@@grantlawrence611 it’s been 7 years since I put a needle in my arm. Heroin was the toughest one but also my mental health was the main reason I was getting high and other situations but what I found was art therapy and expression was my key. Or my heart lol
Wow, so that's why I get better results than many when I meditate, pray, or simply sit in silence. I found this gem when I was grieving my mum's death, I would walk to a local park to disconnect from my whole life and stay there as long as I needed, to grieve. I would allow every emotion to surface, the pain in my heart was strong and I faced it with no fear. I did this everyday... One day I noticed that there was this specific song of hers that she liked that everytime it would start playing i would become incredibly emotional and would immediately start crying, one day I went to the park with the intention to play it over and over until it wouldn't hurt anymore, and that was what happened. I played and replayed, cried uncontrollably, until when I played it like around the 8th time I would not be emotional anymore. I felt healed, I would listen to it and have no emotions about it. After days of doing this inner work, of going to the park, sitting when I felt like sitting, getting up and take small steps, take my shoes off to connect with earth, asking it to give its energy and enter through my feet, touching trees, feeling the texture of leaves and petals, stay there for 2h/3h, like nothing else existed...I felt more connected to my mum than I ever did when she was alive, and I could feel her joy, her freedom, I could see her smile. I felt one with the universe and beyond! 🙏💕✨ So all this time there was a scientific name for this, heart coherence??...
This is blowing my mind how this has just popped up into my TH-cam and I’m experiencing everything they’re talking about here. Wow. Being at peace with the mystery also helps keep you open and engaged
Loved this episode. Having been in the work for several years, I will say, he didn't want it and he left me. Just be aware, people will leave your circle if they cannot coexist in the new energy. A powerful outcome that happens when we change ourselves.
Yes, but you wouldn't want to stop growing and expanding your awareness just to stay back with someone who isn't growing. It wouldn't work out in the end anyway...
That's why I tell my clients, focus on the heart, your feelings... not on the mind. I guide them to focus on their feelings and connect with their heart space, encouraging them to trust that their heart knows the way. This is where true transformation happens - not by quieting the mind, but by listening deeply to the heart and letting it lead. ✨ I follow this based on my experience, not knowing that there was a scientific word for it - heart coherence. I guess I do it naturally, since I'm an empath. God bless! 🙏✨
Researchers surprisingly discovered that 70 percent of information actually is signaled from the neuro network of the heart to the neuro network of the brain- and not the other way around (Gregg Braden).- Great content from Heart Math Institute, Gregg Braden and Joe Dispenza for those who want to dig deeper. -- Thank you, Kimberly and Rich! Peace from Austria. 💙
Islam also focuses more on protecting the physical and spiritual heart. Muslims pray 5x day with putting forehead to ground. The only time the heart is above the head. A physical reminder put your heart above your head.
Breathing, breath therapy changes focus... quieting thoughts to expanding awareness of being in our bodies, in our hearts... breath in slowly through the nose .. mouth breathing doesn't reach deeply.. but mouth breathing activates body processes differently. I love that five heart stages, coherence .. when you do this 'things' have no value .. you become 'love' centered. Your 'fight' or 'win and lose' in an argument is no longer such an issue, you tend to shift to 'agree to disagree and let go' ... Thank you Kimberly and Rich ... totally agree .. it's easier living from a heart presence. ❤️
Connecting to your heart can be great, but sometimes it’s hard. For example, I was raised in a household that didn’t teach their kids empathy or how to take care of animals well. When I was young my father bought me animals to raise because I asked for it, but he doesn’t really care how they are treated by me who was too young and clueless, and ended up dying. If you ask me one and a half years ago how I felt about that incident I would tell you that “it was unfortunate” without feeling too bad about it. But now, the memories of childhood came flooding back and I bawled every time I recall the incident. So much pain.
