    Great video! I actually just ordered two of those $25 amazon catch cans for my ‘11 X5M the other day, and really had no clue what to connect them to. But thanks to this vid, I have a basis for my catch can build! Thanks for the info!

    If you put a proper stage 2 tune on it, it will stop burning oil. It usually eats a lot of oil if you do catless downpipes with out tune.

    Would you recommend running the hose directly from the valve cover to catch can and then to the PCV/CCV to intake ///or//// splicing it in front of the CCV/PCV valve with the (3rd hose underneath, not sure where that goes) --> catch can --> intake?

    • @Sgt.Slides
      @Sgt.Slides  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      i've been running this setup all year, and although it is correctly setup, it hasn't caught anything. BMW already has it's own oil separator system built into the valve cover, and it seems to be doing it's job perfectly. The oil fount in my intake, and the excessive oil smell from the exhaust continues to be a mystery. right now we suspect premature turbo wear, but that's a long shot.
