she gave her ideas very well and very naturally. Although the questions are short, she could answer fluently and develop her answer in many directions that make her answer so close to the questions. Hello teacher. My name is Alexandre Araújo de Carvalho. I am 35 years old. I am from Brazil. I have been studying English for three hours. Thank you so much.
For everyone thinking it's a real test, it isn't. It's an already written and well prepared answer. There is an another speaking video with same questions and same answers by same interviewer but different interviewee. It's okay to be nervous and strut sometimes as we don't know the questions prior like the person in the video, so don't think your English or pronunciation is bad by watching this video.
In my actual test years ago, the examiner interrupted me in almost every question in the 3rd part of speaking. I couldn’t deliver my thoughts very well because of that. It was annoying and i felt like she didn’t really care what i was going to say..
I myself am an IELTS trainer and I was awarded a 9.0 in speaking in the official exam. I know from my contact with an official examiner that 9.0, 9.0, 9.0, 8.0 is rounded down to an 8.5. To get a Band 9.0, you need four nines. This lady did speak remarkably calmly and confidently, but it is extremely unlikely that any official examiner would award her a 9.0 for this performance.
deacribe internet sites that was my question in my real test last week, but could not answer it properly as i went blank in my head , i need to have watch this video
Whatever her pronunciation is, her accent is, she is really obsessed in speaking English with her surrounding people, I think. That's why she is quite consistent while speaking. She doesn't make sudden pause. She really inspired me, what I need to do to be consistent is only pracrice. 😌
Wow this lady is practically amazing. I love her flow of ideas n construction of English. She speaks with fluency. She really deserves a band 10😅 I'm obviously listening to this almost everyday as I prepare for my speaking test. All the best to me.
8.5 or 9? To me I feel it would be 8.5. Yes, but she is really fluent in English, lexical and coherent replies, perfect examples 😂never mind she deserves a 9.I just wanted her to reply "good morning" when the examiner greeted her.
This person conducts the interview very well, 10 points on the way he conducted the interview. I speak four languages, but English is my primary language now, but I do use the other three languages as well.
the examiner is the best and well-mannered. I think this real IELTS speaking test was the purest because this lady explained the main facts about the internet very easily. The sounds of this test were very clear, I heard all the words and vocabulary very nicely and the examiner was so polite, his behavior was very good. also, I found some new techniques on how I should give the answer in a nice way, and also now I know how to make the examiner happy with good speeches.
Does that person deserve band 9? she repeats the examiner's questions in her response. She doesn't use synonyms and repeat the phrase as a matter of fact again and again. Just using simple vocabulary words.
That's all you need. You are learning the language so that you can communicate normally with normal people after all. Not to write some novels with weird vocabulary
She is great and a simple language have won! so, well done lady! For me, as a reserved person, even in my mother languase i pause a lot before speaking and i think a lot before giving my opinion on something. I'll never speak like that in english 😢
I think she is an 8.5 or even 8, not 9. She did make some mistakes with the accent (she said "conSEquences"), the /I/ vowel (she said "sence", instead of "since"), use of preposition (she said "aware ABOUT" instead of "aware OF"). Her choice of vocab was not that varied and complex. 8 is native fluency and accuracy but 9 sounds really natural and sometimes give you a "wow" feeling without realizing that she is speaking English.
She said ( generally I don't enjoy to watch ads...) at 2:44. If I am not mistaken it must be I don't enjoy watchING ads. There are a lot of grammars and exceptions in English language. Therefore, I would be wrong. I will be so happy if someone clarifies it 🌷🙏
correct, enjoy likewise like are verbs that are followed by a gerund, for instance, enjoy having, like having. She made a few grammar mistakes and her pronunciation was really moderate, she sounded like having memorized things and she did not sound natural at all.
Regardless her pronunciation she is truly 9.0 candidate. She use few words and fill the sentence and explain her idea clearly. Plus without grammar mistakes. Well done!
