I literally spoke in the similar manner with this guy, I communicate to foreigners in daily basis, and this examiner (a local examiner) gave me 6.5.
This is just to show how extremely subjective the IELTS test is, and yet they set such expensive price (it's incredibly expensive in my country).
The guy in this video is great. He is nice and attentive (my examiner seemed like she couldn't wait to go home). But can y'all on IELTS think about the problem in your system? This is an expensive test yet the result is wildly varied.

Guess the key is being able to speak naturally like how you're supposed to be when you're engaging a conversation with sb. He is also very capable in expanding answers, i guess i cannot cuz I'm not a native speaker... To add, the vocabularies that he had used are not too difficult but somehow i just have issue to think of the right word to use as I speak. Of course he does sound like a native speaker, his pronunciation is good and its almost hard to hear an accent but I think he needed to prepare his answers much more to have scored a 9.

Qingtian Lin, he doesn't look like a hip hop man, you clearly don't have an idea what a hip hop man looks like. 😂 maybe you're just gay and you like him and you don't know what is the right adjective to use to describe him. 😂

He sounds very natural and speaks without hesitation. He is not a nervous guy especially in exam situation.

He speaks like a native! I would´ve gave him a 9.5, and the way he delivered his thoughs was like he talking deeply from his heart or to someone he knows well and feel comfortable.