What incident? Do you want to talk about what happened? I'm an animal lover and I can't imagine hurting one ever, but people do neglect animals for whatever reason and in your father's time, animals were seen as having little to no value, except to use then dispose of. They were a tool. They were not as cared for and definitely weren't having their needs met. Today we have animals living so much longer because of the better care humanity is showing. I have a 14 year old rabbit. He doesn't live in a cage and none of his vets can believe he is this age. He's got arthritis so he's on glucosamine as well as all kinds of quality supplements to help his health, but he's been running around the apt for the last few days with a new zest for life and I'm not sure what's different but he had a rough few weeks like he was going downhill. He's the strongest and handsomest boy. He's the best boy. I tell him every day. I'm his biggest cheerleader. Had a 20 year old cat. I just adore these sweet sweet beings. Do you have any pets now? Let's see if we can get you through these hard dark emotions that come up about the past. If you want to talk about it.. but don't if it's too hard. When we were little, my mom bought us rabbits. They were kept outside in small cages with no cover, completely exposed to the elements - hot sun and cold rain.. they didn't get quality food and never had hay. They had to drink from dirty water bottles that I don't think got filled all the time. They lived horrifying lives. We loved them so much... We didn't know better. Looking back, I am horrified at the thought of what our poor pets went through. It was abuse. Straight up. It rips my heart out to think of them, but we did love them. We just didn't even know what real love was. We weren't hurting them intentionally. We were in an abusive household. There were no computers or internet to learn more. Heck, it was unheard of to care for a rabbit the way we do today. Today I am a member of the House Rabbit Society. Rabbits don't belong in cages EVER, and I will die on that hill. Let's talk about it. Because by sharing our experiences, we make it easier for others to share theirs when they know they've found someone who can relate. When we don't feel so alone, we are stronger and can get through the hard stuff easier, together.
I love how telepathic we are becoming❤this is all been feeling called to and I can see how the universe is responding right now. Excited to explore heart center visions ❤
Intellectualizing everything has majorly stunted my growth. Being able to rationalize the irrational is essentially lying to yourself and ignoring the truths that come from your emotional body
Thank you is not enough. This is coming at just the right time to help me keep moving forward (if not pull me out of a dark hole). This podcast has done that so many times. Forever grateful for you and the community you cultivate. A real saving grace - ✌🏻🌱🙏🏽
Kimberly's faith & energy alone, in this way of being, and what she's striving to achieve with the book, inspires me to dive in. Thank you for , yet again, another above average conversation. Kudos from Portugal
This practice is amazing, I have been practicing this on my own through meditation, etc. prior to this interview. The Heart Math Institute taught me the importance of the Heart and all it offers when we are open to it. I think so many of us keep our heart closed out of fear and past experiences of pain. I am grateful for this podcast and the reminder to connect more deeply to my heart. The one minute exercise actually brought me to tears. Thank you - no coincidences.
I like the concept and will probably buy the book. Kimberly’s website though... It felt like product, wellness book and supplement sale overload. Not sure what I was expecting but it wasn’t that. Thanks for the content and I hope it helps out listeners.
Clear hearted, wow, now that makes sense to me ... life becomes magical ... humbling too. You kinda have moments where you experience events happening to help you and guide you throughout your challenges.
I can’t wait to read this book. I am a cardiovascular physiologist (PhD) and spent many years studying the neurocardiac axis - the intersection of our autonomic nervous system with cardiovascular function, specifically the heart. There is in fact an entire network of interneurons on the epicardial fat pads of the heart. I am so glad someone has studied this in a humanistic way and look forward to learning more about what they have found and experimenting with the technique myself. Great episode!
I love Kimberly’s work so much!! I stumbled across her maybe a year ago and I’ve been patiently waiting to see her on bigger platforms, this is so great!
Agree 100%, been following Joe Dispenza several years and been to his advanced workshop where he used heart rate monitors provided by the Heart Math Institute to measure heart coherence
At the beginning of the conversation, I was thinking... "Joe Dispenza! I hope they refer to him." He is the first time I heard about heart/brain coherence and the Heart Math Institute. I also stumbled upon a study that was adjacent called The Gateway Program/Method and Jose Silva method, to widen the rabbit hole 😂
Thank you Kimberly and Rich for sharing these insights. It's not easy to explain these metaphysical concepts, but there's i feel there is real passion and wisdom here. We're all on a journey of growth and understanding. For anyone feeling stuck in their lives, It doesnt hurt to explore these ideas with an open mind? You might discover something wonderful. Grateful for content that encourages us to think differently and expand our perspectives
Truthfully, this sounds like a rebranded meditation, as the practice itself by closing eyes and focusing your attention on breath (or heart in this instance) is identical to meditation. I don’t know if that needed a book or a scientific proof as it recites the benefits of meditation. I am not a sceptic or an atheist, that just what it seems to me. She is a clever marketing agent for that, (as no one will argue that this doesn’t work) however I am not sold on this as something revolutionary that she stumbled on during her parenthood.
