Happy Birthday Allie! Your celebration with friends on a beach with pristine water is a gift in itself! Congratulations on your landfall across the pacific!! You and Ben are having the time of your lives on your Big Adventure!🌴⛵
Island hopping, oh yeah! Got bananas? A little Rugged Coast gear I believe there Alie. You'll find some waves Ben, heck you might already have. Take your time on this part of your journey guys, you worked a long time to get here. ❤🙏
omg, I just came back to Utube . I remember when you were in Naniamo, we just missed you in desolation. We lived with our small kids for 2.5 years based out of victoria harbour, however did over 500 miles each summer. Ended up in Powell River as the kids were growing and the boat was not. Stay safe, you guys really did it!
nuts hey?! I still cant believe it either💙
Great video!! The last couple of episodes have been full of amazing shots - waterfalls, rain forest, local culture and of course your smiles and enthusiasm!!! Thanks!
thank you💙 I will keep them coming for you!
Fantastic video guys some awesome scenery of those islands and Alie great footage of the reef life there, you did a good snorkeling and filming and this is only the beginning of your adventures just keep those videos coming please 🤣🤣 till next week enjoy your selves 😊😊👍🇳🇿
thank you💙
Congratulations on your sail thus far . My first sail on the Dash 34 Balderdash was awesome , at one point between Sooke Marine we were sailing 7knots with a 35 knot SW on the way to Oak Bay marina the first day . Motored the next day between Oak Bay and Maple Bay . Going out to the boat this weekend .
have fun!
Awesome job guys. Hope the waves will treat you both soon. Chase your dreams. Spoiler alert!!! The coral reefs are changing as you go west. BEST TO Y’ALL. ❤❤😊😊
thank you💙
The supply vessel is the Aranui 5, it is a cruise ship in the stern and supply vessel in the front. We have taken that voyage to most of the islands. Fantastic trip.
I love you guys, also from BC. Currently in Whistler Village Working. I'm truly envious
Whistler is so lovely too
i just love watching the two of you.
Hi guys. I am from the west coast of BC and spent a year travelling the coast living on my cabin cruiser buying and selling to the native villages up to where Alaska starts. Spent alot of time in the Great Bear Rain forest. Love seeing that Canadian flag on your boat. Cheers and be safe
Thanks for sharing!
Allie and Ben: truly amazing to see your island life has begun. After all that hard work you both did prior to departure you both deserve fun and the unique tropical paradise. Love the cinematography and splendid editing. Hope your search for the perfect wave is close at hand. Love you guys! Enjoy.
thank you💙
One of my favorite ppl to watch y'all and calico sky's
thank you💙
So fun to ear and understand what you're saying underwater😅 unique yes ❤
hahaha
Great stuff guys. Keep Canuking it up!
thank you💙
3:29 The ship is the Aranui 3. It's both a cruise and cargo ship that traverses French Polynesia.
thank you💙
It's the Aranui, it was built that way. half supply boat, half cruise ship. Great videos!
thank you💙
I’ve been enjoying your videos and enthusiasm for some time now. Well done.
Awesome, thank you!
Glad you are enjoying yourself keep up the good work
Thank you, I will
Great episode guys!
Thanks pal!! Always first comment :)
Ola Ben. I saw a similar ferry/ supply ship in Europe. The cruise ship section is for passengers and the rest for cargo.
Thanks!
thank you💙
100% van isle guy. What a lush and beautiful island ... I wonder if they log it . 😂😂😂
3:23 Those ships are designed to carry cargo and passengers not one of the other. It makes sense between islands like the Marquesas.
thank you💙
Amazing video
Thanks!
Beautiful scenery video. Make sure you really check the banana's so you don't bring "visitors" onboard. I know what light I'm getting for my dinghy. That's for sharing.
Very true!
My wife really likes y'all's bimin top where can we find one for our boat
The state of the ports could likely be WWII. Lots of concrete in the South Pacific.
true good point
I really like your voyage, and wish the best to both of you. One suggestion you are half way around the world, if you see something like a unique ship ( which was purpose built) or the impact of religion on the local culture, and you don't know what the story is ? there is a simple thing to do, its to ask a local then tell your watchers what you have learned. I hope you enjoy the waves and the sun.
thank you💙

Weird question, at min 11:22 I noticed the tow harness on your boat. I have a very similar Highfield RIB. I recently bought one of those. I noticed when I get up on a plane the ss clips on the bottom smack around on the hull and make all kinds of racket. Is that racket something that doesn't bother you or did you find a fix for it?
We have since changed it to a single
Floating painter line clipped to the center. We don't tow much anymore with the davits installed last year and our bridal was near it's expiration date. But had we kept it, yes agreed the rattling is a bit annoying we would probably have changed out that connection for something different.
Looks like the ship that used to sail to St Helena?
maybe it is!
🇹🇷🇹🇷👍👍
How is star linc working for you?
perfect. its expensive as heck in the middle of the ocean but it works
🤠👍