Ya all, I finally gave the test, it went surprisingly well! I’m waiting for my results which will arrive within 20 days. Questions asked were quite simple, but thoughtful. Part 1 Where do you live? Do you study or work? Do you like/prefer old buildings or new/modern? Why? What is advantageous in living in modern building? Do you like your home? (I went blank for a sec 😑) Which room is your favorite in you house? Do you prefer working in family business or different company? Part 2 If you were to work with a family member, who would it be and why? -Who that person is -why do you want to work with him -is it advantageous? Part 3 Is working in family business better than working elsewhere? Do people prefer working in the same organization for a long period or changing jobs from time to time? What is advantage/disadvantage of working in one place for a long time? What is advantage/disadvantage for working at different jobs? -End- Time flew by fast, speaking test was finished within 12 minutes. Listening test is easy, the one where you get a map of a park with different alphabet pointing to shops is kinda hard. You should hear it carefully. (Make sure you have an idea of what the question is askin) Writing was easy, make sure you write more than the word limit. There must be an introduction, first para (advantages), second para (disadvantages) and conclusion Reading is pretty much all about time management, practice finishing reading test within the time, have extra 3 minutes to recheck doubtful answers. Practice speaking at home, randomly talk to yourself (oml the reaction my family gve me 😮💨) and once or twice talk with someone on such topics. Use connecting words, just a formal you can find on videos or websites. Know starting phrases, practice practice practice! (Dw it’s easy but oh ma gawd that stress 😭) Overall, I stressed a lot (forgot breathing too for a while before arriving at the council for speaking test) but yeah it was very easy and comfy test! Yes we everyone’s stressin before test, its normal. You can do it tho, kudos 🥂 If any questions, please ask (altho i wrote a long ass para: first time in my whole life on youtube)
@@engieann5200 my hands were shaky asf on the way, I couldn’t breathe and had to watch motivational videos and shi. BUT guess whattt, oml i scored 7 overall 😭
I just came here to get some ideas for my new TH-cam video. I got 8.5 out of 9 in ielts speaking , not just once but twice in a row 👩🏻🏫. I wish everyone the best of luck 🍀.
I am a native English speaker. She doesn't deserve a 9. She's lucky her examiner gave her a better score than she deserves. Her English isn't natural. It's clear she isn't confident, and had to study a lot because she uses phrases that aren't really natural which she clearly memorized before.
Confidence is amazing, on the spot performance too, but she does make some grammatical mistakes while speaking. There are some band 8 speaking tests with less mistakes actually....
The test is not hard but the fact that you are being tested gets you intimidated sort of and makes you hesitant while answering which will lower your score.
I remember I passed interview very positive and answered all questions properly with British accent. Unfortunately, speaking test result was 6 points, and others 5.5 points. I compared my speaking, reading, writing skills with others in TH-cam channel who passed IELTS and got 7 or 8 points and I think I was given unfair results. Those years many students were applying to foreign country universities. In the result government lost many educated people. Many students decided to stay abroad forever when they felt life difference between two countries. To be frankly, our government played a key role in making obstacles to stop young generation from leaving their motherland and live under pressure by feeling threat and dictatorship.
So the key is give an idea and explain them in a simple language. Alternate some of the word to their "more academic" synonims whenever you can, but avoid selecting fancy words and constructing your sentences around them. Good one

There is an another speaking video with same questions and same answers by same interviewer but different interviewee. It's okay to be nervous and strut sometimes as we don't know the questions prior like the person in the video, so don't think your English or pronunciation is bad by watching this video.
I think I'm now addicted to the examiner's voice
IT JUST SO CALM AND I THOUGHT I WAS LISTIENING TO SOME PODCAST CHANNELS!!!
In my actual test years ago, the examiner interrupted me in almost every question in the 3rd part of speaking. I couldn’t deliver my thoughts very well because of that. It was annoying and i felt like she didn’t really care what i was going to say..
I wonder what score u got from her
Seeing this Interviewee, I just Realised knowing fancy words isn't that Imperative and I've got motivated That I can Participate in IELTS.
@tha kar why would I do that?
I'm extremely impressed. I don't think I've ever seen someone grasp a foreign language as well as this. I'm inspired to learn a language now! 😂
I love her speech so much!
I have a question sir. She has many pronunciation bugs why they didn't reduce her score?
@@Mahlasltn77 because it's her natural accent. Depends on the region
Her actual score seems to be an 8.75, which rounded up to a band 9.
@@sabikunnaharsumaiya2883 A lot of people, teachers included, mistakenly think it's rounded up. Don't believe what you see on the Internet.