yes there is a tremendous amount of cultural appropriated, and decontextualizing of asana, pranayama, and meditation practices out there. This is an example.
Agreed. She looks like Meghan M and hard to not look at. But she’s not saying anything unique or revelatory and how many times does she say “Rich” I lost count.
Agree... it's her 8th book... she's a genius at repacking and marketing. Maybe her next book will be on that. All the sanskrit references made me roll my eyes I hate this appropriation just to make something sound more impressive or legitimate. I clicked off after 20 mins in
Yesss, I’ve been experiencing so much of this since I’ve started connecting more deeply with my heart from breathwork. Feeling such connection to all of humanity. I cannot wait to get Kimberly’s book! This was such a wonderful episode! Thank you so much. Gonna share it with everyone I know! ❤🙏🏻
Yes! 100% at 52:30 hits the nail on my head. I sooooo felt "LOVE" in my heart in some relationships and NOW, I know. It was adverse childhood events (ACE's). NOT LOVE IN MY HEART!
I opened the comment section, and I want to mention that I am not doing this at all, except if the subject is so captivating and I want to learn more or clarify something that I don’t understand. The reason of opening comments to read about it is the opposite reason of I just mentioned. I wanted to know if I am the single one that listed for 1 hour and 40 minutes and doesn’t learn anything new. Rich, I admire you and I appreciate you trying any self improvement on yourself in front of all your audience, I admire your kindness and patience towards every guest, and there is a “but” in the end, be more selective
Lol yes I came here to see if others were offering any criticism. I feel so rude admitting it but I found myself yawning and rolling my eyes. I feel terrible to say that. 😂 I still appreciate the guest's passion and there are a couple nice takeaways. It felt like another book promotion and a person who "found the answer." My favorite interviews feel more authentic than this one. Can't win them all I guess. Just give me some facts about the science and a list of practices for implementation and forget the rest.
Agreed - I felt like the guest was holding back on what exactly the protocol is to help with book sales? It ended up feeling like a very long and thin conversation
Wonderful podcast, thank you for this video and your podcast. This video came to me at the perfect time on my own journey, love it when those beautiful things happen. I started to do this a few weeks ago, without really knowing what I was doing, to help me during panic attacks, and this video is confirmation to me that I am on the right path for helping ease my anxiety from within. Namaste.
I was looking forward to this conversation. Since recently I've started to align more with my heart thanks to CBT techniques. But her talking was fluid. A lot of well-known facts. Lack of precision. Especially, when Rich asked her about the difference from mindfulness. Her approach is actually chakra meditation.
This episode goes deep in great health. How many of you would be happy if you have the detailed notes of the podcast so that after listening this podcast you can have and read the important stuff in 10 mins anytime you want. Let me know your response.
I enjoyed this very much - and I really think your viewers would be better served if you edit these podcasts to convey the central points you want o convey in a shorter amount of time. An hour plus for a podcast is asking a lot.
I'm not going to be as articulate as some that have commented on this piece. I watched the entire thing and come away with the feeling that this appearance was not much more than a plug. Rich did his best to extract more but the circling never ceased. This could've been summed into 10 mins. really. Looking forward into a deep dive into Joe Despenza now though, so I'm not feeling robbed of my time. Thanks to the other commenters for that.
My thoughts towards the end was release the "book for free then". Assuming she doesn't need the money to live but if everyone "needs" to read and know this then just share it for free and do something else to make money.
