 70 meters before the next charger, just at the entrance to the parking lot. We put the car in neutral (drive mode 'N') and pushed it to the charger. Plugged in, went to have lunch, and everything was good again 40 minutes later. I can confirm that 0% means 0 range left on this car.

    • @silicaskynet3401
      @silicaskynet3401 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Kind of surprised that there is no little buffer once it reaches 0 like some other vehicles...but then again it is a small battery

    • @maexxx
      @maexxx ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@silicaskynet3401 mind you, it'll warn you a lot when the charge gets low, and eventually for the last 3 or so kilometers it will feel like you are driving a car with 10 hp - less than a Citroën 2CV and slower than a Trabi. Near the end it won't accelerate above 10 or 15 km/h. I was already creeping off the motorway with only 50 km/h and then the last few hundred meters towards the parking lot not much faster than a bicycle. So it will be obvious that it's about to stop.

    The low solar output was probably due to the cable lying on the panel. When shadow hits single cells they turn into strong resistive loads.

    Very similar results on my Ioniq with c70k kilometers on the clock. 24.5kWh usable battery, with accurate estimate of remaining range provided the driving style is consistent with previous days. Same behaviour observed with 13% triggering first charge warning, 5% triggering turtle mode, and 3% showing zero range. I didn't push beyond 3% so it s good to see there is quite a bit more life left if you re in a turtle mode panic! The Ioniq classic never ceases to amaze...

    This does drain hardly anything from th HV battery, mine lost only 0,5% while beeing parked for 5 weeks.