This is true.
examiner is so polite, I love his simplicity
deacribe internet sites that was my question in my real test last week, but could not answer it properly as i went blank in my head , i need to have watch this video
Whatever her pronunciation is, her accent is, she is really obsessed in speaking English with her surrounding people, I think. That's why she is quite consistent while speaking. She doesn't make sudden pause. She really inspired me, what I need to do to be consistent is only pracrice. 😌
She is not genuine, she is just an actor who perfects the language and talking on a funny accent to imply she is a foreigner.
Wow this lady is practically amazing. I love her flow of ideas n construction of English. She speaks with fluency. She really deserves a band 10😅 I'm obviously listening to this almost everyday as I prepare for my speaking test. All the best to me.
Good luck on the test, I myself am also preparing myself for the test.
Did you pass your exam ?
Not very good should have failed
Not good.
So clear the way the lady talk, each idea flows one to another!
I love her accent!
I’m also preparing isles test right now, and this channer and so many videos help me a lot :) i’m happy that I found this channel.
wowww.. his voice soothes anyone... i wish i could get him as my interviewer during my speaking test... god bless you Sir..
8.5 or 9? To me I feel it would be 8.5. Yes, but she is really fluent in English, lexical and coherent replies, perfect examples 😂never mind she deserves a 9.I just wanted her to reply "good morning" when the examiner greeted her.
She did reply 'Good morning' but forget to say 'Thank You' when the examiner offered her a seat.
Notwithstanding,she did perfectly well.
a very sensitive guy eh?
You can't always expect humans to be 100 % when they are in a situation likely to have alot of stress.
@@beyondhope4humanity It's the 'Test' what you call it.
... lexical *with* coherent replies *and* perfect examples
She spoke in way that i want to reach it currently. Very straightforward and selective vocabulary.
The examiner when he suddenly look right into the camera and announce the next part I feel like he’s looking into my soul
Same 🤣🤣🤣
This vid inspired me to reach on that band 9 level.
Thank-you very much for uploading the reality of IELTS speaking test💕✍️
This person conducts the interview very well, 10 points on the way he conducted the interview. I speak four languages, but English is my primary language now, but I do use the other three languages as well.
Didn't ask.
It’s so impressive that English is a second language and she speaks that well
I like the lady! Because she speaks very clear and simple 💗
She is so chill and speaks with confidence
She uses simple words and has a very good pace. Congrats!
the examiner is the best and well-mannered. I think this real IELTS speaking test was the purest because this lady explained the main facts about the internet very easily. The sounds of this test were very clear, I heard all the words and vocabulary very nicely and the examiner was so polite, his behavior was very good. also, I found some new techniques on how I should give the answer in a nice way, and also now I know how to make the examiner happy with good speeches.
this is memorised because I just saw another video of the same channel asking same questions and they had the same answers.
how i wish i could have him on my own day of the ielts test 2022. his so polite and nod his head to make her know she's on the right track.
No matter how good a TH-cam video is, you will still see some persons click on the dislike button. Why are people like that?
I thought I was the only one who noticed that 😂💔
Sometimes I randomly dislike some videos, that can be a part of the answer
Does that person deserve band 9? she repeats the examiner's questions in her response. She doesn't use synonyms and repeat the phrase as a matter of fact again and again. Just using simple vocabulary words.
That's all you need. You are learning the language so that you can communicate normally with normal people after all. Not to write some novels with weird vocabulary
She is great and a simple language have won! so, well done lady! For me, as a reserved person, even in my mother languase i pause a lot before speaking and i think a lot before giving my opinion on something. I'll never speak like that in english 😢
Relatable🙂cheers!
É foda né Mara, é foda.
@@GabrielSimp É mesmo. Ahahah
1:24 "according to my opinion" sounds odd, doesn't it??
Rolf
All these interviews really helped me to get 7.5 in my speaking module and overall 7 band score ....
This men is always very clearly audible... And this girl really amazing as well as her poses n fluency
Regardless her pronunciation she is truly 9.0 candidate. She use few words and fill the sentence and explain her idea clearly. Plus without grammar mistakes. Well done!
No man she said "another solution for"
@@letshigh99 could you supply a time reference so that I can check the context ?
Very simple. She did a nice job, keep it simple...always simple.
Exquisite speaking ❤️👍
Please share some more session
Waiting for next ones !🥰
Ya all, I finally gave the test, it went surprisingly well! I’m waiting for my results which will arrive within 20 days.
Questions asked were quite simple, but thoughtful.
Part 1
Where do you live?
Do you study or work?