Link(s) to the "scientific studies" that back up the supposed efficacy and measurement value of "magnetic fields of the heart" and the other vagaries she cites please? If she is going to claim that there is scientific evidence for her assertions, then can we please get the specific references? I was unable to find the particular reference for a paper in the American Journal of Cardiology or elsewhere. Thanks.
the heartmath research is somewhat problematic. probably going in the right direction, but definitely "Frontiers" oriented. (don't even know if they've published anything in Frontiers)
Hi, I am a skeptical by nature and I am a physician. Could not find a clear reference on AJC. Having said that, here what I found and from there there the citation section may help: www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4179616/pdf/fpsyg-05-01090.pdf
This is the only thing I’m thinking about while listening. Every time I hear something is evidence based I’d like to hear the evidence as other guests have done on this podcast in the past and with her I do not. I haven’t read her work so maybe it’s cited better there but from what I am hearing I’m underwhelmed.
Rich, I am so grateful for this podcast. I’ve listened to all of your last three podcasts, and each one gets better and weaves together a beautiful Beautiful way of making sense of this cacophony called life. THANK YOU!
Google agrees with Kimberly's number of 40,000 neurons in the heart, so I asked how many neurons were in the brain and Google's answer was 86,000,000,000. I then divided 86,000,000,000 by 40,000 and found that for each neuron in the heart there are 2,150,000 in the brain. That left me with the impression that the relevance per neuron in the heart seems to be significantly greater than those of the brain, but I'm not a scientist or doctor, just a curious person.
I would love to participate in those studies once. I am doing practices like these with these “promises” for years and i don’t experience real improvement in my life what makes me just think more if there is something wrong with me.
I couldn't help being taken aback when maths was given prominence for advocacy of matters of the heart. I'm 72, and my empirical experience tells me that when it comes to the matters of the heart, All You Need is LOVE (the Beatles were onto something?). Love ❤️ authentically pursued works its magic synchronising neurons in the brain, heart and gut. Maths or any hard sciences can hardly cope in accounting. 😅
This interview was uncomfortable for me to listen to because I felt like she was over talking Rich and a bit aggressive for someone who claims to be in the heart space. In other words, lack of authenticity for me. It seemed forced. However, I did gain valuable knowledge.
first change your perceptions and then your thoughts. this kinda means do first, and then think. usually your perceptions are based on thoughts, which are based on all sorts of informations and stimuli, emotional reactions etc. just change your perceptions first doesn't really make much sense for me. because if you start thinking afterwards anyway, you will most likely still come to the conclusions you would have had otherwise.

Timestamp: 1:10:10 the blessing and curse of achieving ...much appreciation both of you for the conversation!
This is nice conversation needed to be heard by all.🎉 congrats to ur channel.
Recycled Joe D and not giving credit where it’s due!
Agreed - I felt like the guest was holding back on what exactly the protocol is to help with book sales? It ended up feeling like a very long and thin conversation
Thank you so much guys this topic is so amazed for me a lots of learning that I'm trying to do it take care and god bless to both of you❤
Your best Podcast. Thank you :)
This landed for me at the exact right time & has helped articulate what I’ve been feeling through meditation. I’m excited to read the book ❤
Totally agree with Rich about poor diet, poor sleep, inactivity will impede heart coherence. Heart/Gut/Brain health ... it's all connected.
Glad you mentioned the Heart Math Institute and helping get this to a wider audience. Well done.
Namaste.
I’m so pumped for these much needed practices ❤
I needed this today and all days ahead. Thank you for this content, Rich. ❤
I was looking forward to this conversation. Since recently I've started to align more with my heart thanks to CBT techniques. But her talking was fluid. A lot of well-known facts. Lack of precision. Especially, when Rich asked her about the difference from mindfulness. Her approach is actually chakra meditation.
Thank you for showing us the science that confirms the power of these ancient practices.
This episode goes deep in great health.
How many of you would be happy if you have the detailed notes of the podcast so that after listening this podcast you can have and read the important stuff in 10 mins anytime you want.
Let me know your response.
Excellent Rich! Kimberly brought a beautiful heart message that I’ll practice. Thank you for all your giving.
Beautiful! This is what Joe Dispenza has been saying for years...
