I only wear 47 MVP hats, fit the best for me. Don't like the look of pure fitted hats.
I tried the MVP, while a nice structured look perhaps could be a little more comfortable

Nice video. Just one correction to point out -- the Cleanup cap is a cotton fabric, which is why it's a softer more casual cap, while the MVP uses acrylic (like polyester) with a little bit of wool mixed in to help create a firmer cap. It's also what gives the MVP that "sharper look" as you said. Thanks for the demo.
Actually both mvp and clean up are cotton twill
@@dso my MVP is 85% acrylic and 15% wool whereas my Clean Up is 100% cotton

I like both of these caps, but I much prefer the clean-up cap. I like the MVP, but the clean-up is more comfortable and soft, and it feels like a traditional dad hat. The clean-up hat seems to be 47 brand's bread and butter. The MVP is nice, but I am not the biggest fan of it as a structured adjustable cap. The sweat band is not as comfortable as the clean-up, doesn't mold to my head as well, and I am not the biggest fan of the wool to the touch. For me, the New Era 9FORTY is my preferred choice for a structured adjustable cap because it has a soft sweatband, molds to my head, and it has similar styles to the players. The clean-up cap is 47 brand's masterpiece.

I personally don’t like the Clean Up much. I like how relaxed it is but it’s very lumpy and tragic looking. Is there a style between the Clean Up and a Fitted Cap that achieves comfort and some style?
‘47 only really do the two main styles. You’re probably best off with the MVP.

are they structured or unstructured in the front?
I have been racking my brain to figure out the style of ‘47 cap I bought at LAX, it’s a Dodgers cap. It has the hard front of an MVP style cap BUT it has the adjustable strap, buckle and tuck option in the back of a clean up. Have you seen this before? It’s a perfect combination of both hats as I hate the snap back and Velcro options, any clue if this is an anomaly or just a variation of the MVP? Thank you in advance 🙏🙏🙏

Thanks for the help! I ended up identifying the specific sub style it’s the ‘Legend’ MVP line. These will find you the hard top with soft back and adjustable strap. Definitely not as prevalent and fewer options but I still managed to buy four more

Cheers mate real helpful, I have little head so finding caps that don't look too large is a nightmare, had a perfect fitting white Nike hat few years ago and description was slim fit, but can't find anything now under same description and no matter what style I buy I always look like I'm wearing my Dad's cap. I even resorted to buy a kids version but obviously to small, I only wear them to hide my scars any ideas what best style, ps tried the stretch fit and came down over ears.🙈
47 caps are basically one size fits all so you might be better off with something "sized". A New Era or Fox cap that comes in S/M might be better?

The "clean up" is a dad hat
the clean up is described as "low crown" and is unstructured, so its more of the dad-hat you're looking for
Wish the mvp came standard with a snap back, the velcro makes me feel like I’m 5 years old

So it sounds like clean up cap is just marketing BS invented by 47 to describe a soft twill cap. It has no meaning at all in badeball.