Do you like/prefer old buildings or new/modern?
Why?
What is advantageous in living in modern building?
Do you like your home? (I went blank for a sec 😑)
Which room is your favorite in you house?
Do you prefer working in family business or different company?
Part 2
If you were to work with a family member, who would it be and why?
-Who that person is
-why do you want to work with him
-is it advantageous?
Part 3
Is working in family business better than working elsewhere?
Do people prefer working in the same organization for a long period or changing jobs from time to time?
What is advantage/disadvantage of working in one place for a long time?
What is advantage/disadvantage for working at different jobs?
-End-
Time flew by fast, speaking test was finished within 12 minutes.
Listening test is easy, the one where you get a map of a park with different alphabet pointing to shops is kinda hard. You should hear it carefully. (Make sure you have an idea of what the question is askin)
Writing was easy, make sure you write more than the word limit. There must be an introduction, first para (advantages), second para (disadvantages) and conclusion
Reading is pretty much all about time management, practice finishing reading test within the time, have extra 3 minutes to recheck doubtful answers.
Practice speaking at home, randomly talk to yourself (oml the reaction my family gve me 😮💨) and once or twice talk with someone on such topics. Use connecting words, just a formal you can find on videos or websites. Know starting phrases, practice practice practice! (Dw it’s easy but oh ma gawd that stress 😭)
Overall, I stressed a lot (forgot breathing too for a while before arriving at the council for speaking test) but yeah it was very easy and comfy test!
Yes we everyone’s stressin before test, its normal. You can do it tho, kudos 🥂
If any questions, please ask (altho i wrote a long ass para: first time in my whole life on youtube)
My test is tomorrow I'm nervous
@@engieann5200 my hands were shaky asf on the way, I couldn’t breathe and had to watch motivational videos and shi. BUT guess whattt, oml i scored 7 overall 😭

Thanks for sharing this great speaking test.
I like her accent! 😍
I am surprised to notice that candidates with a quite heavy L1 accent get to score very high.
You can hear by her tone that her answers were prepared in advance.
Even by her face. She's constantly looking at one spot and this is unnatural.
@@vladaakavk370 exactly, imagine if the examinator would've asked a question that wasn't on her list, she would've been at a loss for words.
she has a blank stare hahahah
I just came here to get some ideas for my new TH-cam video. I got 8.5 out of 9 in ielts speaking , not just once but twice in a row 👩🏻🏫. I wish everyone the best of luck 🍀.
I am a native English speaker.
She doesn't deserve a 9. She's lucky her examiner gave her a better score than she deserves.
Her English isn't natural. It's clear she isn't confident, and had to study a lot because she uses phrases that aren't really natural which she clearly memorized before.
I love this video and all but the intro really led me to think of a different plot
These speaking exams remind me job interviews. You can pretty much get prepared for all possible questions
Confidence is amazing, on the spot performance too, but she does make some grammatical mistakes while speaking. There are some band 8 speaking tests with less mistakes actually....
Specially part 3 was superb!
No doubt her way of thinking is outstanding.
I feel like she is one of the most understanding friend in the group
The test is not hard but the fact that you are being tested gets you intimidated sort of and makes you hesitant while answering which will lower your score.
honestly speaking her answers and pace everything is very good
Such an outstanding performance✨👌
Your video is my daily English study
has been
I studied English again after 10 years
I am using asmr as a tool
Please support!! Wow....
Falling in love with her brilliant answer to each tricky question. Well done!💓
It's crazy how close Greek and Spanish accents are when speaking English
she is a cutie....and i love her accent. the interviewer is such a calm and comforting dude ... hoping for someone like him when my time comes.
Such an outstanding performance👍
I really loved the lady's natural accent of speaking English!
If this is the performance you need for a 9, I think I should feel safe.
Where from you?
yes true im pretty sure i get a7,5 or a 7 but i got a 6
Homie be looking right into my window of soul and saying " Ielts academic - speaking - Part 3"
So the key is give an idea and explain them in a simple language. Alternate some of the word to their "more academic" synonims whenever you can, but avoid selecting fancy words and constructing your sentences around them. Good one
Wow !! Amazing way of her talking!!thnq uh for give me a lot of ideas as well as strategies that how we should speak well🥰
She covered all the topics as a well informed person would. I need to reach that level soon!
I wish I got an examiner like him!
Very true
Interesting career plan 🤔
