2 has always been my absolute favorite. the music is fantastic, the visuals are fantastic, the fights feet smoother, bayo's design was also THE design of all time
In Bayo 2, we get a line from Rosa to Balder about how Cereza would awaken and inherit the Eyes of the World. This to me implied that she would gain control of the Right Eye as well as the Left. When the first story trailer came out for Bayo 3, I theorized that the multiverse plot line was a way to regain the Right Eye in order to prove Rosa's statement true. The first and third bayonetta have way better combat but controlling demons in 3 was an amazing change to the series, it opened a lot more combo potential. @KamektheMagikoopa1 in terms of character action games with good stories and lore, Soulstice from 2022 and the Darksiders games are quite good. Though in the case of Darksiders, it's not exclusively combat gameplay. Still good games worth looking into.
I’ll say this, Bayonetta 1 has the most power in her attacks, when she uses her wicked weaves you can just feel the punches doing insane damage. Bayonetta 2 wasn’t that bad and it worked great with the game, but Bayonetta 3 reallyyyyy lacked that feeling of feeling the power in the punches when summoning Madama Butterflies hands and feet

Cereza and the lost demon is the origin story of the Bayonetta that we played in 3 (Cerecita), not of all the others. The game should have come out before 3 and its story would have been better understood. And at the end of 3, the only ones who "die" are Luka and Bayonetta from a single reality. All the other Bayonettas and realities are fine. As Bayonetta 1 needs 2 to understand the plot well, a Bayonetta 4 will be needed to tie up loose ends.