Can’t wait to get Kimberley’s book and put these practices to work. Very curious to see how it affects me.
I wear an Ahimsa (do no harm) ... it reminds me to try to stay in heart coherence. I believe in one higher power above humanity or sentient beings.
I enjoyed this very much - and I really think your viewers would be better served if you edit these podcasts to convey the central points you want o convey in a shorter amount of time. An hour plus for a podcast is asking a lot.
Thank you so much Rich for the great content !
The are no links at all in the description to her website or social media! Joe dispenza talks about this a lot🌻
All links are in the show notes on the episode page on my website www.richroll.com/podcast/kimberly-snyder-857/
Science says we feel before we think🙏
I'm not going to be as articulate as some that have commented on this piece. I watched the entire thing and come away with the feeling that this appearance was not much more than a plug. Rich did his best to extract more but the circling never ceased. This could've been summed into 10 mins. really. Looking forward into a deep dive into Joe Despenza now though, so I'm not feeling robbed of my time. Thanks to the other commenters for that.
My thoughts towards the end was release the "book for free then". Assuming she doesn't need the money to live but if everyone "needs" to read and know this then just share it for free and do something else to make money.
🌼Wow, thank you. Heart math conversations always capture my attention. This one was beautiful and so special 💚
Read all her other books... looking forward to this one! 💖🤗
HeartMath, Joe Dispenza and mBraining are the best root references to build yozr heart-centered life and leadership ❤️⚡️✨
Powerful information.
Thanks for sharing!
What a great way to manage anxiety. I’m so excited to hear this.
Thanks.
Of course, there are none. Pure pseudoscience.
the heartmath research is somewhat problematic. probably going in the right direction, but definitely "Frontiers" oriented.
Are you going to buy the book to check out the research?
I love your content Rich.
Cheers from Oz.

Thank you Rich and Kimberly!
Wow I loved this , thank you both ❤
Adam took a bite from the apple and thinking started. We've been searching for Eden ever since
Rich, I am so grateful for this podcast.
So even if that only equals one thought that one thought should count as much as once thought from the brain... Or something like that
Ordered the book... soooo excited ❤🎉

Excellen t share I do agree with this and have this understanding in my heart Grazie
Just preordered this book, thanks Rich!
Love the quote by Yogananda
I would love to participate in those studies once. I am doing practices like these with these “promises” for years and i don’t experience real improvement in my life what makes me just think more if there is something wrong with me.
Surrender! Connect to our higher power 🙌🏼
What was the website?
What is the website that Kimberly referred to in the podcast?
This is off topic but i really like your shirt, Rich. Would you be willing to share the brand?
Makes perfect sense.
the book that changed everything for me was Magnetic Aura from Borlest
Profoundly impactful.
Rich I am quite surprised that you are not aware of the Heart Math INstitute....and that Joe Dispenza brought all of this to us years ago....
What is the recording used in the study? Is it available anywhere?
I couldn't help being taken aback when maths was given prominence for advocacy of matters of the heart. I'm 72, and my empirical experience tells me that when it comes to the matters of the heart, All You Need is LOVE (the Beatles were onto something?). Love ❤️ authentically pursued works its magic synchronising neurons in the brain, heart and gut. Maths or any hard sciences can hardly cope in accounting. 😅
Thanks
Is there any way I could help subtitle this for my french friends ? This is the explanation I've been looking for ☺
It’s crazy no one here is talking about “the hidden herbs” by Anette Ray…
HealingLoveALL
This interview was uncomfortable for me to listen to because I felt like she was over talking Rich and a bit aggressive for someone who claims to be in the heart space. In other words, lack of authenticity for me. It seemed forced. However, I did gain valuable knowledge.
False statement
Wow ❤
Modern language is ineffective to fully communicate the universe of the heart.
She's essentially talking about (classical) Tantra.
first change your perceptions and then your thoughts.
this kinda means do first, and then think. usually your perceptions are based on thoughts, which are based on all sorts of informations and stimuli, emotional reactions etc.
just change your perceptions first doesn't really make much sense for me. because if you start thinking afterwards anyway, you will most likely still come to the conclusions you would have had otherwise.
