Mike has said multiple times that Joel is WRONG and so is Todd. He’s not claiming their teachings are accurate, all he has said is that on a personal level they believe what they are teaching. If you shared the totality of the context of Mike saying “Joel is a brother” it’s in context of him not suing Joel. Not edifying his positions and teachings. If you were honest about this you would see that, he has done at least 6 full videos including one called “Joel Osteen WRONG…” so yes he has called him out for false teachings, not he’s not claiming that his teachings are correct and valid. And you know that’s true when you watch the whole video in context and you don’t use literal 3 second, out of context clips to prove your claim. Come on brother, this is an attack that isn’t necessary, edifying, or helpful to the whole body. I believe both of you have good points in your teachings. I have a genuine question and would appreciate some insight. Can someone truly believe in God and that Jesus Christ died for our sins while engaging in deceitful behaviors or being a false preacher who is obviously doing things for money? This isn’t a loaded question-I’m not here to argue or defend anyone. I’m simply trying to understand. I’ve always believed that eternal salvation means you can’t lose it, no matter what you do, even if you become a deceiver. For example, if Todd White and Joel Osteen genuinely believe in God and in Jesus’ sacrifice for our sins, wouldn’t that still make them Christians? Could they simply be poor examples of what a Christian should be? Perhaps there’s no heavenly reward for such behavior, but would they still be saved? I might have this all wrong, but I’d love some help in understanding this better.
A Christian can be in error but if they (especially a pastor) if they are involved in ongoing sin, teaching a false gospel, ignoring correction, they are to be admonished twice and then excommunicated / marked and avoided Titus 3:10, Romans 16:17-18. Jesus says we are to regard such a person as a wolf, or at least a heathen or a tax collector so that means you don't go around telling everyone they are a brother in Christ. Winger is way out of line on this one but he is a charismatic and it's understood among charismatics that you go light on each other.

But Mike is starting to come around and sense that Joel is not a Christian> There are YT Christians on both sides of the spectrum.
