- With the SCT X4 Performance Programmer, you have the option to load custom tunes or to use the X4 programmer to maximize the stock parameters. Since our test subject just received a stage 2 cam and springs, it needed a full custom tune. We used the SCT X4 to load this custom tune, and we can also return the SUV back to stock if we need to. All the while, the custom tune is still saved in the X4 programmer for reloading again.

I won't say that you can't, but it would be really tough to do. If you follow the instructions and always keep a stock tune backup, you shouldn't have any issues. Thanks for watching.
What preloaded tunes does this device come with?
i have that x4 in my Lincoln town car signature series just did a turned off the max speed limiter and now my transmission wont shift out of 1st until almost 30mph you have any help to fix it cause the 4.6 shits and gets now its top speed was like 112 i was well passed 120+ and still going but i didnt like the way it shifts from first to second

It Will Bro,I have 1 on my truck,U can turn Your governors off,or set it to a different MPH,I took it out and tested it on the highway,It doesn't Big at 100
I have an Eonan after market stereo system. Ive seen with Diablo, you need to completely unhook it or the tuner wont work.
Do you have to with this unit?
Because I really dont want to take that damn stereo out again. And I gotta turn off afm dod from this truck.

Who in the US can write me a custom tune? I have after market wheels and tires and a intake on my 06 silverado 1500 5.3L that has a super 44 flowmaster. I pull a Nitro z21 and she is a dog pulling it. Would like a 87 performance tune and a 87 tow tune. Any suggestions? Thank you

I have an egr delete, updated my tuner and it got rid of that option bringing up the engine light :-(
