A nice way around the heatshield problem is a turbo blanket. I am toying with swapping in these pipes on my F10 M5. It does not seem like such a bad job, a shame I did not think to do it when I did my turbo blanket, I was half way there. LOL!!
I have been told that those charcoal filters in the airboxes are to "eliminate" fuel vapor escaping from the intake system. EPA stuff perhaps...

They sound different because the headers are mixed as much as possible. Each cylinder bank mixes with the other cylinder bank before hitting the turbos, creating a sort of triple x pipe BEFORE the turbos. Same setup as the Agera, that’s why they say they sound the same.
These banked manifolds are a direct bolt on to the n63tu3 motors and to n63tu3 turbos too ( b8 alpina setup). I wonder how that will work if just swapping in.

Hi, great video! Did you have any troubble with hearing some "wastegate rattle noise" after the dp installation? I have seen that many does get the noise after replacing the OEM DPs for catless dps.
none at all. probably due to people not installing the 2 rear brackets back.
Premium Fuel Mag bracket has nothing to do with waste gate rattle , it’s flaps inside the turbo I have a 2015 M6 GC Fabworx downpipes, and Full Meistershaft exhaust , I had no wastegate rattle with stock pipes but the GThaus exhaust is 3-1/2 pipe it’s more free flowing now I have it pretty bad it sounds like a rattle snake every time I come to a stop , it doesn’t bother me but it would be nice if it wasn’t there , my Tuner says leave it alone it’s normal

hey! my name is Grant, I work for Pure Turbos in Oceanside,CA and just put our f13 m6 back to stock and cant seem to find the back downpipe bracket with the studs on it. do you by chance still have them? id love to buy them off of you if so!! let me know!!
Wow, awesome that folks from Pure are watching my vids! Sorry but I only used those brackets. I had to take them off to get the pipes out, then put them back in for the new pipes.

hey, why not just to cut out cats from stock pipes and just put them back in?
that would be the cheapest option, and the best way to avoid fitment issues that can sometimes occur when you use cheap aftermarket downpipes, but destroying the factory cats can be costly if you ever need to put them back on for emissions or to sell the car, it can cost over $1000 to get another set of used ones.
The purpose for replacing this is that they generate less heat?

they flow better, let the turbo spool faster, and yes more efficient.
Did you use a jack to get underneath?

My shop tried installing the rvg dp on the m850 but the Brackets don't fit well. The top Brackets right next to the turbos fit well but the bottom Brackets are off. One side of inches away. On the other tabs, only 1 of the 2 bolts fit. How much of an issue will not having all bolts installed in the brackets?
You need to have everything bolted down, otherwise they could blow apart.

Fam is the process similar u think for a biturbo Benz? I don’t see any videos online for benzes v8 biturbos
the motor configuration is the same, but I can't really speak for the details, and the details matter a lot.
Did u ceramic coat your downpipe before wrapping it with titanium wraps?

Downpipes are one of the hottest parts of your engine

@@M4XLITE pretty much just squeeze the ring together where the ridges are, and you can see where the clips catch, also make sure you are pulling from the right spot.

I recorded a few sound clips afterwards but they sucked due to background nois and other stupid stuff, and eventually i gave up on it.
